2024 College Football Odds for Week 11
BYU vs. Utah Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Utah vs
BYU | +3 (-110)
-3 (-110) | o40.5 (-112)
u40.5 (-108) | +124 -148 |
- Opening point spread: BYU -3.5
- Opening moneyline: BYU -190/Utah +155
- Opening total: Over/Under 42.5 points scored
- Time: 10:15 p.m. ET Saturday (ESPN)
UPDATE 7 P.M. ET SATURDAY: BYU is -3.5 (-105) at BetMGM, with kickoff about three hours out. The Cougars opened -3.5, peaked at -4.5 Sunday night and bottomed out at -3 on Thursday.
Early this morning, BYU went to -3.5 (even), then a little later went to -3.5 (-105).
"We actually look pretty balanced, regardless of the score. It's a decent looking book," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
The total dipped from 42.5 to 41.5 Monday and 40.5 Tuesday, with Magee saying sharp Under plays led to those moves. But there's not much of a decision on the total.
UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: BYU hit Fanatics Sportsbook's college football Week 11 odds board as a 4-point favorite. The line spent time at Cougars -3.5 and is went to -3 this afternoon.
Point-spread splits are quite skewed. BYU is seeing 54% of tickets, but that's translating into 95% of money. But there's a reason for that.
"The lopsided handle number on BYU has just been propped up by a couple of bigger bets," Fanatics Sportsbook senior editor Max Meyer said. "Even though this is an undefeated team laying a shorter number, I think it’s close in tickets because some bettors see value in taking the points with a low total in a major rivalry game.
"It also doesn’t hurt that you have one of the nation’s better coaches in Kyle Whittingham, with extra prep time off a bye.”
Meyer added that when the line was at 4, Utah was taking more tickets and money.
UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: BYU is now atop the Big 12 and has an even better path to the CFP than Colorado. The ninth-ranked Cougars (8-0 SU/7-1 ATS) dumped Central Florida 37-24 as 2.5-point road underdogs in Week 9. BYU had a bye in Week 10.
Utah (4-4 SU/2-6 ATS) was among the preseason favorites to win the Big 12. But the Utes' season has been a huge disappointment. That's largely due to starting QB Cam Rising playing in just three of the first six games before his year was declared over from a leg injury.
Utah had a bye in Week 10, following a 17-14 loss to Houston as 5-point road chalk. The Utes are on a season-killing 0-4 SU and ATS purge.
All that noted, BYU is only a 4-point road favorite in TwinSpires Sportsbook's college football odds Week 10 market. The Cougars opened -3.5 and briefly got to -4.5 today. Early spread ticket count is 2.5/1 and early spread money 4/1 on BYU.
"It's BYU for the most part. This will very likely be a top-three liability for us on Saturday," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
The total is steady at 42.5, with 54% of tickets/59% of money on the Over.
Alabama vs. LSU Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
LSU vs
Alabama | +3 (-118)
-3 (-102) | o59 (-112)
u59 (-108) | +120 -142 |
- Opening point spread: Alabama -2.5
- Opening moneyline: Alabama -125/LSU +105
- Opening total: Over/Under 57.5 points scored
- Time: 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ABC)
UPDATE 6:15 P.M. ET SATURDAY: With 75 minutes until kickoff, the Crimson Tide are 2.5-point favorites at BetMGM. That matches the opening number in Week 11 college football odds, after the line spent most of the week at Alabama -3.
"The book looks fairly balanced, the closer we get to kickoff," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said. "LSU was getting money all week, but 'Bama bettors have shown up today. LSU outright is now a good result for the book.
"But if 'Bama wins, we're gonna want it to be by more than 3. Alabama winning by 3 on the number looks like our worst spot right now."
Magee cautioned that this could all change by kickoff in Baton Rouge.
"There's still plenty of action to come in, to sway this either way," he said.
BetMGM opened the total at 57.5 and has been steady much of the week at 58.5.
"It's nothing too big, but we'd prefer Under 58.5," Magee said.
UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Fanatics Sportsbook has Alabama at -2.5 (-115), after opening at -2.5 flat and spending almost all week at -3. However, home 'dog LSU is netting 64% of early tickets/74% of early money.
Further, there are more moneyline bets on LSU (currently +115) than any other team in the college football odds Week 11 market.
"Early Alabama money brought this line to 3. But since then, it’s been strong action on LSU," Fanatics senior editor Max Meyer said. "This is basically a CFP elimination game, and this could be one where bettors are siding with the home-field advantage.
"Alabama’s two losses this season have come away from home, as have LSU’s. Looking at spread and moneyline action combined in the key SEC games, Georgia, Ole Miss and LSU all have at least 2.5 times more handle than Alabama."
The total opened at 60.5, bottomed out at 57.5 and is now 58.5. The Over is getting hammered, at 84% of tickets/90% of money.
"There's a lot of action on that Over. I think this one's gonna be a shootout, as well. It's prime time in Death Valley," Fanatics trader Ty Gour said.
UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Alabama (6-2 SU/4-4 ATS) earned a thrilling Week 5 victory over Georgia, then lost two of its next four games. But the Crimson Tide got back on track in Week 9 with a 34-0 wipeout of Missouri as 15.5-point home favorites
No. 11 Alabama is well rested, coming off a bye ahead of this prime-time showdown in Baton Rouge.

LSU (6-2 SU/3-5 ATS) is also coming off a bye, after a disappointing loss in Week 9. The Tigers tumbled to Texas A&M 38-23 catching 1.5 points on the road. That ended a six-game winning streak for No. 14 LSU.
Neither 'Bama nor LSU can afford another loss. TwinSpires opened the Tide -2.5 and is up to -3 in college football Week 10 odds. LSU is getting 52% of early spread tickets, while 53% of early spread money is on Alabama.
"Great two-way action so far. Some sharp play on 'Bama -2.5," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
Colorado vs. Texas Tech Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Texas Tech vs
Colorado | +4.5 (-110)
-4.5 (-110) | o62 (-112)
u62 (-108) | +164 -198 |
- Opening point spread: Colorado -2.5
- Opening moneyline: Colorado -150/Texas Tech +125
- Opening total: Over/Under 62.5 points scored
- Time: 4 p.m. ET Saturday (FOX)
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Colorado is laying 4.5 points in Fanatics Sportsbook's college football Week 10 odds. The Buffs opened at -3.5, and the movement to -4.5 came in the last 24 hours.
That said, it's two-way spread play, with 53% of tickets on Texas Tech and money running dead even. Moneyline action is two-way, as well, at 51% tickets Red Raiders/59% money Buffaloes.
"Colorado in the Deion Sanders era is so fascinating from a betting perspective," Fanatics Sportsbook senior editor Max Meyer said. "Bettors couldn’t get enough of Colorado last season when it was pretty clear how flawed they were. Now, the Buffaloes are legit, and the level of betting interest on them is nowhere near where it was last year.
"Among the 38 teams playing in the 19 top-25 games this week, Colorado has the 17th-most spread tickets."
The total opened at 63 and is now 62.5, but it's all Over action, at 82% of tickets/91% of cash.
UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Believe it or not, Colorado (6-2 SU and ATS) has a viable path to the College Football Playoff. Coach Prime & Co. are in the running for the Big 12 title.
The Buffaloes had a bye in Week 10, after a 34-23 Week 9 home victory giving 6 points vs. Cincinnati. No. 21 Colorado is on a 5-1 SU/6-0 ATS surge.
Texas Tech (6-3 SU/5-3-1 ATS) actually helped Colorado in Week 10. The Red Raiders went to Iowa State as 13.5-point underdogs and squeaked out a 23-22 upset. Tech won by stopping a 2-point attempt after a late Cyclones touchdown.

The Red Raiders' win knocked previously unbeaten Iowa State out of the top spot in the Big 12.
Colorado opened -2.5 and advanced to -3/-3.5 in TwinSpires Sportsbook's Week 11 college football odds. The Buffs are taking 58% of spread bets/78% of spread money, and moneyline action is much more lopsided.
"Colorado continues to be a thorn in our side this season. Colorado moneyline is already 5/1 tickets and 9/1 money," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
The total hasn't moved off 62.5, with 65% of bets/58% of money on the over early on.
Georgia vs. Ole Miss Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Ole Miss vs
Georgia | +2.5 (-115)
-2.5 (-115) | o55.5 (-115)
u55.5 (-115) | +110 -140 |
- Opening point spread: Georgia -3.5
- Opening moneyline: Georgia -145/Ole Miss +120
- Opening total: Over/Under 54.5 points scored
- Time: 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ABC)
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: An hour before kickoff, Georgia is laying 2 points in BetMGM's college football odds Week 11 market. The line opened Bulldogs -3.5 and spent most of the week at -2.5, at various juice, but fell to -1.5 Friday.
This morning, the number advanced to Georgia -2. Contrary to the movement, though, it's heavy Bulldogs play.
"We're gonna need Ole Miss. That's probably the need of the day," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
The total is at 53.5, down from the 54.5 opener and 55.5 high point. But Magee indicated the need on the total is minor.
UPDATE 4 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Georgia has been pinned to -2.5 since Monday in Fanatics Sportsbook's Week 11 college football odds. That's down a half-point from the Bulldogs -3 opener.
That said, Kirby Smart's squad is attracting 80% of early spread tickets/93% of early spread money.
“Georgia spread is bringing in the most money of any bet for this game, and it has basically all come in when the line has been 2.5,” Fanatics Sportsbook senior editor Max Meyer said. “But there has been extremely lopsided action on Ole Miss when this line has been up at 3. Basically, that half-point will determine which team we see the action coming in on.”
And when you combine straight spread bets with spread parlay play on Georgia: "It's 94% of money on the Bulldogs to cover, and 86% of tickets," Fanatics trader Ty Gour said.
On the moneyline, it's 65% tickets Georgia/58% money Ole Miss. But that money on the Rebels isn't keeping pace with Bulldogs spread cash.
"There has been a little over 7.5 times more money on Georgia spread compared to Ole Miss moneyline," Meyer said.
UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Georgia (7-1 SU/2-6 ATS) is ranked No. 2 in the AP poll, but continues to be one of the worst spread-covering teams in the nation. In Week 10, the Bulldogs closed as 14.5-point favorites vs. Florida and were in a dogfight most of the way.
Georgia ultimately pulled away to win 34-20, but failed to cover. The Bulldogs are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games.
Ole Miss (7-2 SU/6-3 ATS) definitely can't take another loss. The Rebels tuned up nicely in Week 10, blasting Arkansas 63-31 as 7.5-point road favorites. That halted a 1-3 ATS stretch for No. 16 Mississippi.

Georgia is down to -2.5 vs. Ole Miss, after opening -3.5 in TwinSpires Sportsbook's college football odds Week 11 market. The Bulldogs are seeing 58% of early spread tickets, while 60% of early spread money is on the Rebels.
"Sharp play on Ole Miss +3.5," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
The total opened and remains 54.5, with tickets almost dead even and 59% of money on the Under.
Michigan vs. Indiana Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Indiana vs
Michigan | -14.5 (-108)
+14.5 (-112) | o47.5 (-112)
u47.5 (-108) | -650 +470 |
- Opening point spread: Indiana -12.5
- Opening moneyline: Indiana -575/Michigan +425
- Opening total: Over/Under 49.5 points scored
- Time: 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday (CBS)
UPDATE 2:45 P.M. ET SATURDAY: With 45 minutes until kickoff, Indiana is hefty 14.5-point chalk on BetMGM's Week 11 college football odds board. The Hoosiers opened -12.5 and advanced to -13.5/-14 within a few hours Sunday.
The line went to Indiana -14.5 Monday and stuck there all week, at various juice. It's now -14.5 flat.
"Sharps bet Indiana from -12.5 up to -14.5. And there's been pretty steady action on Indiana all week. We're gonna need Michigan," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
The total toggled between 49.5/48.5 during the week, and it just dipped to 47.5. But Magee said no concerning decision there.
UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Indiana is out to -14.5 from a -11.5 opener in Fanatics Sportsbook's college football odds Week 11 market. The Hoosiers are landing 72% of spread bets/81% of spread cash.
"This is the most popular game on the slate. Indiana is the second-most-popular parlay pick." Fanatics trader Ty Gour said. "Michigan is just not very good."
Gour added that Indiana is the most popular parlay pick in Week 11.
Fanatics opened the total at 47 and is up to 49.5, with 80% of tickets and 93% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Yes, it's a nearly two-touchdown spread in this game. But with Indiana's unexpected huge success this season, the eighth-ranked Hoosiers had to be included in this report.
Indiana (9-0 SU/8-1 ATS) is the best spread-covering outfit in the nation, cashing in its last eight games. In Week 10, the Hoosiers let Michigan State get out to a 10-0 lead, but then scored the final 47 points in a 47-10 wipeout laying 7.5 points on the road.

Defending national champion Michigan (5-4 SU/2-7 ATS) is having a very un-Michigan-like season. In Week 10, the Wolverines were catching 14.5 points at home against No. 1 Oregon and lost 38-17.
Michigan is on skids of 1-3 SU and 1-4 ATS.
TwinSpires opened Indiana -12.5 and made a stop at -13 on the way to -13.5 (-120). Early ticket count is 2/1 and early money 3/1 on the Hoosiers.
"Lopsided support for Indiana, which has been the norm this year. Michigan will be a big need," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
