UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: With kickoff approaching, Ole Miss is laying 6.5 points at BetMGM Nevada.

"Sharp play on Auburn +7. Tickets 3/1 in favor of Mississippi, money 2/1 in favor of Auburn," BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton said of activity in the sportsbook's Las Vegas market.

The total has bounced around a lot, opening at 56.5, peaking at 57.5, bottoming out at 54.5 and now sitting at 55.5.

"It's been pretty volatile. Tickets and money dead even. Sharp play on both sides, Over 54.5 and Under 57.5."

UPDATE 12:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Ole Miss opened -5.5 (-115) at BetMGM, briefly touched -7 (-105) Monday morning and spent the rest of the week at -6.5. The Rebels are currently -6.5 (-115) while landing 73% of early spread bets/62% of early spread money.

BetMGM's total opened at 56.5, went to 57.5 briefly Tuesday, then bottomed out at 54.5 Wednesday. It's now 55.5, with tickets almost dead even and 54% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Mississippi is on a five-game SU win streak and coming off a bye week. In Week 6, the Rebels (5-1 SU/3-2-1 ATS) topped Arkansas 27-20, but failed to cover the 13-point spread.

Auburn (3-3 SU/2-4 ATS) was an 11-point road 'dog to LSU in Week 7 and got rolled 48-18.

Ole Miss is up a half-point to -7 in TwinSpires' college football odds Week 8 market. The Rebels are drawing 60% of early spread bets/69% of early spread dollars.

"The public is siding with Ole Miss, which is no surprise. Two teams going in opposite directions," Lucas said.

The total is stable at 56.5, with 67% of tickets/62% of money on the Over.
