LATEST UPDATE: Forty minutes before tipoff, Michigan is 5.5-point chalk in BetMGM's Big Ten Tournament odds, with -105 juice on both sides. The Wolverines opened -6.5 and toggled to -5.5 a couple times, most recently just after 11:30 a.m. ET.

Still, the favorite is plenty popular today.

"There's tons of Michigan money. It's probably 4/1 Michigan bets. The book will want Purdue," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total is at 149.5 (Under -115), down from the 151.5 opener, but up from the 148.5 low point hit a couple times. Cipollini said BetMGM would prefer the Under.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 1 seed Michigan (31-2 SU/16-17 ATS) advanced to the Big Ten final with a thrilling victory over No. 5 seed Wisconsin in Saturday's first semifinal. Yaxel Lendeborg hit a 3-pointer in the final seconds to give the Wolverines a 65-62 victory.

Michigan fell well short of cashing, though, as 12.5-point favorites, in its fourth straight ATS setback. In fact, the Wolverines are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games.

No. 7 seed Purdue (26-8 SU/14-20 ATS) topped No. 6 seed UCLA 73-66 in the second semifinal. The Boilermakers just missed covering as 7.5-point favorites, and they're now 1-6 ATS in their last seven games.

Michigan opened as a 6.5-point favorite vs. Purdue in DraftKings Sportsbook's Big Ten Tournament odds for Sunday's final. As of 10:30 p.m. ET Saturday, the Wolverines haven't moved off -6.5, though they briefly adjusted to -6.5 (-115).

Early spread play is leaning toward Michigan, at 60% of tickets/63% of money.

DraftKings' total saw significant movement in the first few hours Saturday night, dropping from 153.5 to 150.5, with stops at 152.5/151.5. The Under is attracting 71% of early tickets/91% of early money.

Michigan and Purdue met once in the regular season. On Feb. 17, the Wolverines won 91-80 as 2.5-point road favorites.
