USC vs No. 6 Oregon Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Oregon -15.5
  • Opening moneyline: Oregon -860/USC +565
  • Opening total: Over/Under 73.5 points scored
  • Time: 10:30 p.m. ET Saturday (FOX)

UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Kickoff is still two hours away, in one of the day's last games. Or what would often be called "the get-even or get-even-deeper game" by Jay Rood, former head of race and sports for MGM Resorts.

At BetMGM Nevada, Oregon is 16.5-point chalk. The Ducks opened -15.5 and fell back to -14.5 Thursday, then climbed to -15.5 Friday and -16.5 this afternoon.

"A ton of tickets on each side, a handful more on Oregon. Money is 8/1 on Oregon, including a $55,000 bet at -15.5," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said. "They are playing USC on the moneyline, 9/1 tickets and 2/1 money. They're also pounding the Over. Tickets are 5/1 and money almost 8/1."

BetMGM Nevada opened the total at 73.5 and made its way 77.5 by this afternoon, with stops all along the way throughout the week. Late this afternoon, the number dipped to 76.5 (Over -115), but it's now back at 77.5.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Oregon opened -14.5 (-105) Sunday night at PointsBet and dropped down to -14 (-115) within a few minutes. But over the following couple hours, the Ducks climbed to -15.5.

On Monday, the Ducks receded to -15, where they remain tonight. Point-spread splits are rather unusual, with 54% of bets on Southern Cal/92% of money on Oregon.

The total spent most of the week at 73.5 before stretching out to 75 this afternoon. Ticket count is 4/1 and money beyond 9/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Oregon (8-1 SU/7-1-1 ATS) has three straight wins since a tight loss at Washington, and is one of the nation's top spread-covering outfits. In Week 10, the Ducks hammered California 63-19 as 27-point home favorites.

By contrast, USC continues to go the wrong way, like John Candy in Plains, Trains and Automobiles. The Trojans (7-3 SU/2-8 ATS) dropped three of their last four SU and are on an 0-7 SU landslide. In Week 10, Southern Cal was a 3-point home 'dog vs. Washington and lost in a shootout 52-42.

The Ducks inched down a half-point to -15 at TwinSpires. Oregon is seeing 54% of spread tickets, while 55% of spread money is on Southern Cal.

"Good two-way action so far. It's our second-most-bet game, behind Michigan-Penn State," Lucas said.

It's another big total in the Pac-12, at 73.5. Early ticket count is 3/1 and early money almost 4/1 on the Over. The Washington-USC total closed at 76.5 and overshot that by late in the third quarter.

"The public saw what USC did last week. They're expecting another Pac-12 shootout," Lucas said.

UPDATE 6:15 P.M. ET SATURDAY: With 45 minutes until kickoff, BetMGM Nevada has Georgia -10.5 (-120). The line has been Bulldogs -10.5 at various juice all week, never moving off the number.

"Tickets approaching 2/1 and money also 2/1 on Georgia," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said of action solely in the sportsbook's Las Vegas market. "They are playing Mississippi on the moneyline +340, 3.5/1 tickets and 3/1 money. A Georgia win and Mississippi cover would be ideal.

"But even if Mississippi wins outright, we're good. That would bust up moneyline parlays, teasers, all that."

Shelton said the total is stapled to 58.5 and seeing good two-way action.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: PointsBet toggled the Bulldogs between -11 and -10.5 multiple times so far this week and is currently at -11. The underdog Rebels are landing 60% of early spread bets/72% of early spread cash.

"Bettors are slightly favoring Ole Miss in this matchup, as we have a small liability on both Ole Miss moneyline and spread. They also anticipate a lower-scoring game, with bettors favoring the under," PointsBet trader Will Radice said. "Georgia hasn't lost at home since 2019, but with Brock Bowers still questionable, bettors are hoping Ole Miss can come away with an upset against the AP No. 1 Bulldogs."

PointsBet's total opened at 59 and bottomed out briefly at 57.5 Wednesday, then went to 58. The Over is getting 56% of bets, but 72% of cash is on the Under.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Georgia (9-0 SU/3-6 ATS) got a stern test from Missouri, but survived to stay unbeaten. The Bulldogs notched a 30-21 victory, failing to cash as 14-point home faves.

Ole Miss (8-1 SU/6-2-1 ATS) let leads of 14-0 and 28-14 slip away against Texas A&M. Ultimately, the Rebels got a late touchdown to squeak out a 38-35 home win giving 3 points at home.

TwinSpires pushed Georgia from -11 to -11.5. Ole Miss is seeing 61% of early spread bets, while 55% of early spread cash is on Georgia.

"The public is grabbing the points so far. Ole Miss moneyline is also quite popular," Lucas said. "It's early, but we'll need Georgia to at least win this game to avoid paying out +360 on the 'dog."

The total moved from 58.5 to 59.

BetMGM's total opened 58.5 and stuck there all week until climbing to 60.5 this afternoon. The Over is landing 77% of tickets/85% of money.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Oklahoma (7-2 SU/6-3 ATS) has hit the skids of late, dumping two in a row SU and ATS after getting into the CFP picture. In Week 10, the Sooners closed as 6-point road favorites against Oklahoma State and lost 27-24.

West Virginia (6-3 SU and ATS) rolled past BYU 37-7 as 12.5-point home chalk.

The Sooners quickly moved from -11 to -11.5 Sunday afternoon at Caesars, then went to -12.5 this morning and -13 this afternoon.

UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: An hour before kickoff, Texas is 12.5-point chalk at BetMGM Nevada. The Longhorns opened -10 and initially backed up to -9.5, then steadily made their way to -12.5 by Thursday afternoon.

"Tickets 4/1 and money 10/1 on Texas. Nothing really big, either. The biggest bet is $11,000. There are just a lot of tickets on Texas," Shelton said.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM moved the Longhorns from -10 to 9.5 (-115) Monday, returned to -10 Wednesday and stretched to -11.5/-12.5 Thursday. Those last two moves were in the wake of Texas QB Quinn Ewers (shoulder) being cleared to play after missing two games.

Spread tickets are running 2.5/1 and spread money almost 9/1 on the Longhorns.

The Ewers news also impacted the total, which jumped from 53.5 straight to 55 Thursday. Ticket count is 2/1 and money 6/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Texas held a 27-7 third-quarter lead, but turnovers allowed Kansas State to get back into the game. The Longhorns gave up all of that lead, with the game tied at 30 to end regulation. But Texas (8-1 SU/4-5 ATS) prevailed 33-30 in overtime as a 3.5-point home favorite.

TCU is in a 1-4 SU and ATS rut. In Week 10, the Horned Frogs (4-5 SU/3-6 ATS) were 2.5-point pups at Texas Tech and lost 35-28.

The Texas-TCU spread and total are stable this afternoon at Caesars Sports.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Ohio State was rather uninspired in the first half of its Week 10 game at Rutgers, trailing 9-7 at the break. But the Buckeyes (9-0 SU/4-4-1 ATS) picked it up in the second half to score a 35-16 victory, pushing as 19-point favorites.

Michigan State snapped a six-game SU slide (1-4-1 ATS) with a 20-17 victory over Nebraska. The Spartans (3-6 SU/4-4-1 ATS) cashed as 3-point home pups.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: LSU (6-3 SU/5-4 ATS) gave it a good go at Alabama, taking a 28-21 third-quarter lead. But stud QB Jayden Daniels exited early in the fourth quarter due to concussion protocol, and the Tigers didn't add another point.

Coach Brian Kelly's troops ended up losing 42-28 as 3-point road underdogs.

Florida (5-4 SU/3-6 ATS) was in a back-and-forth fight with visiting Arkansas throughout the Week 10 clash. The game went to overtime tied at 33, and the Gators lost 39-36 in the extra frame as 3-point favorites.

Duke (6-3 SU/4-5 ATS) was ranked for much of the season, before back-to-back losses to solid Florida State and Louisville outfits. In the 23-0 setback at Louisville, the Blue Devils lost QB Riley Leonard to a toe injury.

Leonard didn't play in Week 10 vs. Wake Forest and likely won't play this week. The Blue Devils earned a 24-21 win over Wake, but failed to cover as 6.5-point home faves.

The Duke-Carolina line has been a big mover early in Caesars' college football odds Week 11 market. The Tar Heels jumped straight from -9.5 to -11 Sunday evening, then today advanced to -11.5 and -12.

The Cowboys are drawing 64% of spread tickets, while 55% of spread money is on the Knights.

BetMGM's total moved from 64.5 to 65.5 Thursday, with interesting splits: 55% of tickets are on the Under, but 90% of cash is on the Over.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Oklahoma State (7-2 SU/6-3 ATS) got a big Week 10 upset to stretch its win streak to 5-0 SU and ATS. The Cowboys held off Oklahoma 27-24 as 6-point home pups.

Central Florida (4-5 SU/3-6 ATS) edged Cincinnati 28-26 in Week 10, but didn't cover as 3.5-point road chalk. While the victory ended a five-game SU skid, the Knights are still 1-5 ATS in their last six games.

Caesars Sports' first move came within an hour of opening Sunday, with the Cowboys dipping to -2.5.

Oregon State is taking 53% of bets/87% of spread money.

The total dipped from 54.5 to 52.5 late this morning. Ticket count is 5/1 and money 4/1 on the Under.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Oregon State (7-2 SU/5-4 ATS) beat Colorado 26-19, but couldn't cash as a 12.5-point road favorite. The Beavers led 23-5 in the fourth quarter, but gave up a pair of TDs.

No. 21 Arizona vs Colorado Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline

  • Time: 2 p.m. ET Saturday (Pac-12 Network)

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET SATURDAY: BetMGM opened Arizona as 10-point road chalk and went to -10.5 Monday. On Thursday, the Wildcats returned to -10, then this morning went to -9.5 (-115) and -9.5 flat.

It's two-way spread play with a lean toward Arizona, at 53% of tickets/57% of money. But per usual this season, moneyline action is heavy to Coach Prime and the Buffaloes. Colorado is attracting 86% of moneyline tickets/87% of moneyline dollars.

Asked if an Arizona win/Colorado cover would be the ideal outcome, BetMGM's Seamus Magee said: "That would be correct."

BetMGM's total opened at 55, fell to 53.5 Monday, then rebounded to 55.5 by Wednesday. The number dipped to 54 briefly, then went to 54.5, and it moved to 55.5 (Under -105) today. Current splits aren't available.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: PointsBet moved from Arizona -10 to -9.5 and back to -10, all within a few hours Sunday night. The Wildcats then advanced to -10.5 Monday afternoon and stuck there until returning to -10 this morning.

Despite Coach Prime and Colorado struggling for several weeks, the Buffs are still taking 65% of spread tickets and 96% of spread dollars so far. But moneyline bettors at PointsBet have jumped off the Deion Sanders bandwagon, at least as of this evening. Arizona is getting 79% of tickets/62% of cash on the moneyline.

The total opened at 55.5, tumbled to 53 (Over -115) by Monday afternoon, then made its way back to 55 by Tuesday evening. The number crept down to 54.5 this morning, with 74% of tickets/61% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET TUESDAY: Colorado was an early-season public darling, but now is unlikely to even reach .500 and earn a bowl bid. The Buffaloes are on a 1-5 SU purge and sit at 4-5 SU overall (5-3-1 ATS).

In Week 10, Coach Prime's troops trailed Oregon State 23-5 early in the fourth quarter. The Buffs got a couple late TDs to cover the 12.5-point spread, but still lost 26-19 at home.

On the flip side, Arizona is on a roll, breaking into the Top 25 this week. The Wildcats have won three in a row SU, all vs. ranked teams, and are on a 5-0 ATS surge. Arizona is 6-3 SU/8-1 ATS, tied with UNLV for the best spread-covering mark in the nation.

The Wildcats were 2.5-point home 'dogs vs. UCLA in Week 10 and rolled to a 27-10 victory.

On Sunday afternoon, Caesars Sports opened Arizona -8.5, and the line sprinted to -10 within an hour. By Monday afternoon, the 'Cats were out to -10.5. The total has gone the other way, opening at 56 and getting as low as 53.5 twice in the past 48 hours. It's now at 54.5.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: James Madison (9-0 SU/6-3 ATS) is on a 6-1 spread-covering run. In Week 10, the Dukes drilled Georgia State 42-14 as 6-point road faves.

On the flip side, UConn (1-8 SU/4-5 ATS) got shellacked at Tennessee 59-3 getting 34 points.

James Madison has already slid down 1.5 points to -25 at Caesars.

The Dukes are ranked in the AP poll, but since they are in the second year of the required two-year transition period to FBS, they can't be ranked in the CFP. Which is ridiculous, but that's college football for you. James Madison is currently appealing to the NCAA to grant the school an exception.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET TUESDAY: Liberty – or Liberty biberty, as I'm sure some of you catch yourselves saying – is plowing through Conference USA, at 9-0 SU and a solid 7-2 ATS. In Week 10, the Flames hung a 50-plus burger on Louisiana Tech, winning 56-30 as 14-point home favorites.

Liberty is No. 25 in the AP poll, but is not in the CFP rankings.

Old Dominion (4-5 SU/6-3 ATS) is coming off a 28-24 loss laying 1 point at home to Coastal Carolina. That ended a four-game spread-covering run for the Monarchs.

UPDATE 11:15 A.M. ET SATURDAY: Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh will not be on the sideline today. He was suspended by the the Big Ten for the final three regular-season games Friday, and his hearing to get a temporary restraining order won't be until next Friday.

Caesars Sports opened Michigan -4 Sunday, stretched to -5 a couple times early in the week, then got to -5.5 Thursday. In the wake of Harbaugh's suspension Friday, the line went to Wolverines -4.5 (-115). And it's been bouncing around this morning, up to Michigan -5.5 (-115), back down to -4.5, and now at -5 (-115).

All that noted, Michigan is landing 66% of spread tickets/55% of spread money.

UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The past hour brought news that the Big Ten suspended Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh from the game-day sideline for the last three regular-season contests. At BetMGM, that did nothing to the number for Saturday's showdown, with the Wolverines remaining -4.5, where they've been almost all week.

"We're holding the line as it is right now and seeing what sharp money tells us," BetMGM trading team lead Seamus Magee said. "It's not the first time they've had to play without Harbaugh on the sidelines. Granted, the competition stunk, but they still boat-raced them easily."

That would be in Games 1-3 this season, when Harbaugh sat out for a university-imposed suspension. Michigan outscored East Carolina, UNLV and Bowling Green by a combined 96-16.

BetMGM opened Michigan -5.5 and went to -4.5 within a few hours Sunday night. This morning, prior to the Harbaugh news, spread ticket count was 3/1 and spread money 2/1 Michigan at BetMGM.

As of now, almost every sportsbook is at Michigan -4.5, though DraftKings has the Wolverines -4 (-115).

BetMGM's total opened at 43.5 and has been at 45.5 (Under -115) since Wednesday. As of this morning, the Over was getting 61% of tickets, while 64% of money was on the Under.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Michigan opened -5 Sunday night at PointsBet and within a few hours dipped to -4.5. There's been no movement since, and the Wolverines are plenty popular on the spread. Michigan is attracting 77% of early bets/88% of early dollars.

The total climbed from 43.5 to 46 by Tuesday afternoon, with multiple stops along the way. On Wednesday afternoon, it fell back to 45, where it remains tonight. And the splits are quite interesting: 58% of bets on the Over, but a whopping 94% of money on the Under early on.

"People remember the Penn State-Ohio State game a few weeks ago, when [Penn State QB] Drew Allar had a poor showing against a strong defense," trader Wyatt Satre said in PointsBet's Hustle daily newsletter.

Indeed, the Nittany Lions mustered just two field goals the whole game before a too-little-too-late touchdown with 29 seconds left in a 20-12 road loss.

"Ohio State is third in college football in points allowed per drive. Michigan is even better. The Wolverines are No. 1 in that metric," Satre said. "The total was originally bet up from 43.5 to 46, but then we started seeing sharper action. Now, the total has been sitting at 45 for the past 24 hours or so."

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Michigan (9-0 SU/4-4-1 ATS) had much less trouble on the field with Purdue than off the field with its sign-stealing allegations. The Wolverines posted a 41-13 victory, but couldn't cover the hefty as 31-point faves.

Penn State (8-1 SU/7-2 ATS) can ill afford another loss, and played like it in Week 10. The Nittany Lions rolled over Maryland 51-15 laying 7.5 points on the highway.

The Wolverines are already down a notch at TwinSpires Sportsbook, from -5.5 to -5. Michigan is taking 64% of early spread tickets, while 58% of early spread money is on Penn State.

"Sharp play on Penn State +5.5 at the open. The public, as usual, is siding with Michigan," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

The total ticked from 43.5 to 44, with 61% of early tickets/66% of early money on the Over.

The Crimson Tide are taking 77% of spread bets, but just 54% of spread dollars at Caesars.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM opened the Crimson Tide -11 and has been nailed to -10.5 since Monday morning. Alabama is currently -10.5 (-115), with ticket count 3/1 and money a hefty 9/1 on Nick Saban's squad.

In fact, by spread money count, Alabama is the most-bet team in BetMGM's college football odds Week 11 market. And 'Bama is taking the second-most spread tickets this week, behind only Michigan. Further, by ticket count, Kentucky-Alabama game is the second-most-bet college football game this week, trailing only Michigan-Penn State.

Bettors are also laying the -450 on Alabama moneyline, with tickets almost 2/1 and money 5/1-plus on the Tide.

The total fell from 49.5 to 46.5 by midweek, touching multiple numbers and at various juice along the way. It's now at 47, with ticket count almost even and money 2/1-plus on the Under.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Alabama remains firmly in the College Football Playoff odds picture, after an impressive Week 10 win. The Crimson Tide (8-1 SU/6-3 ATS) topped LSU 42-28, scoring the final 21 points of the game as 3-point home favorites.

Kentucky (6-3 SU/5-4 ATS) halted an 0-3 SU and ATS purge in Week 10. The Wildcats coasted by Mississippi State 24-3 laying 5.5 points on the road.

TwinSpires moved the Crimson Tide from -10.5 to -11 today. Kentucky is drawing 55% of spread bets, while 64% of spread money is on 'Bama early on.

"We saw two large wagers come in on Alabama -10.5 early today," Lucas said. "There's some regional bias on Kentucky, so I expect we'll see this handle even out a bit."

A significant amount of TwinSpires' operation is in Kentucky.

The total fell from 49 to 48.5 early, with 55% of bets/58% of cash on the Under.

Interestingly, Texas Tech-Kansas is the third-most-bet college football game this week at BetMGM. Further, Kansas has taken the third-most spread tickets – behind Michigan and Alabama – and third-most spread money – behind Alabama, then Michigan.

BetMGM's total opened at 60.5, went to 61.5 (Under -115) Wednesday and 62 Thursday. The Over is getting 78% of bets/91% of money so far.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Kansas (7-2 SU/5-4 ATS) avoided the letdown following its Week 9 upset of Oklahoma. The Jayhawks were actually 2.5-point road 'dogs against Iowa State in Week 10, but claimed a 28-21 victory.

Texas Tech (4-5 SU and ATS) topped TCU 35-28 giving 2.5 points at home.

Neither the line nor total have moved in Caesars' college football odds Week 11 market.

  • Opening total: Over/Under 53.5 points scored

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Tulane opened as 22.5-point chalk at BetMGM and moved to -23.5 Thursday. Ticket count is almost dead even, and 62% of money is on the Green Wave.

The total opened at 53.5, inched down 53 for an hour Wednesday afternoon, then returned to 53.5. The Over is taking 55% of tickets and a hefty 92% of the money.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: As good as Tulane is on the field, at 8-1 SU, the Green Wave aren't nearly as good at the betting window, at 3-6 ATS. In Week 10, Tulane barely escaped East Carolina with a 13-10 win giving 17 points.

Tulsa (3-6 SU/2-6-1 ATS) is on an 0-4 SU and ATS slide. The Golden Hurricane, laying 4 points at home, lost to Charlotte 33-26 in overtime

The total opened at 50.5 and quickly moved to 51.5 Sunday night. The number returned to 50.5 Monday afternoon and stuck there until dipping 50 this afternoon. Contrary to the move down, ticket count is 2.5/1 and money almost 8/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Louisville (8-1 SU/5-3-1 ATS) had zero issues with Virginia Tech in Week 10. The Cardinals rolled to a 34-3 victory as 9-point home favorites.

Virginia has been awful on the field at 2-7 SU, but pretty good at the betting window at 6-3 ATS. In Week 10, however, the Cavaliers weren't good in either spot, losing 45-17 as 1-point home faves against Georgia Tech.

Caesars hasn't moved off its Sunday opener of Louisville -20, but the total inched down to 51 this afternoon.
