The "Land Grant Trophy" will be up for grabs in Week 13 of college football when Penn State meets Michigan State in the Big 10 finale for both schools. Oddsmakers have the Nittany Lions listed as 21-point road favorites over the Spartans. The primetime clash on Friday is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and NBC will provide national coverage in game played at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.

UPDATE 7 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Thirty minutes pre-kick, Penn State is laying 22.5 points in BetMGM's college football odds Week 13 market. The Nittany Lions opened -20, went to -20.5 (-115) Monday, then jumped to -22.5 late Thursday morning.

That noted, it's not overwhelming spread play on Penn State, at 58% of tickets/65% of money.

BetMGM pushed the total from 42.5 to 43.5 (Under -115) Wednesday, then went to 43.5 flat today. The Over is getting 64% of tickets/70% of money.

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET MONDAY: Penn State (9-2 SU/8-3 ATS) dispatched Rutgers 27-6 in Week 12, covering as an 18.5-point favorite.

Michigan State (4-7 SU/5-5-1 ATS) won for the second time in three games, after a six-game losing skid killed its season. The Spartans were 3.5-point 'dogs at Indiana and got a late touchdown to win 24-21.

On Sunday afternoon, Caesars opened Penn State -21 in its college football odds Week 13 market. The Nittany Lions dipped to -20 a few hours later, but returned to -21 this afternoon. The total ticked up to 42.5.
