Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Iowa State Cyclones Predictions
All the Cowboys do is win football games. They come off a huge win against Texas and find themselves +7-point road dogs against a two-loss Cyclones team. On the surface not much of it makes sense, and even less when you look deeper.
Jaylen Warren and OKST were impressive against Texas as the team has a few more quality wins than their upcoming opponent. Warren rushed for nearly 200 yards and has posted at least 100 in four straight games. He will test everything the 13th ranked Cyclones defense can bring.
Iowa State is no pushover and they’ve recently figured out their offense. Their defense was never an issue and is top-15 in the country. They throw the ball with authority and have amassed over 400 yards of offense over the past month of games. Both teams have offenses trending in the right direction and can rely on their defenses to bend but not burst. Advantage still goes to the more battle-tested team in Oklahoma State.

Warren is on fire, and nobody seems to be able to slow him down. The Cowboys start RB has moved atop the conference as the hottest and possibly best talent on the ground. He lit up the Longhorns for nearly 200 yards rushing but has been consistently punishing teams over the past month.
Spencer Sanders hasn’t been dominant by any standards, but good enough to help the passing game support the run game. Sanders is also the team’s second-leading rusher but has thrown for 959 yards with a 6:5 TD-to-INT ratio.
Tay Martin leads a decent WR core with 365 receiving yards in only five games. The overwhelming strengths for Oklahoma State are their run game and defensive front. Both are good enough to beat Iowa State.

- SU: 4-2

For a team that looked lost on offense, Iowa State has truly hit a stride. Brock Purdy has been charged with turning things around in the air and has responded over the past month. He’s led a balanced offensive attack good enough for 400+ yards in each of the last four games.
The Cyclones have their own monster RB in Breece Hall and his 748 yards rushing on 5.6 YPC. Hall is amazing but is going up against a tight and aggressive defensive front. While Iowa State brings their own defensive abilities, they aren’t good enough to slow down Warren.
The point total has gone OVER in four of the last six games played between Oklahoma State and Iowa State. (AP)

Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Iowa State Cyclones Betting Conclusion
Two big running backs keying the offenses may be a sign to bet the under. Remember, both teams are good to score points and have been putting up ridiculous numbers on offense. Neither QB – even Purdy – should stretch the field, but the drives won’t be long and methodical.
Warren hit over 200 yards on the ground a month ago against Boise State and hasn’t looked back. Sanders looked bad with three picks in a win over Baylor, which may be a great sign if he struggles early against Iowa State.
Go over the total and watch OK State upset another overrated team. ISU has hit the over three times this year and can get to the low 20’s. Oklahoma State will do the rest.
