NASCAR Cook Out 400 Picks, Predictions
NASCAR is back for the stretch run following a two-week hiatus as it returns to Richmond Raceway for the Cook Out 400.
Kyle Larson won at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the most recent race on July 21, marking his fourth win of the season as he maintains a 10-point advantage in the standings over Chase Elliott for first place.
Virginia native Denny Hamlin captured the checkered flag in the first race at Richmond Raceway in late March at the Toyota Owners 400.
In last year's edition of this race, Chris Buescher picked up his first career victory at Richmond as he led 88 laps. Buescher finished 10th in the March event at this track, marking his third top-10 finish at Richmond in the past four tries.
Christopher Bell is the favorite heading into Sunday at +450 odds and +150 for a top-three finish. Bell has never won at Richmond in eight tries but has finished top-six in six of the past seven events at this track.
