Following seven straight seasons with a losing record the Beavers finally got over the hump with a 7-6 SU record last season. Head Coach Jonathan Smith is responsible for the turn-around and will enter his fifth season at Oregon State. Inconsistency has been the theme for the Beavers over the last decade or so, now it is time to start winning the games they're supposed too.

Quarterback Chance Nolan (2,677 YDS, 19 TD, 10 INT) returns to lead the offense. Tristian Gebbia will also compete for the job, but Nolan offers more versatility with his running ability. Wide receiver Tre'Shaun Harrison (29 REC, 401 YDS, 33 TD) and tight end Luke Musgrave (22 REC, 304 YDS, 1 TD) should be Nolans top targets after losing their three top receivers. The o-line will return three starters and will look to give freshman running back Damien Martinez plenty of room to work with.

Oregon State's win total for the 2022 season is set at 5.5 and their scheduled does not do them any favors. The season starts with out of conference games against Boise State and Fresno State followed by Montana State who finished 12-3 SU last season. Conference play begins after those games and USC, Oregon, and Utah are all there. This bet could go either way as the Beavers are set up to win five or six games. Back the under 5.5 wins (+130) here until the Beavers can show some consistency.
