Can Florida get back on track against LSU? See what our experts have to say in our Florida vs. LSU prediction.

GAME DAY UPDATE: Just before kickoff, BetMGM is down to its low point of LSU -4.5, after opening -6.5 and sitting at -7 this morning. The big drop came in the past 75 minutes or so, starting at Tigers -6.

So the road 'dog Florida is getting some support, mostly of the pro variety.

"Florida has definitely been the sharp side this week," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said. "Plenty of buyback on LSU -4.5. If LSU is gonna cover, we're going to need them to cover -7."

The total is at 47.5, well down down from the 54.5 opener. But the number reached 47.5 by midweek and has been that point much of today. Magee said there's not much of a decision.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: LSU hit DraftKings' college football Week 3 odds market as 9.5-point chalk Sunday. By Tuesday night, the Tigers were down to -7.5 (-105), and that's where the line stands at 3 p.m. ET Thursday.

Still, LSU is netting 73% of spread bets/59% of spread money.

DraftKings' total is an even bigger mover, opening at 52.5 and plunging to 47.5 by Wednesday afternoon. The Over is getting 55% of bets, while 72% of money is on the Under.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: As of Monday afternoon, Florida vs. LSU odds are stable at Borgata Sports, with the Tigers nearly double-digit favorites.

"We opened LSU as a 9.5-point favorite, and it’s still sitting at that number," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Florida obviously is coming off a big loss to South Florida, and now they have a brutal schedule for the next four weeks. We haven’t seen much early money on this one yet."

The Gators next four opponents:

  • at No. 3 LSU
  • at No. 5 Miami
  • vs. No. 7 Texas
  • at No. 16 Texas A&M

The Florida-LSU total is down to 49.5 from a 51 opener in Borgata's college football odds Week 3 market.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: LSU (2-0 SU/1-1 ATS) was a little sluggish in the aftermath of its big Week 1 victory at Clemson. The Tigers had no trouble with Louisiana Tech, winning 23-7, but never threatened to cover as 36.5-point home favorites.

On the flip side, Florida fell on its face in Week 2. The Gators (1-1 SU and ATS) closed as 18.5-point home favorites vs. South Florida, but were dealt a stunning 18-16 loss on a final-seconds field goal. Florida entered the game ranked 13th, then dropped entirely out of this week's AP poll.

Third-ranked LSU opened -8 vs. Florida and quickly climbed to -9 in Circa Sports' Week 3 college football odds. The total opened at 51.5 and backed up to 50.5 late Sunday afternoon.

GAME DAY UPDATE: BetMGM has Notre Dame as 6.5-point chalk, an hour before kickoff. That's down a tick from the opener of Fighting Irish -6.5 in the college football odds Week 3 market.

"The book is gonna be rooting for A&M in South Bend tonight. There's lots of public interest in the Irish," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

The total is up to 50.5 from a 48.5, but it's been at 50.5 much of today. Magee said there's nothing to the total tonight.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: DraftKings opened the Fighting Irish -6.5 and has been at -6.5 (-115) since Wednesday morning. It's two-way spread play on Thursday afternoon, with 54% of bets/57% of money on Notre Dame.

The total opened and is currently 49.5, also with two-way play, at 56% of bets/52% of money on the Over.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Notre Dame landed on Borgata Sports' college football Week 3 odds board as 6.5-point chalk.

"Early money laid the 6.5 with Notre Dame, and it’s now at -7," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday afternoon. "Notre Dame has had a week off to digest its loss to Miami to open the season. I don’t see this number getting higher than 7. It could freeze here or possibly go back to 6.5 for a bit."

The total opened at 50.5 and is down to 49.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 8 Notre Dame (0-1 SU and ATS) had Week 2 off, after a disappointing season opener. The Fighting Irish went to Miami as 3-point favorites and exited with a 27-24 loss on a late Hurricanes field goal.

No. 16 Texas A&M (2-0 SU/1-1 ATS) is taking a big step up after facing two lower-profile teams in the first two weeks. The Aggies are coming off a 44-22 win as 34.5-point home favorites vs. Utah State

The Fighting Irish opened as 6.5-point home favorites today in Circa Sports' college football odds Week 3 market. The total was volatile in the first few minutes, opening at 49.5, briefly going to 51, then falling back to 47. It's been stable at 48 since 2:30 p.m. ET.

Looking for a Georgia vs. Tennessee bet? Our team has you covered with our Tennessee vs. Georgia preview!

GAME DAY UPDATE: This is the most-bet game of the day in BetMGM's college football Week 3 odds. And there's definitely a decision shaping up.

With 35 minutes or so until kickoff, Georgia is -3.5 (-115). That's a low point from the opener of Georgia -7.5, with most of that movement coming by midweek. Even at that point, the Bulldogs were still the popular play. But not anymore.

"It's been one-way traffic on Tennessee since then," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said. "Above all, we need Georgia to win this game. There's a lot of interest on Tennessee outright.

"Nothing crazy on the total, but we'd like to see this one stay under 50.5."

The total opened at 50.5, was at 50.5 this morning and is at 50.5 now.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Georgia is down to a 3.5-point road favorite in DraftKings Sportsbook's Week 3 college football odds. That's down significantly from a Bulldogs -7 opener. Still, as of 3 p.m. ET Thursday, UGA is getting the bulk of spread play, at 60% of tickets/63% of money.

Moneyline tickets lean toward Georgia, as well, at 62%. But 58% of moneyline dollars are on home 'dog Tennessee.

DK opened the total at 50.5 and is now at 49.5. The Over is taking 60% of tickets, while 53% of money is on the Under.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Much like Clemson-Georgia Tech, this line saw significant early movement at multiple sportsbooks, including Borgata Sports.

"This will be the first real test for Georgia this season, especially defensively," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday afternoon. "We opened Georgia as a 7-point road favorite and quickly moved off Tennessee money coming in. Georgia now sits at -3.5.

"While this will probably be the only regular-season game that Tennessee is an underdog in, I would not be surprised to see some buyback on Georgia and this getting back to around 4 or 4.5."

The total nudged from 50.5 to 50 in the early going.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Georgia (2-0 SU/0-2 ATS) had no issues winning in Week 2, but still hasn't covered the number this season. The Bulldogs breezed by Austin Peay 28-6, after closing as massive 46.5-point favorites.

No. 15 Tennessee (2-0 SU and ATS) also faced an FCS foe and had much more success. The Vols rolled 72-17 as 39.5-point home favorites vs. East Tennessee State.

At 1:35 p.m. ET Sunday, Circa opened No. 6 Georgia as a 6-point road favorite in the college football odds Week 3 market. About 45 minutes later, the Bulldogs advanced to -6.5.

The total opened at 49.5 and hasn't moved as of 4:30 p.m. ET Sunday.

GAME DAY UPDATE: At 3:30 p.m. ET, an hour before kickoff, Miami is laying 17.5 points in BetMGM's Week 3 college football odds. That's up from Sunday's opener of Hurricanes -15.5, with all of that movement coming during the week.

That said, South Florida is a trendy underdog.

"The public loves South Florida today. We're rooting for the Hurricanes -17.5," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

The total opened at 54.5 and is now at 56.5, where it's been all day today.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Miami is 17.5-point chalk as of 3 p.m. ET Thursday in DraftKings' college football Week 3 odds market. On Sunday, the Hurricanes opened -16.5.

Big underdog South Florida is actually seeing 74% of bets/59% of money on the spread.

DraftKings total is out to 57.5 from a 53.5 opener. It's two-way play with a lean toward the Over, at 58% of tickets and 57% of cash.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports opened Miami at -15.5, and that number was quickly bet up to -17.

"We will see if the magic can continue for South Florida, after the surprising beatdown of Boise State and the upset win over Florida," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "Miami has had a couple weeks to prepare for this one."

Borgata's total is stable at 54.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: South Florida is the toast of the Sunshine State, after a modest home-upset rout of Boise State in Week 1, then a road stunner in Week 2. The Bulls (2-0 SU and ATS) were 18.5-point 'dogs at Florida, but shocked the Gators 18-16 on a final-seconds field goal.

Miami (2-0 SU/1-1 ATS) dispatched visiting Notre Dame 27-24 in Week 1. The Hurricanes then hosted FCS outfit Bethune-Cookman and unsurprisingly rolled 45-3. But the 'Canes didn't cover as massive 52.5-point favorites.

Giving some respect to No. 18 USF, Circa Sports opened No. 5 Miami as a 15-point home favorite. Within a minute Sunday afternoon, the Hurricanes were bet up to -16. The total also moved quickly, from 53 straight to 56, before snapping back to 54.5.

GAME DAY UPDATE: An hour before kickoff, Clemson is -3 (-102) in BetMGM's Week 3 college football odds. That's down notably from the Tigers -6 opener, with much of the movement coming earlier in the week.

"Georgia Tech has been the sharp side all week," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said. "Similar to Bama-Wisconsin, the public likes the favorite in this one. We're going to need Georgia Tech +3.

"Georgia Tech outright definitely takes out a heap of parlays, too."

The total is at 52.5, matching the opener, but it was at 51.5 earlier this morning. Magee said there's not much of a decision on the total.

LATE WEEK UPDATE: On Friday night at DraftKings Sportsbook, Clemson is 3-point chalk in the college football odds Week 3 market. That's well off Sunday's opener of Tigers -6.5, with most of the movement coming early in the week.

That said, Clemson is the popular play, landing 70% of early spread bets/67% of early spread money. The Tigers are similarly popular on the moneyline.

DK's total is at 52.5 (Under -115), after opening at 55.5. The Over is getting 56% of bets, but 71% of money is on the Under.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: Clemson is down to -3.5 (-115) from a -6.5 opener in DraftKings' college football Week 3 odds. Early spread ticket count is 2/1 Tigers, but early spread money is almost dead even.

Moneyline bettors are leaning more into the road favorite, with tickets almost 4/1 and money 2/1-plus on Clemson.

DK opened the total at 55.5 and is down to 52.5, with tickets running even and money 4/1 on the Under so far.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Clemson was a popular offseason play in futures markets, but hasn't looked good on the field through two weeks. And bettors are responding in the college football odds Week 3 market.

"There's some decent line movement already in this one," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday. "Clemson opened as a 6-point favorite, and immediately, bettors were taking the 6 with Georgia Tech, so we went to 5.5.

"They took that, as well, and we moved to 4.5, where it currently sits.  Clemson has already been downgraded from its preseason power rating, and it looks like the market feels the power rating is still a touch too high."

Borgata's total is stable at 52.5.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: In Week 2, Clemson (1-1 SU/0-2 ATS) seemed to be still be hung over from its Week 1 home loss to LSU. The Tigers were 30.5-point home favorites vs. Troy, yet trailed 16-0 midway through the second quarter and were still down 16-3 at halftime.

Dabo Swinney's troops got it together in the second half, and Clemson won 28-17. But the 12th-ranked Tigers were miles short of covering.

Georgia Tech (2-0 SU and ATS) had no such issues vs. FCS outfit Gardner Webb. The Yellow Jackets rolled 59-12 giving 37.5 points at home.

Clemson hit Circa Sports' college football Week 3 odds board as 5-point road chalk Sunday afternoon. That line almost immediately advanced to Clemson -5.5, and 45 minutes later, the Tigers went to -6.

The total went from 51 to 52 in the opening minutes.

GAME DAY UPDATE: Earlier this morning, Alabama was -21 in BetMGM's college football Week 3 odds. The line then nudged to Crimson Tide -20.5, and it's down more an hour before kickoff. 'Bama opened -21 on Sunday.

"Wisconsin has been pretty sharp the last hour or so, with the line moving from +20.5 to +19.5. Even then, the public is sill siding with Alabama here. We're going to need Wisconsin to cover up to +21," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

The total is at 45.5 (Under -115), down 2 points from the 47.5 opener. But Magee said there's not much of a decision.

MIDWEEK UPDATE: DraftKings Sportsbook opened 'Bama -19.5 and got up to -21. Late Wednesday afternoon, the Tide receded to -20.5 in college football odds Week 3. Spread tickets are actually running dead even, but 71% of spread money is on Alabama.

The total is now at 46.5 from a 47.5 opener, with 82% of tickets on the Over, but money running almost even.

EARLY WEEK UPDATE: Borgata Sports, a BetMGM book in Atlantic City, opened Alabama as 21-point chalk in Week 3 college football odds. That three-touchdown spread was met with a touch of resistance.

"A little respected money came in on the opener and took the 21 with the Badgers. It’s now sitting at 20.5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said Monday afternoon. "This number will probably be on and off the 21 throughout the week."

Borgata opened the total at 47.5 and is 46.5 as of 3:30 p.m. ET Monday.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: No. 19 Alabama (1-1 SU and ATS) very much got right in its get-right game, after a stunning Week 1 loss at Florida State. The Crimson Tide pounded Louisiana-Monroe 73-0 laying 34.5 points at home.

Wisconsin (2-0 SU/1-1 ATS) took a little bit longer to get going vs. a lesser light in Week 2. At halftime, the Badgers were up just 14-10 against Middle Tennessee State. But Wisconsin pitched a second-half shutout and rolled to a 42-10 victory as 28.5-point chalk.

Circa Sports is the first book to post college football numbers each Sunday. Alabama opened -21 and hasn't moved as of 4:30 p.m. ET Sunday, three hours after the line went up. However, the total is on the move, from 45.5 to 46.5/47.
