2022 Air Force Falcons Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions

2022 AIR FORCE FALCONS BETTING ODDS, PREDICTIONS, PREVIEW

With a 10-3 SU record Air Force was on the cusp of making it to the Mountain West Championship game last season. All three losses came by six points or less and winning just one of those games would have put them in the championship game. Head Coach Troy Calhoun will return for his 16th season at Air Force and will be accompanied by 11 starters from last season (6 offense, 5 defense).

Air Force thrived on the run game last season, averaging 328 rushing yards per game. Fullback/Falcons leading rusher Brad Roberts (1,357 YDS, 13 TD) will return as well as QB Hazziq Daniels (736 rush yds, 11 rush TD) who is the team’s second leading rusher. The Falcons did not do much passing last season, averaging just 95.5 passing yards per game. Expect the same this season as rushing the ball is what Air Force does best. Three offensive linemen will return so the frontline should be good to go. The defense returns talent as well and should be set up for success with the amount of time the offense spends on the field.

The win total for the Falcons is set at 8.5 this season. Head Coach Troy Calhoun has won nine or more games six times in his 16 seasons at Air Force. All games on the Falcon’s schedule are winnable this season with their toughest games coming on the road against Utah State, at home against Boise State, on the road versus Army, and on the Road against San Diego State. Even if they were to lose three out of four of those games, which I do not expect, they would still cover their win total. Backing Air Force to go over their win total of 8.5 (-110) is the best bet here, but there is also value in Army to win the Mountain West if you are looking for a bit more juice.

Best Bet: Over 8.5 Wins (-110)

AIR FORCE FALCONS ODDS TO WIN MOUNTAIN WEST CHAMPIONSHIP

+600

Air Force is my second favorite to come out of the Mountain division of the conference, just a bit behind Boise State. While this isn’t my best bet for the Falcons, it defiantly offers decent value considering how close the Falcons were last year. If Boise State does not have the type of season people expect, Air Force will be in great position to end up in the Mountain West Championship game. With how well the Falcons run the ball they have potential to win every game this season and this bet is worth laying half a unit at least.

AIR FORCE FALCONS ODDS TO WIN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

+100000

Expect the Falcons to see success this season, but do not expect this kind of success. The 1985 season was the closest Air Force came to winning the National Championship as they came within one game of playing for the title. Unfortunately, things have changed since then and Air Force is not that kind of program anymore. A small bet here is fine if you are a fan of the Falcons, but do not count on cashing out at the end of the season if you do place a wager here.
