Since a T2 at the Cognizant Classic, he has gone T44, T54, MC, and T22. In his tournament debut last year, he missed the cut and lost 6 strokes on approach in 2 rounds. In a H2H matchup, give me the consistency of Jaeger.
Noren is 2nd in my model for the week behind only Adam Scott. He's a popular outright bet this week and the model certainly agrees with the pick, but I have too many Sunday scars from betting on him over the years. It's like Tommy Fleetwood all over again. Instead of the outright, I'll settle for a top 20 from Noren at +140. He's finished in the top 20 in 4 of his last 5 starts on the PGA TOUR and has finished T21 and T12 in his 2 starts at this event. He's an excellent scrambler and tends to play his best in the wind, which really sets up well for him given this week's forecast.
BET365Si Woo has yet to miss a cut this season and only missed 1 cut since last July. He only has one top 10 this year, but that's because he has gone ice-cold on the greens. His ball striking and around-the-green game have been elite. He has gained at least 5.7 strokes tee to green in 6 of his last 8 starts. He has a good track record in windy conditions, which should come in handy this week at TPC Craig Ranch. He's played this event each of the last 3 years and finished in a tie for 2nd here last year.
