Michigan State vs UNC Picks & Prediction

The Spartans and Tar Heels last met in the NCAA Tournament back in 2009 in the title game.

North Carolina took care of Michigan State, 89-72 to capture the championship as the two legendary programs meet in the second round on Saturday.

UNC took care of 16th-seeded Wagner in the first round, marking the program's first tournament win since beating rival Duke in the 2022 Final Four.

Michigan State never trailed in Thursday's 69-51 blowout of Mississippi State as the Spartans limited the Bulldogs to 6-of-27 shooting from downtown.
