SETON HALL PIRATES vs. CREIGHTON BLUEJAYS PREDICTIONS
The Pirates are tied for fifth in the Big East standings at 10-8 straight-up heading into their final game of the regular season. They have bounced back lately with a modest four-game winning streak that includes a SU win against Xavier on Feb. 26 as 4.5-point road underdogs. They also hammered Creighton by 19 points in the first meeting on Feb. 4 closing as five-point favorites at home.
Creighton is tied for third in the current conference standings at 12-6 SU. They have won 11 of 14 home games this season SU with Wednesday’s two-point victory against Connecticut as a four-point underdog. This win helped the Bluejays lock-in the No. 3 seed for next week’s Big East Tournament with the season sweep over the Huskies.
This has been one of the tightest series in the Big East the past few seasons and both teams matchup well for Saturday’s game as well. Creighton gets my lean at home given the desire to avenge the lopsided loss in the first meeting. My best bet for this game would be the UNDER on the total line. Current betting trends on both sides favor a lower scoring game than the total line suggests.
