LATE WEEK UPDATE: As of 2 p.m. ET Thursday, Georgia is laying 20.5 points in DraftKings Sportsbook's college football odds Week 6 market. The Bulldogs opened -21.5 and made a stop at -21 Sunday evening before getting to -20.5 Monday.

Still, early spread tickets are running 3/1 and early spread money almost 4/1 on the Bulldogs.

DK's total has been at some iteration of 48.5 all week and is now 48.5 (Under -115). Ticket count is nearing 4/1 on the Over, but money is running almost even.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sportsbook saw some customers getting on the big underdog after going up at Georgia -21.5.

"Early money here took the 21.5 opener with Kentucky, and now the spread is below three touchdowns to Georgia -20.5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Georgia is coming off the home loss in prime time to Alabama, which has led to a lot of criticism amongst Georgia fans towards Kirby Smart.

"This should be a somewhat easy bounce-back spot for Georgia."

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Georgia (3-1 SU/0-4 ATS) still hasn't cashed against the number this season, and now has a its first SU loss, too. In Week 5, the Bulldogs closed as 2.5-point home favorites vs. Alabama and lost outright 24-21.

Perhaps Kentucky (2-2 SU/1-3 ATS) will provide some relief. The Wildcats were 5.5-point road underdogs to South Carolina in Week 5 and got rolled 35-13.

Circa Sports, considered a sharper book and among the first to market each Sunday, opened Georgia as 20-point home chalk in college football Week 6 odds. The Bulldogs almost immediately went to -21. The total opened at 48.5.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: ESPNBET has Alabama -10.5 (-105) in college football Week 6 odds, as of 2 p.m. ET Thursday. The Crimson Tide opened -11.5 and got as low as -9.5 Monday morning, but have been steady at -10.5 since then.

Accounting for all bet types (straight/parlays etc.), underdog Vanderbilt is seeing 62% of spread bets/54% of spread dollars.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Alabama opened as -12.5-point home chalk in Borgata Sports' college football odds Week 6 market.

"It's been mostly early money on Vanderbilt, as the spread has now dropped to 10.5, reflecting what the wider market is also seeing," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Vanderbilt has been putting up a lot of points this season.

"But this will be a step up in class, in terms of the defense they will face."

Borgata's total is up to 57 from a 55.5 opener.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Alabama (3-1 SU and ATS) knocked off No. 5 Georgia 24-21 catching 2.5 points on the road in Week 5. It was an impressive and perhaps needed win for much-maligned coach Kalen DeBoer. And it made up for an Week 1 upset loss at Florida State.

Vanderbilt (5-0 SU/4-1 ATS) had its strong season continue in Week 5. The Commodores rolled over Utah State 55-35, though for the first time this season, they didn't cover while laying 23.5 points at home.

Shortly before 2 p.m. ET Sunday, Alabama opened as 12-point home chalk in Circa Sports' college football odds Week 6 market. The Crimson Tide went to -13 in a hurry, then returned to -12 within 20 minutes or so.

Within 20 minutes, the Crimson Tide dropped straight to -12. The total opened at 55.5.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: Texas Tech is laying 11.5 points in DraftKings' Week 6 college football odds, as of 2 p.m. ET Thursday. The Red Raiders opened -10.5 and stretched out to -12.5 in short order, but have spent the past couple days toggling between -11.5/-10.5.

DK's total is at 51.5, reaching that point early Thursday afternoon, after spending the previous four days at 50.5. The Over is seeing 85% of early bets/59% of early money.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Favorite Texas Tech is on the move early in Borgata Sports' college football Week 6 odds.

"Texas Tech has looked great in the early going this season," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "We opened them as 10.5-point road favorites, and early money has pushed this to 11.5 already.

"Houston escaped in overtime with a win over Oregon State last week. But the Cougars weren’t even close to covering the spread, despite having support in the market. This number could grow slightly higher as the week goes on."

Borgata opened and remains at 50.5 on the total.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Texas Tech (4-0 SU and ATS) had a bye in Week 5, after an impressive Week 4 road victory. The Red Raiders dominated Utah 34-10 as 3.5-point underdogs.

Houston (4-0 SU/3-1 ATS) went to Oregon State as double-digit chalk and found itself in a 14-0 hole early in the second quarter. The Cougars rallied to tie at at 24 with 3:40 left in the fourth quarter, then won 27-24 in overtime giving 12.5 points.

Shortly before 2 p.m. ET, Texas Tech opened -9 in Circa Sports' Week 6 college football odds. The Red Raiders quickly went to -10, then onto -11 before settling at -10.5 after 20 minutes. The total opened at 53.5 and dropped to 51 in short order.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: DraftKings Sportsbook has Ohio State as hefty 23.5-point home chalk, as of 2:30 p.m. ET Thursday. That matches Sunday's opening number, though the Buckeyes reached -24.5 (even) Sunday night, before returning to -23.5 Monday morning.

It's all Ohio State early on the spread, at 83% of bets/90% of money.

DraftKings' total just went to 43.5, after spending the past four days at the 44.5 opener. The Over is drawing 89% of bets, while the Under is taking 75% of dollars.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: The Buckeyes are up a tick, from -23.5 to -24 in Borgata Sports' college football odds Week 6 market.

"A big spread in this one and not much early interest from the betting market," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "This spread may creep to 24.5 by game time.

"I still don’t expect this to be one of the higher handle games of the week, despite having the number one team in the country playing in it."

Borgata's total opened and remains 44.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Ohio State (4-0 SU/3-0-1 ATS) muddled through the first half at Washington, taking a 7-3 lead into the locker room. But the Buckeyes got going in the second half and breezed to a 24-6 victory laying 9.5 points.

Minnesota (3-1 SU/1-3 ATS) got a much stiffer Week 5 challenge from Rutgers. The Golden Gophers trailed 14-0 early in the second quarter, then rallied to tie it just a few minutes later.

It was back-and-forth from there, with Minnesota winning 31-28 on a touchdown with 3:19 remaining. But the Gophers failed to cash as 3.5-point home favorites.

Minnesota-Ohio State was quickly on the move in Circa Sports' college football odds Week 6 market. The Buckeyes opened -22 at 1:44 p.m. ET Sunday and quickly went to -24. On the flip side, the total dipped from 46.5 to 44.5.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: Just after 2 p.m. ET Thursday, Texas A&M jumped from -14.5 (-115) to -16.5 (+105) in ESPNBET's college football odds Week 6 market. The Aggies opened -14.5 (even) and briefly backed up to -13.5 (-125) Sunday.

A&M spent most of the week at various iterations of -14.5 before the 2-point Thursday move. Still, big underdog Mississippi State is netting 75% of early spread tickets/60% of early spread money, when accounting for all bet types (straight/parlays etc.).

ESPNBET's total is at 55.5 (Over -115) after steadily making its way down from Sunday's 58.5 opener. The Over is landing 71% of bets, while 84% of money is on the Under, again accounting for all bet types (straight/parlays etc.).

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports opened Texas A&M as solid 13.5-point home chalk.

"The Aggies have been a great story this season," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The spread has ticked up to 14 now, and we’ve started to see some money come in on the Bulldogs at +14.

"Mississippi State is in the midst of an extremely difficult stretch of games, coming off an overtime loss to Tennessee. If the Bulldogs cut down on their penalties, they certainly have an opportunity to keep this within the number."

The total is down to 55.5 from a 58.5 opener.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Texas A&M (4-0 SU/1-3 ATS) remained unbeaten in an offensively challenged game vs. Auburn. The Red Raiders hung on for a 16-10 victory, but failed to cash as 6.5-point home favorites in Week 5.

Meanwhile, Mississippi State (4-1 SU/5-0 ATS) almost pulled off a Week 5 upset in a back-and-forth battle with then-No. 15 Tennessee. The Bulldogs led 34-27 late, but gave up a touchdown with 1:55 remaining. Mississippi State then lost 41-34 in overtime, catching 7.5 points at home.

Circa Sports opened Texas A&M as 12-point home chalk in college football Week 6 odds, at 2 p.m. ET Sunday. That didn't last long, as the Aggies sped out to -13.5. The total opened at 56.5 and just as quickly ran out to 59.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: The Hurricanes are down to -3.5 (-115) at ESPNBET, as of 2:30 p.m. ET Thursday. Miami opened -5.5 Sunday and initially ticked up to -6.5 (-105), but the line tumbled to -3.5 (-120) by Monday morning.

Shortly thereafter, the 'Canes returned to -4.5, but the number returned to -3.5 today. Accounting for all bet types (straight/parlays etc.), it's still heavy Miami action on the spread, at 70% of tickets/82% of money.

ESPNBET's total is at 54.5, returning to the opener Thursday morning after spending Tuesday/Wednesday at 53.5. The Over is seeing 76% of bets, while 54% of money is on the Under, again accounting for all bet types (straight/parlays etc.).

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Miami hit Borgata's college football Week 6 odds as 5.5-point road chalk.

"But early money came in on the Seminoles, and now Miami is -4.5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Florida State just lost in double overtime to Virginia on the road, while Miami is undefeated and coming in well-rested off a bye week.

"Anything can happen in a rivalry game like this. But I would expect we will probably need the 'dog here."

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Florida State (3-1 SU and ATS) took its first loss of the season in a high-flying affair at Virginia. The Seminoles erased a 14-0 deficit, ultimately forcing overtime tied at 35. But Florida State fell 45-38 in double OT as 7-point road chalk.

Miami (4-0 SU/3-1 ATS) had a bye in Week 5. The Hurricanes rolled over Florida 26-7 laying 8.5 points at home in Week 4.

It's worth keeping in mind that last season, Vandy shocked then-No. 1 Alabama 40-35, with the Commodores a 23-point home underdog.

Circa Sports opened Miami -5 just before 2 p.m. ET Sunday, and the line quickly went to -6, then returned to -5. The total opened at 54.5 in the college football odds Week 6 market.
