2022 UL-Monroe Warhawks Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions
2022 UL-MONROE WARHAWKS BETTING ODDS, PREDICTIONS, PREVIEW
Most people would be disappointed in a 4-8 SU record, but this was not the case for UL-Monroe. After an 0-10 SU season in 2021 and not having a winning record since 2012, 4-8 SU was almost a breath of fresh air as things are looking to get back on track. Granted, they lost their five games of the season but three of those came against LSU, Louisiana, and Appalachian State. Their win total is set at just 2.5 games this season and they have the veterans to make it happen despite a tough schedule ahead.
Quarterback Chandler Rogers will take command of the offense this season after throwing for 1,311 yards, nine touchdowns, and three interceptions as well rushing for 367 yards in 2021. The Warhawks two leading rushers, Andrew Henry (482 YDS, 4 TDS) and Malik Jackson (451 Yards) also return, but the o-line will need to be better this season. To help with that is transfer center Zarian Mcgill from Jones College. The Warhawks will also have their All-Sun Belt wide receiver Boogie Knight back in action for the 2022 season. The defense was decent against the run last season, but their pass defense was awful and losing cornerback Josh Newton and safety Nick Roberts to the transfer portal does not help.
UL Monroe’s schedule is brutal if we are being honest. Three of their first four games comes against Texas, Alabama, and Louisiana. They will also face Coastal Carolina, Army, and Georgia State throughout the season. I do like them against Nicholls and Texas State at home and with three or four 50/50 games on the schedule I expect UL-Monroe to cover their win total of 2.5 (-125). A-Sun Belt Championship is a longshot for this team, but they could very well match their win total of four games last season.
Best Bet: Over 2.5 Wins (-125)

UL-MONROE WARHAWKS ODDS TO WIN SUN BELT CHAMPIONSHIP
+30000
The Warhawks have the worst odds to win the Sun Belt Championship due to having one of the toughest schedules in the conference. At best they will start the season 1-3 SU, but things get no easier for the Warhawks as the season progresses. There are just too many tough games to see any kind of value in this bet, especially for a team that hasn’t seen a winning season since 2012. However, if you’re looking for the Sun Belt longshot this is the bet for you.
UL-MONROE WARHAWKS ODDS TO WIN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
+300000
If UL-Monroe can take out Alabama and Texas within the first three weeks of the season, then maybe they are National Championship contenders. Extremely unlikely but who knows how high the Warhawks can soar. A few dollars here at most for the fun of it, but this team has quite the uphill battle ahead of them this season.
UL-MONROE WARHAWKS 2022 HEISMAN CONTENDERS & ODDS
The UL-Monroe Warhawks do not have any Heisman contenders to being the 2022 season.
