7:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Shortly before kickoff, Clemson is a 12.5-point favorite at BetMGM Nevada. The Tigers opened -12 back in June, got to -13 in late August and backed up to -12.5 today.

"Sharp play on Duke +13," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said. "We're still at 12.5, but it looks like there are mostly 12s out there. Tickets are 3/1 in favor Clemson, but money is 2/1 in favor of Duke."

The Blue Devils took a low-six-figure bet at +13 and a low-six-figure moneyline bet at +375.

"Obviously, we need Clemson to at least win," Shelton said.

The total opened at 57.5 and hits its floor today at 54.5.

"Pretty even on tickets, a few more on the Over. Just over 2/1 money on the Under. Sharp play all the way down," Shelton said.

12:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: In the final game on the college football Week 1 odds board, Clemson is a 13-point chalk at BetMGM. The Tigers opened -12 back in May and have been pinned to -13 in recent weeks.

Point-spread ticket count and dollars are both running 4/1 on Clemson. Further, the Tigers are getting the bulk of moneyline play, despite a price ranging from the -450 opener to the current -500. Clemson is seeing 57% of moneyline tickets, and those bets are translating into 88% of moneyline dollars.

BetMGM opened the total at 57.5 and bottomed out at 55.5, where the number has been since Aug. 26. That said, 57% of tickets/75% of dollars are on the Over.

UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Clemson opened -12 at The SuperBook and has made a couple stops at -12.5 and -13. The Tigers are currently -13 in The SuperBook's college football odds Week 1 market.

"More tickets and money on Clemson as of right now. I think we will continue to see that betting pattern continue up until kickoff on Monday night," Degnon said. "Clemson is always a popular team among the public. Not a ton of action on the total, but we did take some respected money on Over 55."

That sharp play came Wednesday, when the total hit its low point after opening at 57.5. It's now at 56.

UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Like Alabama, Clemson found itself in the unusual spot last year of missing the College Football Playoff. The Tigers drilled North Carolina 39-10 in the ACC final, but with two losses prior to that, it wasn't enough to get a CFP bid.

Clemson finished 11-3 SU/7-7 ATS after a 31-14 Orange Bowl loss as 4-point favorites vs. Tennessee.

Meanwhile, Duke put together a solid season by its standards, going 9-4 SU and ATS. The Blue Devils won five of their last six SU and were 6-1 ATS in their last seven games. In the Military Bowl vs. Central Florida, Duke rolled to a 30-13 victory giving 3 points.

Clemson opened -13 on TwinSpires' college football Week 0 odds board. The line initially fell to -12.5, but it's now back at -13. Ticket count and money are approaching 2/1 on the Tigers.

"It's steady Clemson money. I don't expect that to change," Lucas said. "There's some buyback on Duke +13."

The total hasn't moved, with 55% of early tickets/59% of early cash on the Over.
