• Opening total: Over/Under 43.5 points scored
• Time: Noon ET Saturday (FS1)

UPDATE 11 A.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM pegged Penn State 20.5-point chalk at Sunday's open and is at -20.5 this morning, as well. It's two-way spread play, with 55% of bets on Rutgers/54% of money on Penn State.

The total dropped from 43.5 to 40.5, with 63% of bets/74% of cash on the Under.

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET MONDAY: Penn State (8-2 SU/7-3 ATS) likely saw its Big Ten championship game hopes – and therefore any CFP hopes – go up in smoke against Michigan. The Nittany Lions hung around the whole game, but couldn't get enough offense in a 24-15 loss as 4.5-point home underdogs.

Rutgers (6-4 SU/6-2-2 ATS) got shut out at Iowa, losing 22-0 as a 1.5-point road pup.

Rutgers-Penn State opened at Nittany Lions -19 Sunday afternoon at Caesars, and the line climbed to 19.5/20.5 this morning. Conversely, the total is down 1.5 points to 42.
