No. 16 Duke vs No. 4 Florida State Odds

• Opening point spread: Florida State -13.5
• Opening moneyline: Florida State -695/Duke +465
• Opening total: Over/Under 49 points scored
• Time: 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ABC)

UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Florida State opened -13.5, went to -14.5 early in the week at BetMGM Nevada, dipped to -14 and is back at -14.5.

"Sharps were on Florida State -13.5," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said. "Tickets almost 2/1 in favor of Duke. Money, though, is 2/1 in favor of Florida State. And they're playing Duke on the moneyline, 4/1 tickets and 10/1 money."

The total moved from 49 to 49.5 to 48.5, with tickets and money "pretty much" dead even, Shelton said.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Seminoles opened -14.5 (even) at PointsBet and touched -13.5 a couple times, on Sunday night and Wednesday morning. In between, Florida State was at -14, and the 'Noles are now -14.5 flat.

Ticket count is almost 2/1 Duke, and interestingly, practically all the early spread money is on the Blue Devils.

The total nudged from 49 to 48.5 Wednesday, then rebounded to 50 late this afternoon. It's now 49.5, with 80% of bets on the Over/56% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Florida State (6-0 SU/4-2 ATS) stayed right in the thick of the College Football Playoff odds market with an easy Week 7 win. The Seminoles pounded Syracuse 41-3 giving 18.5 points at home.

Duke (5-1 SU/4-2 ATS) wants something to say about how the ACC unfolds and could also easily be unbeaten. The Blue Devils' lone loss came at home to Notre Dame, on a last-minute TD. In Week 7, Duke stifled North Carolina State 24-3 as a 4-point home favorite.

The Noles are up a tick to -14 at TwinSpires. Duke is seeing 66% of spread tickets early on, while 61% of spread money is on Florida State.

"It's a Pros vs. Joes matchup. The public is grabbing the points with Duke. Sharp play on Florida State -13.5," Lucas said.

The total hasn't moved off 49, with 65% of bets/62% of cash on the Over.
