Grant Park 165 Picks, Predictions, Odds

The NASCAR circuit kicks off the July slate as things head to the Windy City for the Grant Park 165.

The second-ever street race in NASCAR history takes place in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday afternoon in the downtown area between Michigan Avenue and Lake Shore Drive.

Shane van Ginsbergen captured the first ever edition of the Grant Park 220 last summer in the rain at 20/1 odds. The New Zealand native has vaulted to the favorite at +210 odds for Sunday's race.

Also, last year's edition of this race was 220 miles, but has been shortened to 165 miles, hence the name change to the Grant Park 165.

Kyle Larson remains atop the driver standings after 19 races with 664 points, followed by Chase Elliott (644), Denny Hamlin (621), Tyler Reddick (611), and Martin Truex, Jr. (591).

There have been five different winners in the past five races, capped off by Joey Logano's first victory of the season last Sunday at the Ally 400 in Nashville.
