2022 UNLV Rebels Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions
2022 UNLV REBELS BETTING ODDS, PREDICTIONS, PREVIEW
With a 2-10 SU record last season, the Rebels of UNLV finished last in the West division of the Mountain West conference and will look to turn things around after eight straight losing seasons. The Rebels were competitive last season but never found themselves on the winning side of close games, with six games decided by eight points or less. Head Coach Marcus Arroyo will return for his third season along with many players from last season, but UNLV will need to find something that consistently works.
UNLV will look to improve their passing game with Tennessee transfer Harrison Bailey (QB) taking over the offense. Leading wide receiver Steve Jenkins is gone, but Kyle Williams (42 REC, 601 YDS, 2 TD) and Zyell Griffin (11 REC, 223 YDS, 2 TD) will return as Bailey’s top targets. The offensive line will return four starters, but the depth is lacking in that department. Running back Chad Magyar and Aidan Williams will have big shoes to fill with the departure of Charles Williams (1,261 YDS, 15 TD). On the defensive side of the ball, the Rebels have a lot of work to do as their rushing attack has been offal over the last five or so years.
UNLV’s schedule does not help them much in terms of covering their win total of 4.5. The Rebels should manage to open their season with a win over Idaho State, but things only get tough from there. Realistically, UNLV has two games on their schedule that they should be slightly favored in. Those games coming against Idaho State and New Mexico. The other 10 games on the schedule will be difficult for the Rebels to win. At best, I see UNLV winning four games this season with how tough their schedule is. With that being said, best bet on the board for the Rebels is backing the under 4.5 wins (+110).
Best Bet: Under 4.5 Wins (+110)

UNLV REBELS ODDS TO WIN MOUNTAIN WEST CHAMPIONSHIP
+10000
To go from a team that has not seen a winning season in eight years to conference champion would be an impressive turnaround. Unfortunately for UNLV, they are not set up for that kind of success this season. The Mountain West simply has too many solid teams for the Rebels to go from first to last. This is not the MAC where teams just beat each other up throughout the season. Save your money here and stay away from this bet.
UNLV REBELS ODDS TO WIN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
+300000
To put this into perspective, the sixteen seeds in the NCAA basketball tournament this season had odds of +50000 to win it all. That means that something that has never happened before had 1/6th the odds of this bet. If you’re still struggling to follow along, this bet is not worth your time. Unless of course you are a die-hard Rebels fan, then good luck and have fun!
