NASCAR USA Today 301 Picks, Predictions, Odds

The NASCAR circuit travels to New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon for the USA Today 301, which was formerly the Crayon 301 before a sponsorship change this season.

This will be the 18th race of the campaign after Ryan Blaney was victorious at Iowa last week. Things shift to the intermediate track setup in Loudon on Sunday, which is similar to Phoenix, Dover, and Gateway with the one-mile layout.

This season, Christopher Bell picked up the checkered flag at Phoenix, while Denny Hamlin won at Dover, and Austin Cindric grabbed a win at Gateway in Illinois.

In last year's race at New Hampshire, Martin Truex, Jr. finished on top, right ahead of Joey Logano and Kyle Larson.

NASCAR EXPERT BETS - USA TODAY 301

For this week's USA Today 301 on Sunday June 23, 2024 from New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire, our auto racing experts are focusing on the below individuals:

  • Joey Logano
  • Brad Keselowski
  • Bubba Wallace
Joey Logano Race Winner (+850)

Like I mentioned on the Running Hot podcast, this is a model bet. My model likes Logano this week and has value at +850 early in the week. Logano ranks 2nd in speed at New Hampshire with the Next-Gen car. He finished with one of the best cars last season and should have a great starting point heading to the track this weekend. The Fords have been strong over the last six weeks, and Logano needs a win.

Brad Keselowski Top 5 Finish (+250)

Keselowski has finished 7th and 5th in the last two races at New Hampshire with the Next-Gen car. He has five top-5 finishes in the last 10 races here. He has the 3rd-highest driver rating in those 10 races, and he ranks 4th in speed. This has always been a great track for Keselowski, and he ranks 8th in speed on short-flat tracks this season. RFK has speed recently, and I want to take advantage of Keselowski on a good track for him.

Bubba Wallace Top 10 Finish (+170)

Another short-flat track, another week of me betting on Wallace. He ranks 14th in speed on short-flat tracks this season and 7th in speed at New Hampshire with the Next-Gen car. He's finished 3rd and 8th in those two races. He's 1 of 4 drivers to finish top 10 in both races here. Toyota should have a lot of speed this weekend, and I think this is a good track for Wallace.
