It's pretty much a formality, but the Gonzaga Bulldogs have officially punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament after pushing past the Saint Mary's Gaels by an 82-69 count in the conference tournament game. The Zags were considered an overwhelming 4-to-1 favorite, or -400, to pick up the hardware in Las Vegas, and they did just that without breaking much of a sweat.

The good news for the Gaels is that they're almost assuredly headed for an at-large bid, as the WCC will easily be a two-bid league. Gonzaga wins the WCC tourney for the third consecutive season, and the ninth time in the past 10 years. It took two victories over San Francisco and Saint Mary's to get the trophy, with the Bulldogs failing to cover against the Dons, while pushing at most shops against the Gaels.

The general consensus is that Gonzaga is a shoe-in for one of the four 1-seeds in the NCAA Tournament, and it might be considered the No. 1 overall seed in the tourney.
