College football odds for Week 3 are on the board and receiving plenty of attention as we tackle all the major storylines of the weekend. The Central Michigan Chippewas and Notre Dame Fighting Irish meet at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend on Saturday, September 16 at 2:30 p.m. ET on Peacock.

• Opening point spread: Notre Dame -34
• Opening moneyline: Notre Dame TBA/Central Michigan TBA
• Opening total: Over/Under 55 points scored
• Time: 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday (Peacock)

UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM advanced from Fighting Irish -33.5 to -34.5 Tuesday, and the line hasn't moved since. Notre Dame is netting 57% of early spread tickets/76% of early spread cash.

The total is down to 51.5 (Over -115) from a 54.5 opener at BetMGM. That said, tickets are 2/1 and money 3/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET MONDAY: Notre Dame is off to a solid 3-0 SU and ATS start and is a hefty Week 3 chalk. But the Fighting Irish have to guard against looking ahead to a massive Week 4 home game vs. Ohio State.

In Week 2, Notre Dame thumped North Carolina State 45-24 as a 7-point road fave. Meanwhile, Central Michigan (1-1 SU/0-2 ATS) needed a final-seconds field goal to edge FCS foe New Hampshire 45-42 as a 7.5-point home favorite.

Notre Dame initially fell back a point to -33 at Caesars Sports, but returned to the -34 opener this morning.
