Pelicans vs Thunder Picks & Prediction

The only road team to cover among the eight Game 1's over the weekend was New Orleans, who hung with Oklahoma City in a 94-92 loss as 8.5-point underdogs.

The Pelicans are still without forward Zion Williamson, who is dealing with a hamstring injury. New Orleans hung around in Game 1 in spite of shooting 39% from the floor and 11-of-39 from 3-point range.

The Game 1 total closed at 216.5 as Wednesday's Game 2 total has dropped five points down to 211.5. The opening period saw the teams each score 17 points, which easily put the game on track for an Under.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led OKC with 28 points in spite of not hitting a 3-pointer, as the All-Star guard is 0-of-14 from long distance in his last three games.

Oklahoma City's defense stifled New Orleans in Game 1, as we'll see if the Thunder's offense can step up to cover this number on Wednesday.
