u43.5 (-115) | -200 +154 |

- Opening moneyline: Oklahoma -190/Michigan +165
- Opening total: Over/Under 47.5 points scored
- Time: 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ABC)
GAME DAY LATE UPDATE: With 75 minutes until kickoff, BetMGM has Oklahoma -4.5 in college football Week 2 odds. This line has been volatile, opening at Sooners -3 and at some books touching -6 early in the week. BetMGM was at -5.5 this morning before dipping to -4.5.
"Michigan appears to be a pretty public 'dog today. We're gonna need Oklahoma -5.5," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
BetMGM's total also saw noteworthy movement, opening at 47.5 and now at 43.5. That said, Magee noted the total is not a noteworthy decision.
GAME DAY EARLY UPDATE: Five hours before kickoff, Oklahoma is -5.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook. On Sunday, this line shot from Sooners -3.5 to -5.5, then Monday got to -6 briefly before steadying at -5.5.
On Tuesday, Oklahoma dipped to -4.5 (-115), and the Sooners returned to -5.5 this morning. Michigan is seeing 62% of spread bets, but spread money is dead even. The underdog is more popular on the moneyline, at 59% of bets/71% of cash.
DK's total is at 43.5, well off the 46.5 opener and 47.5 high point. Still, the Over is taking 73% of bets/55% of dollars.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: This line is among the most volatile in DraftKings Sportsbook's college football Week 2 odds. Oklahoma opened -3.5, stretched out to -5.5 a couple times Sunday and touched -6 Monday morning.
But by Tuesday night, the spread snapped back to Sooners -4.5 (-115), where it remains as of 2 p.m. ET Thursday. As those moves might suggest, it's two-way spread play at DK, with 54% of bets on Michigan/52% of money on Oklahoma.
The total is down to 44.5 (Over -115), after opening at 46.5 and briefly peaking at 47.5 Sunday. The Over is taking 64% of bets, while 54% of cash is on the Under.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: This is the only matchup of ranked teams in the college football odds Week 2 market.
No. 18 Oklahoma (1-0 SU/0-1 ATS) started strong with a 35-3 rout of FCS foe Illinois State. But the Sooners fell short of covering as hefty 40.5-point home favorites.
No. 15 Michigan at least played an FBS opponent, getting a little test at home against New Mexico. The outcome was never in doubt, as the Wolverines won 34-17, but were nowhere near covering the 34.5-point spread.
Michigan-Oklahoma was on the move early at Borgata Sportsbook, a BetMGM shop in Atlantic City.
"Oklahoma opened as a 5.5-point favorite here and was quickly bet to -6," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday night. "This is a Saturday slate that is certainly on the weaker side for mainstream appeal. But this game should do decent business overall.
"Being in prime time will certainly help the handle."
Borgata's total dipped from 47.5 to 46.5.
Circa Sports opened Oklahoma -5.5 Sunday and went straight to -6.5 this morning, then settled in at -6. The total opened at 48 and is down to 46.
UL Monroe vs. Alabama Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Alabama vs
Louisiana-Monroe | -34.5 (-115)
+34.5 (-115) | o49.5 (-110)
u49.5 (-120) | |
- Opening point spread: Alabama -37.5
- Opening moneyline: Not Available
- Opening total: Over/Under 50.5 points scored
- Time: 7:45 p.m. ET Saturday (SEC Network)
GAME DAY UPDATE: The Crimson Tide opened as massive 37.5-point home faves in BetMGM's college football odds Week 2 market. This morning, 'Bama was at -35.5, and the number is now -34.5 (-115).
"Not the biggest handle on this game. We'd like to see ULM cover +34.5," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
BetMGM's total is at 49.5 (Under -115), down a point from the 50.5 opener, which is also where the total was this morning. Magee said there's not much of a decision on the total.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: Alabama dipped from -37.5 to -36.5 Monday at Draftkings. There's been no movement since, as the number remains -36.5 Thursday afternoon. Early spread play is heavy to 'Bama, with ticket count 3/1 and money 5/1-plus.
DK hasn't budged off the 50.5 total, only making a couple juice adjustments. Ticket count is 4/1 and money 2.5/1 on the Over.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: The only reason this matchup makes the college football Week 2 odds report is because Alabama is coming off a shocking Week 1 loss. The Crimson Tide (0-1 SU and ATS) were 13.5-point favorites at Florida State and got rocked 31-17.
The loss sent the Tide tumbling in the AP poll, from No. 8 to No. 21.
Alabama hopes to regain its bearings against Louisiana-Monroe, out of the Sun Belt Conference. The Warhawks (1-0 SU/0-1 ATS) breezed by FCS foe St. Francis 29-0, but couldn't cover as 30.5-point home favorites.
No surprise, Alabama is a massive favorite, opening and remaining -37.5 Monday night at Borgata Sports.
"Alabama losing outright to Florida State in Week 1 was one of the biggest decisions of the week for us," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Here, they have a pretty easy get-right spot at home against UL Monroe.
"You’d expect the Crimson Tide to run up the score here and try to soothe some of the anxiety that seems to be surrounding the program now."
Borgata's total opened and remains 50.5.
"The total has taken some early money to the Over, but that money certainly wasn’t profiled as respected," Gable said.
Circa Sports hit the market earlier Sunday, opening the Tide at -39 and almost immediately going to -37. The line then ticked up to Bama -38, and it's been stable at -37.5 since mid-Sunday afternoon.
Circa's total went from 52 to 50.5 Sunday, then settled at 51 this morning.
Ole Miss vs. Kentucky Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Kentucky vs
Ole Miss | +8.5 (-115)
-8.5 (-115) | o50.5 (-125)
u50.5 (-105) | +260 -345 |
- Opening point spread: Ole Miss -9.5
- Opening moneyline: Ole Miss -400/Kentucky +310
- Opening total: Over/Under 52.5 points scored
- Time: 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ABC)
GAME DAY UPDATE: Mississippi opened as 9.5-point chalk in BetMGM's college football Week 2 odds and is -9.5 (-105) as of 2:15 p.m. ET.
"We're seeing more Kentucky money on the spread. It would be nice for the book to get Ole Miss -9.5," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
The total opened at 52.5 and is down to 50.5 (Under -115). But Magee said there's not much of a decision on the total.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: On Thursday afternoon, Ole Miss is 10-point chalk in DraftKings' Week 2 college football odds. The line has bounced around throughout the week. Early Sunday, the Rebels opened -11.5, then dropped straight to -10, and they bottomed out at -9.5 Sunday afternoon.
Ole Miss climbed back to -10.5 a couple times early in the week and have been stable at -10 since Tuesday night. Early spread action is all Ole Miss, at 80% of tickets/86% of money.
The total saw a lot of movement early in the week, too. After opening at 53.5 and briefly advancing to 54.5, DraftKings dropped to 50.5 by Tuesday and remains there Thursday afternoon. The Over is getting 62% of bets, while 52% of money is on the Under.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 20 Ole Miss (1-0 SU and ATS) had no trouble with Sun Belt Conference foe Georgia State in Saturday's season opener. The Rebels rolled to a 63-7 home win, easily covering as 33.5-point favorites.
Kentucky (1-0 SU/0-1 ATS) didn't have it nearly as easy, but was also never really threatened by Toledo. The Wildcats posted a 24-16 victory as 10-point home faves, failing to cover when Toledo got a touchdown with 1:55 remaining.
Mississippi opened as 9.5-point chalk in Borgata Sportsbook's college football odds Week 2 market.
"Ole Miss is up to a 10-point road favorite here after opening at -9.5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday night. "Not much written on this in the early going, but enough people are laying the 9.5 to drive this to 10."
Borgata's total is steady at 52.5.
Circa Sports opened Ole Miss -9, advanced to -10 within an hour and went to -10.5 Sunday night. The total went from 51.5 to 53 Sunday evening, then backed up to 52.5 this morning.

South Florida vs. Florida Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Florida vs
South Florida | -18.5 (-108)
+18.5 (-120) | o57.5 (-115)
u57.5 (-115) | -900 +600 |
- Opening point spread: Florida -18.5
- Opening moneyline: Florida -800/South Florida +550
- Opening total: Over/Under 54.5 points scored
- Time: 4:15 p.m. ET Saturday (SEC Network)
GAME DAY UPDATE: BetMGM has Florida at -18.5 (-105), after opening -18.5 and spending time this week at -17.5.
"USF seems to be a popular 'dog today. We're going to be rooting for Florida to cover -18.5," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
The total is at 56.5 (Under -115) from a 54.5 opener. But much like Ole Miss-Kentucky, Magee said there's not much of a decision.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: Florida hasn't moved off -17.5 since Sunday evening in DraftKings' college football odds Week 2 market. As of Thursday afternoon, the Gators are -17.5 (-115), after opening -18.5 (-105) Sunday morning.
Early spread bettors are leaning toward big underdog South Florida, at 53% of tickets/64% of money.
DK's total is at 56.5 (Under -115), a healthy increase from the 52.5 (Over -115) opener, with all the movement coming by Tuesday afternoon. The Over is nabbing 73% of early tickets/90% of early dollars.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Florida (1-0 SU and ATS) has what many experts deem the toughest schedule in the nation this season. So perhaps you can forgive the Gators for scheduling Long Island in Week 1. Florida, now ranked 13th, notched a 55-0 rout giving 46.5 points at home.
South Florida (1-0 SU and ATS) is coming off an impressive upset in Week 1. The Bulls were 4.5-point home pups, but hammered Boise State 34-7.
At Borgata Sports on Monday night, Florida is down to -17.5 from a -18.5 opener in college football Week 2 odds.
"We did see some early money taking the points with South Florida," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "I expect this number to stay around 17.5, and maybe go a little lower."
Borgata's total opened and remains 54.5.
Early movement at Circa Sports would seem to indicate sharp play on the big underdog. Florida opened -19, went to -18 within 90 minutes Sunday, then this morning dipped to -17.5/-17. Circa's total is down to 54 from a 55 opener.
Iowa vs. Iowa State Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Iowa State vs
Iowa | -3.5 (-110)
+3.5 (-120) | o42.5 (-115)
u42.5 (-115) | -188 +145 |
- Opening point spread: Iowa State -2.5
- Opening moneyline: Iowa State -145/Iowa +125
- Opening total: Over/Under 42.5 points scored
- Time: Noon ET Saturday (FOX)
GAME DAY UPDATE: Thirty minutes before kickoff, Iowa State is -3 (-115) in BetMGM's college football odds Week 2 market. The Cyclones opened -2.5 and were at -3.5 earlier this morning.
"Slightly more money is coming in on Iowa +3.5, and slightly more money on Iowa State moneyline. We definitely don't need a particular side in this one. The total is two-way action, as well," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.
BetMGM opened the total at 42.5, and it's now 42.5 (Over -115), at 11:30 a.m. ET.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: DraftKings Sportsbook has Iowa State at -3.5 (-105) as of 2:30 p.m. ET Thursday. The Cyclones opened -2.5 (-115) and spent most of the week at various iterations of -3, then advanced to -3.5 (-105) Thursday morning.
It's all Iowa State on the spread so far, with tickets and money both in the 4/1 range. Moneyline bettors are also on the Cyclones, with tickets 4/1 and money 2.5/1.
DraftKings opened the total at 43.5 and by Monday morning was down to 41.5, where the number remains Thursday afternoon. The total is getting two-way action, with 53% of bets on the Over/52% of money on the Under in college football Week 2 odds.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 16 Iowa State (2-0 SU and ATS) played on both weekends of the protracted Week 1. On Aug. 23, the Cyclones held off Kansas State 24-21 as 3-point underdogs in Dublin, Ireland.
Then on Saturday, Iowa State thumped FCS foe South Dakota 55-7 laying 16.5 points at home.
Iowa (1-0 SU and ATS) opened its season Saturday, rolling over FCS opponent Albany 34-7. But the Hawkeyes fell well short of cashing as 39.5-point home favorites.
The Iowa-Iowa State line was on the move early in Borgata Sports' college football Week 2 odds market.
"We opened this Iowa State -2.5, and immediately, respected money came in laying the 2.5. We are currently sitting at Iowa State -3," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday night. "We'll see if we can get some buyback on Iowa at +3. This may be heading higher though."
The total nudged from 42.5 to 42 at Borgata.
Circa Sports, often the first to post weekly college football odds, opened Iowa State -2 at home. Within minutes Sunday, that number went to Cyclones -2.5/-3, then advanced to -3.5 within a couple hours. It's now at Cyclones -3
Likewise, Circa's total was on the move early, going straight from 44.5 to 43. This morning, it dipped another 1.5 points to 41.5.

Baylor vs. SMU Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
SMU vs
Baylor | -2.5 (-125)
+2.5 (-105) | o65.5 (-120)
u65.5 (-110) | -155 +120 |
- Opening point spread: SMU -3.5
- Opening moneyline: SMU -160/Baylor +135
- Opening total: Over/Under 65.5 points scored
- Time: Noon ET Saturday (CW)
GAME DAY UPDATE: BetMGM has SMU at -3 (105) in college football Week 2 odds, as of 11:30 a.m. ET. That's down a tick from the SMU -3.5 opener, but up from -2.5 earlier this morning.
It's two-way spread play with a lean toward the Mustangs, at 58% of bets/51% of money. On the moneyline, 60% of bets are on road 'dog Baylor, while 65% of dollars are on SMU.
"Baylor outright is probably the best result for the book," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said. "More SMU money than Baylor money, and Baylor takes care of some parlays for us, too."
BetMGM opened the total at 65.5, and that's where it rests an hour before kickoff, but it was at 64.5 earlier this morning. Tickets and money are in the 2/1 range on the Over.
MIDWEEK UPDATE: As of 2:30 p.m. ET Thursday, SMU is laying 2.5 points in DraftKings' college football odds Week 2 market. The Mustangs opened -4 Sunday morning, dipped to -3.5/-3 Sunday afternoon, then went to -2.5 (-118) Monday afternoon.
The line then quickly bumped up to SMU -3 (-105), but it's been steady at -2.5 since Tuesday afternoon. Southern Methodist is netting 79% of early spread bets, but early spread money is running dead even. Similarly on the moneyline, it's 77% bets Mustangs, but money dead even.
DK's total is at 64.5, matching the opener, but down from the 65.5 high point. The Under is taking 54% of bets, while 73% of cash is on the Over.
OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Baylor got a stern Week 1 challenge at home and now has to hit the road against a ranked outfit. On Friday night, the Bears (0-1 SU and ATS) couldn't keep pace with Auburn in a 38-24 loss catching 1 point.
No. 17 Southern Methodist (1-0) had a much more softball opener, hosting FCS foe Texas A&M-Commerce. The Mustangs coasted to a 42-13 victory but were miles short of covering as massive 50.5-point favorites.
"SMU opened as 3.5-point favorites. It is down to 3 on some early Baylor money," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday night. "But I could see this line bouncing back and forth between and 3 and 3.5 throughout the week."
Borgata's total is steady at 65.5.
"Some money is starting to trickle in on the Under, but nothing significant yet," Gable said.
SMU opened -4 at Circa and saw two moves Sunday, to -3.5/-3. Just a few minutes ago, the Mustangs briefly dipped to -2.5, then returned to -3. The total opened at 67.5 and went straight to 65 within a minute.
