No. 15 Oregon State vs California Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Oregon State -10
  • Opening moneyline: Oregon State -350/California +275
  • Opening total: Over/Under 53.5 points scored
  • Time: 10 p.m. ET Saturday (Pac-12 Network)

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Beavers stuck at BetMGM's opener of -9.5 all week. Then this afternoon, the line first adjusted to Oregon State -9.5 (-105) before dipping to -8.5.

Oregon State is getting 64% of early spread bets/58% of early spread money.

The total went from 53.5 to 53 Monday, then to 51.5 Tuesday, and it's been stable since. Ticket count is 3/1 and money 9/1 on the Under. In fact, by ticket count, Oregon State-Cal is the third-most-bet Under this week at BetMGM, behind only Kentucky-Georgia and Notre Dame-Louisville.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Oregon State rebounded nicely from its Week 4 loss at Washington State. Facing No. 10 Utah, yet another solid Pac-12 outfit, the Beavers (4-1 SU/3-2 ATS) claimed a 21-7 home win giving 4 points.

Cal (3-2 SU/2-3 ATS) is on a three-game ATS slide. In Week 5, the Golden Bears edged Arizona State 24-21, but fell well short of covering as 13.5-point home favorites.

Oregon State has already made a couple trips down to -9.5, where the line sits now on Caesars' college football Week 6 odds board.

  • Opening total: Over/Under 72 points scored
  • Time: 10:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ESPN)

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET FRIDAY: With Hawaii not playing this week, Arizona-USC is the last game in the college football odds Week 6 market. Or as some might term it: The get-even or get-even-deeper game.

BetMGM was nailed to Southern Cal -21.5 all week, then in the past hour nudged down to -21. Spread tickets are actually 2/1-plus on underdog Arizona, while spread money is 3/1-plus on USC.

The total dipped from 72.5 to 71.5 Tuesday and hasn't budged since. The Over is netting 58% of tickets/69% of cash at BetMGM.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Southern Cal (5-0 SU/2-3 ATS) led Colorado by 27 points three times, including 48-21 late in the third quarter. Caleb Williams already had six TD passes at that point.

But the Trojans had to hang on for a 48-41 victory, failing to cash as 21.5-point road favorites. It was a bookmaker's delight, as most shops needed a USC win and a Colorado cover, to bust up once-again-massive Buffaloes moneyline action.

Arizona (3-2 SU/4-1 ATS) has been pretty good to spread bettors thus far, with Week 5 another example. The Wildcats spotted No. 7 Washington a 14-0 lead, but stayed within the 20-point spread throughout in a 31-24 loss.

USC climbed to -21.5 and -22 Sunday in Caesars' college football odds Week 6 market. The number backed up a notch this morning to Trojans -21.5.

Georgia Tech vs No. 17 Miami Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Miami -17.5
  • Opening moneyline: Miami -1600/Georgia Tech +900
  • Opening total: Over/Under 59.5 points scored
  • Time: 8 p.m. ET Saturday (ACC Network)

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Hurricanes opened -19.5 at BetMGM, spent most of the week at various iterations of -20.5, then returned to -19.5 this afternoon. Miami is seeing 62% of spread bets/58% of spread dollars.

The total went from 59.5 to 58.5 Monday, then to 57.5 Tuesday, and it hasn't moved since. The Over is taking 59% of bets, while money is almost dead even.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Miami (4-0 SU/3-1 ATS) had a Week 5 bye to prepare for its ACC opener. In Week 4, the Hurricanes breezed to a 41-7 win giving 23.5 points at Temple.

Georgia Tech (2-3 SU and ATS) was dealt a sizable upset in Week 5. The Yellow Jackets, 21-point home favorites vs. Bowling Green, took a 14-0 first quarter lead, then allowed 38 straight points in a 38-27 loss.

This line shot up quickly in Caesars' college football odds Week 6 market. The Hurricanes went from -17.5 to -18 right away Sunday, then advanced to -19 and -20 within a few hours. This morning, Miami moved to -21.

Caesars' total initially dipped a point to 58.5 and is now 59.

No. 24 Fresno State vs Wyoming Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Fresno State -4.5
  • Opening moneyline: Fresno State -250/Wyoming +205
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47 points scored
  • Time: 8 p.m. ET Saturday

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM opened the Bulldogs -6.5 Sunday and got as low as -4.5 on Monday and Thursday. Fresno State is now -5.5 (-115), with ticket count almost 2/1 and money nearing 4/1 on the road favorite.

BetMGM's total tumbled from 47.5 to 43.5 by Wednesday, with multiple stops along the way. That 43.5 lasted just a few minutes before going up to 44.5. But in just the past hour, the total again went to 43.5. Early ticket count is close, with 55% on the Under, but 92% of early money is on the Under.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Fresno State (5-0 SU/3-2 ATS) notched a 27-9 victory at Nevada, but failed to cover a healthy 25.5-point spread in Week 5. Wyoming (4-1 SU/2-2-1 ATS) beat New Mexico 35-26 as a 14.5-point home chalk.

After opening Fresno State -4.5 Sunday afternoon, Caesars jumped to -6.5 within a few hours. The volatile line returned to Bulldogs -4.5 this morning and ultimately settled at -5.

UPDATE 6:15 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Under an hour before kickoff, Georgia is where it's been pretty much all week at BetMGM Nevada: -14.5. The Bulldogs spent 2.5 hours this morning at -14, but otherwise have been at -14.5.

"Tickets about 1.5/1 in favor of Georgia, 2/1 money in favor of Georgia," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said of action solely in BetMGM's Vegas market. "It's virtually all Kentucky on the moneyline, over 10/1 tickets and almost 6/1 money."

Kentucky is +425 to Georgia's -600 on the moneyline.

The total opened at 47.5, peaked at 48.5 early in the week, dipped to 46.5 by this morning and is now back at the 47.5 opener, with the Under -115. Ticket count is 2/1 on the Over, but money is skewed to the Under by a $57,500 Under 47.5 wager at BetMGM Nevada.

UPDATE 5 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Georgia opened -14.5, then had a cup of coffee at -15 (-105) and -15 flat Sunday night at PointsBet. The Bulldogs have spent the rest of the week at -14.5.

Early spread play is quite tilted toward underdog Kentucky, with 79% of tickets/96% of dollars on the Wildcats.

"Georgia head coach Kirby Smart told the media this week that every SEC team should be ranked – perhaps trying to cover up how much his team struggled with South Carolina and Auburn," PointsBet trader Jake Fisher said. "Kentucky dominated Florida in Week 5, and Georgia QB Carson Beck is going to have to play much better, with Kentucky having a top-20 run defense."

PointsBet opened the total at 47.5 (Over -120), reached 49 Tuesday and has since fallen back to 47.5. Ticket count is dead even, and 66% of money is on the Under.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Two-time defending national champion Georgia (5-0 SU/1-4 ATS) keeps winning on the field, but isn't helping out bettors off the field. The Bulldogs found themselves in a 10-0 hole early at Auburn, but ultimately got a 27-20 win, failing to cash as 14-point favorites.

Kentucky is out of the gate at 5-0 SU and a solid 4-1 ATS, as well. In Week 5, against a Florida outfit drawing sharp action, the Wildcats built a 23-0 lead en route to a 33-14 victory as 1-point home favorites.

Georgia moved from -14 to -14.5 on TwinSpires' college football Week 6 odds board. That said, Kentucky is landing 74% of early bets/53% of early cash.

"Kentucky has looked great and is taking a majority of the action vs. an underwhelming Georgia team. We'll likely need the favorite here," Lucas said.

The total went from 48 to 47.5 early, with 58% of bets on the Over/56% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET: BetMGM Nevada had Notre Dame -7 to open, went to -6.5 Monday and briefly to -6 Wednesday. The line then returned to Fighting Irish -6.5 and hasn't moved since.

"Just over 4/1 tickets in favor of Notre Dame, money roughly 1.5/1 on Notre Dame," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said. "This is a very popular teaser game in favor of Notre Dame."

The total went from 52.5 to 54.5 early in the week, then 53.5 Thursday. It's now at 53.5 (Under -115) with what Shelton termed "perfect two-way." Tickets are exactly even, and the Over has $1,000 more.

UPDATE 5 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Notre Dame opened -6.5 (-115) and stretched to -7.5 within 30 minutes Sunday night at PointsBet. But the line reverted to -6.5 (-115) about an hour later, and the Fighting Irish dipped to -5.5 midday Wednesday.

Notre Dame is now at -6.5 flat, with tickets 5/1 and money 9/1 on the Irish.

PointsBet's total opened at 53 (Under -115) and dipped to 51.5 a couple times Monday. But it rebounded to 54.5 by Tuesday afternoon and has been at 54 since Tuesday night. The Over is getting 59% of bets, while 80% of cash is on the Under.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: After falling to Ohio State in Week 4, Notre Dame (5-1 SU and ATS) got a tough game for the second straight week. The Fighting Irish, laying 5.5 points on the road, needed a final-minute touchdown to beat No. 17 Duke 21-14.

Louisville (5-0 SU/2-2-1 ATS) is quietly putting together a good season. The Cardinals edged North Carolina State 13-10 in Week 5, pushing as 3-point road favorites.

Notre Dame hasn't moved off 6.5 at TwinSpires, where 55% of early tickets are on the Irish and 53% of early money is on the Cardinals.

"Good two-way action on the spread so far. On the moneyline, it's 2/1 tickets and 3/1 money Notre Dame," Lucas said.

The moneyline is at Notre Dame -250/Louisville +200. The total is down a point to 51.5 at TwinSpires, with sharp play showing up on Under 52.5.

No. 2 Michigan vs Minnesota Odds

UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Michigan opened -19.5 and got to -20.5 Monday morning at BetMGM Nevada. Then the number returned to -19.5 Monday night and slid to -18.5 Thursday.

The Wolverines are currently -18.5, with ticket count 8/1 Michigan, but money almost dead even. BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said Minnesota drew sharp play at +20.5 and +19.5.

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM pegged Michigan as 19.5-point chalk Sunday in its college football Week 6 odds market. The Wolverines quickly went to -20.5 Monday morning, then back to -19.5 Monday night.

On Thursday afternoon, the Wolverines receded to -18.5. Contrary to the line shortening, ticket count is almost 8/1 and money 9/1 on Michigan.

BetMGM's total opened at 47.5 and by Monday night was down to 46, where it stuck all week. The Over is netting 68% of early tickets/58% of early money.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Michigan (5-0 SU/1-3-1 ATS) finally cashed for bettors in Week 5. The Wolverines closed as 17.5-point faves at Nebraska and scored the first 45 points of the game in a 45-7 blowout.

Minnesota (3-2 SU/1-4 ATS) snapped a four-game spread-covering skid in Week 5. The Gophers pulled away from Louisiana-Lafayette in the fourth quarter, winning 35-24 to cash laying 9.5 at home.

On Sunday evening, Caesars inched the Wolverines from -20 to -19.5. But this morning, the line returned to Michigan -20, then went to -20.5.

The total rose from 62.5 to 63.5 Tuesday, then returned to 62.5 Thursday. The Over is nabbing 69% of tickets, while 58% of money is on the Under at BetMGM.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Mississippi came out on top in arguably the shootout of the season thus far. Catching 3 points at home, the Rebels trailed LSU 49-40 midway through the fourth quarter. But Ole Miss put two more TDs on the board to win a wild one 55-49.

Arkansas (2-3 SU and ATS) lost to Texas A&M 34-22 catching 6.5 points in a neutral-site game at AT&T Stadium.

The Arkansas-Ole Miss line has already bounced around a bit. Caesars opened the Rebels -10 Sunday afternoon and quickly went to -10.5, then -11, before returning to -10.5 Sunday night. This morning, Ole Miss again went to -11.

No. 13 Washington State vs UCLA Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: UCLA -4
  • Opening moneyline: UCLA -185/Washington State +150
  • Opening total: Over/Under 59 points scored
  • Time: 3 p.m. ET Saturday (Pac-12 Network)

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Sixty minutes pre-kick, UCLA is a 3.5-point chalk at TwinSpires Sportsbook, down from the -4 opener. Washington State is attracting 68% of spread tickets/71% of spread money.

Zachary Lucas, director of retail sports for TwinSpires, echoed his sentiments from early in the week.

"Money pouring in on the 'dog all week. UCLA is a contrarian favorite that we'll need to cover," Lucas said.

The total initially dipped from 59 to 58.5, then went to 59 and 60. It's now 59.5, with 63% of tickets/66% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 5 P.M. ET THURSDAY: UCLA opened -3, stepped up to -4 by Monday afternoon, then spent much of the past three days at -3.5. This afternoon, the Bruins fell to -3 (-120), then -3 (-115).

Short road 'dog Washington State is netting 62% of early spread bets/83% of early spread money. Moneyline bettors are on the Cougars, as well.

The total has been painted to various iterations of 59 all week, and it's currently 59 flat. Which is interesting, because 75% of early bets and practically all the early dollars are on the Over.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Washington State (4-0 SU/3-1 ATS) is among four unbeaten Pac-12 teams and was off during Week 5. In Week 4, the Cougars held off an Oregon State rally for a 38-35 victory catching 3 points at home.

UCLA (3-1 SU/2-2 ATS) also had a Week 5 bye. The Bruins fell to Utah 14-7 getting 3.5 points on the road in Week 4.

Although UCLA isn't ranked, it opened as a 4-point chalk at TwinSpires, then backed up to -3.5. Early tickets and money are in the 2/1 range on Washington State.

"Money is pouring in on the 'dog. Washington State is another trendy 'dog this week," Lucas said.

The total moved from 59 to 58.5 on sharp Under play. The Over is seeing 61% of early tickets, while 58% of early money is on the Under.

Alabama is seeing 60% of spread tickets, while 59% of spread dollars are on Texas A&M.

"Sharp play on Texas A&M +3 and +2.5," TwinSpires' Zachary Lucas said.

The total nudged from 49.5 to 50 early in the week, then receded all the way to 45.5 by this afternoon, with stops at 49, 48 and 46. The Over is netting 59% of tickets, but 69% of cash is on the Under.

"We're flooded with Under money. We'll need the Over for a good amount," Lucas said.

UPDATE 5 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Alabama opened -3.5 and steadily made its way down to -1 by this morning at PointsBet. The Crimson Tide made stops at every half-point along the way: -3/-2.5/-2/-1.5.

That said, spread action is overwhelmingly on 'Bama, with ticket count 5/1 and practically every dollar on the Tide at PointsBet. And Alabama is getting a huge majority of moneyline play, as well.

TwinSpires nudged 'Bama from -3 to -2.5. The Crimson Tide are taking 65% of early spread bets/53% of early spread dollars.

No. 12 Oklahoma vs No. 3 Texas Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline

  • Opening total: Over/Under 59 points scored
  • Time: Noon ET Saturday (ABC)

UPDATE 11:15 A.M. ET SATURDAY: Under an hour before kickoff, Texas is down to a 4.5-point favorite at BetMGM. The Longhorns opened -4.5 and climbed to -6.5 by Tuesday. But the line went to Texas -5.5 Thursday, then dropped to -4.5 this morning.

All that said, spread tickets and money are in the 2.5/1 range on Texas. And while 54% of moneyline bets are on Oklahoma, 63% of moneyline cash is on the Longhorns.

BetMGM trader Seamus Magee said the book needs Oklahoma to pull the outright upset.

The total opened at 59.5, got to 61 Friday, backed up to 60.5, then this morning went to 61.5. Tickets are 2/1 and money 3/1 on the Over at BetMGM.

UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: This number is on the way down today. Texas dropped from -6.5 to -6, -5.5 and now -5 at PointsBet, a Fanatics Experience. That's after the Longhorns opened -5 and got to -6.5 early in the week.

Spread ticket count is beyond 2/1 Texas, but spread money is running almost even, with a modest lean toward Oklahoma.

The total opened at 58.5 (Under -115), peaked at 60.5 and is now 60 (Over -115). Ticket count is 5/1 on the Over, but money is running dead even at PointsBet.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Texas (5-0 SU/3-2 ATS) hasn't won a game by less than 10 points all season, including at Alabama in Week 2. That's been boon for point-spread bettors thus far.

In Week 5 against No. 24 Kansas, the Longhorns pulled away in the second half for a 40-14 victory laying 15.5 points at home.

Oklahoma has quietly matched Texas, also 5-0 SU while going 5-0 ATS with nothing but double-digit wins. The Sooners boat-raced Iowa State 50-20 in Week 5, cashing as 19.5-point favorites.

TwinSpires Sportsbook opened Texas -5.5 and already went through -6 on the way to -6.5. Oklahoma is getting 54% of spread tickets, but 68% of spread cash is on the Longhorns.

"Early sharp play on Texas," Twinspires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

The total crept from 59 to 59.5, with early tickets 2.5/1 and early money 4/1 on the Over.

"The public loves the Over. With two great offenses, we aren't expecting to see much Under money," Lucas said

Last season, which was Oklahoma's worst this century (6-7 SU), Texas pounded the Sooners 49-0. Per usual, this is a neutral-site game played at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.

The winner Saturday takes control of the Big 12 and likely makes an impact on College Football Playoff odds, as well.

No. 23 LSU vs No. 21 Missouri Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: LSU -6.5
  • Opening moneyline: LSU -250/Missouri +205
  • Opening total: Over/Under 62.5 points scored
  • Time: Noon ET Saturday (ESPN)

UPDATE 11:30 A.M. ET SATURDAY: TwinSpires Sportsbook pegged LSU a 7-point road chalk to open, then fell to Tigers -6 en route to the current -5.5. Missouri is landing 60% of spread tickets/64% of spread cash.

"Mizzou is a trendy 'dog. It's hard for bettors to pass up a 5-0 team getting 5.5 points at home," TwinSpires director of retail betting Zachary Lucas said.

The total climbed from 62.5 to 65, then backed up to 64. Tickets and money are in the 2/1 range on the Over at TwinSpires.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET FRIDAY: LSU opened -6.5 Sunday afternoon at BetMGM and began sliding backwards midweek. On Wednesday, the Tigers went to -6/-5.5, then Thursday fell to -4.5. Late this morning, LSU rebounded to -5.5.

Missouri is seeing a modest majority 53% of spread tickets, while 60% of spread money is on LSU.

The total climbed from 62.5 to 65.5 by Thursday, then receded to 64.5 in the past hour. Tickets and money are both in the 7/1 range on the Over. In fact, by ticket count, this matchup is the second-most-bet Over on the college football Week 6 odds board at BetMGM.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: In this SEC battle of Tigers, LSU (3-2 SU/2-3 ATS) is the lower-ranked team, on the road, against unbeaten Missouri. But oddsmakers certainly revealed a lot by opening LSU as almost a touchdown chalk.

LSU dug itself into a 21-7 first-quarter hole at No. 20 Ole Miss in Week 4, then rebounded to turn the game into arguably the biggest shootout of this season. LSU took a 49-40 lead midway through the fourth quarter.

But the purple-and-gold Tigers then gave up two touchdowns and lost 55-49 as 3-point favorites.

Missouri (5-0 SU/3-2 ATS) had no such issues with Vanderbilt. The black-and-gold Tigers took a 24-7 lead early in the third quarter and coasted to a 38-21 victory giving 14 points on the road.

Caesars remains at its opener of LSU -6.5. But the total nudged up from 62.5 to 63 in the college football odds Week 6 market.

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Ohio State -18
  • Opening moneyline: Ohio State -1550/Maryland +770
  • Opening total: Over/Under 55.5 points scored
  • Time: Noon ET Saturday (FOX)

UPDATE 11:30 A.M. ET SATURDAY: Ohio State surged from -18 to -19.5 early in the week on sharp play at TwinSpires Sportsbook. But the public can't seem to get enough of Maryland. The Terrapins are taking 81% of spread tickets, while 59% of spread money is on Ohio State.

"It's a Pros vs Joes matchup," TwinSpires director of retail betting Zachary Lucas said. "Maryland 80/20 ticket count, which is unheard of for Ohio State opponents. Despite that, there's more money on Ohio State still."

The total went from 55.5 to 55, then got as high as 57.5. But it's down 2 points this morning to 55.5. However, tickets and money are in the 2/1 range on the Over at TwinSpires.

UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: PointsBet opened the Buckeyes -19 (even), bottomed out at 18 Sunday night and rebounded to -20 by Tuesday night. Ohio State remains -20, but ticket count is 2.5/1 and money almost 3/1 on big underdog Maryland.

"Maryland has featured a top-15 offense this season, averaging 39 points per game with the Big Ten's leading passer in Taulia Tagovailoa," football trader Jake Fisher said in The Hustle, PointsBet's daily newsletter. "The banged-up Buckeyes just had a bye week to recover from Notre Dame. But Marvin Harrison Jr. is still nursing an ankle sprain.

"Asking Ohio State to win by three TDs feels like a tall task against a scrappy Terrapins squad."

PointsBet's total opened at 55.5 (Under -115), topped out at 58 Tuesday morning and is now 57. Tickets and money are running 4/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: Ohio State (4-0 SU/1-2-1 ATS) had a bye in Week 5, after squeaking past Notre Dame in Week 4. The Buckeyes scored a touchdown in the final seconds to claim a 17-14 win and push as 3-point road favorites.

Maryland (5-0 SU/3-2 ATS) is an underdog for the first time this season, and a significant one at that. In Week 5, the Terrapins dispatched Indiana 44-17 as 14.5-point home faves.

The Buckeyes are already up 1.5 points to -19.5 in TwinSpires' college football odds Week 6 market. However, 75% of early tickets are on Maryland, while 57% of early money – including sharp play – is on Ohio State.

"There's an early Pros vs Joes feel to this. Maryland is a very popular 'dog as of now," Lucas said.

The total dipped a half-point to 55, with 57% of tickets/56% of cash on the Over.
