Washington Huskies vs. UCLA Bruins Picks, Predictions, Odds
The Washington Huskies and the UCLA Huskies play a Pac-12 conference game Friday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET, and the game can be viewed on ESPN.
WASHINGTON HUSKIES vs. UCLA BRUINS BETTING PREDICTION
The Huskies of Washington hit the road for Southern California looking to remain unbeaten. After a 39-28 win over Michigan State on Sept. 17, the Huskies cracked the Top 25 rankings for the first time since Week 1 last season. Washington opened the Pac-12 conference schedule with a 40-22 victory over Stanford last week at Husky Stadium in Seattle, covering a 13.5-point number. Not only is U-Dub 4-0 SU, but it has covered all four games to date, too, while cashing the OVER in each outing. Backing Washington and the OVER has been a great recipe for parlays.
The Bruins of UCLA look to remain undefeated, too. UCLA has opened with four victories, although it had an unexpected close shave against South Alabama of the Sun Belt Conference. However, the Bruins pounded Colorado in Boulder by a 45-17 score in the league opener, and three of the team's four victories have been by 28 or more points, with the OVER cashing in three of the four games.

WASHINGTON HUSKIES BETTING ANALYSIS
The Huskies rank No. 1 in the nation in passing offense, going for 368.8 yards per game, while ranking No. 5 in the country with 530.8 total yards per game. Overall, Washington has scored 44.0 PPG to check in 12th in the country. On the defensive side of the ball, Washington has allowed just 89.0 yards per game to rank 18th in the country, while yielding 302.0 total yards per game to check in 22nd. The Huskies have allowed just 19.0 PPG to rank 35th, too. It has been a well-oiled machine so far, but the quality of competition is about to ramp up significantly.
Washington has won each of its four games by at least 11 points, and three of the four outings by 18 or more points. The pass game has been on fire, as QB Michael Penix Jr. has completed 64.3% of his passes for 1,388 yards, 12 touchdowns and just one interception. He and fellow transfer portal add RB Wayne Taualapapa (48-307-3) have been instant stars in Seattle.
Washington has not only covered all four games this season, but it is 9-4 ATS in the past 13 appearances on Friday. The Huskies are just 1-5 ATS in the past six games on the road, however, while going 3-9 ATS in the past 12 inside the conference. It must prove it can win consistently on the road before you shell out your hard-earned money on the Huskies outside of Seattle.
The OVER has cashed in all four games this season for Washington, and five straight overall. The UNDER is 5-1 in the past six Friday appearances, however, while going 19-6-1 in the past 26 games on the road.
UCLA BRUINS BETTING ANALYSIS
The Bruins might not have the top-ranked pass attack like the Huskies, but UCLA has a very balanced offense. It ranks 12th in total yards (508.3), 17th in rushing yards (287.8) and 30th in passing yards (287.8) per game.
QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson has jelled nicely with portal add WR Jake Bobo (15-221-1), as well as WR Kazmeir Allen (20-152-1). DTR can pull it down and run when he had to, also, going for 170 rushing yards, 8.1 yards per attempt and two scores, although RB Zach Charbonnet is the main threat on the ground (43-293-4).
UCLA has covered each of the past four games inside the conference, while going 5-2 ATS in the past seven games overall dating back to last season. That's the good news. The bad news is that the Bruins are 0-4 ATS in the past four appearances on Friday, while going 5-15-2 ATS in the past 22 against teams with a winning record.
In this series, UCLA has covered four of the past five meetings, while going 5-2 ATS in the past seven vs. Washington at the Rose Bowl. The OVER is 4-1 in the past five meetings, and 5-2 in the past seven in Pasadena, too.
