See All

Jordan Beck to Hit a Home Run (+450 | FanDuel) vs. (SP: Brandon Walter)

Let’s start in Coors Field, where the weather and hitting environment will be prime for some homers.

Beck has been a lone bright spot on this ailing Rockies team. Against lefties, Beck is hitting .333 with a .590 SLG, .963 OPS with a 153 wRC+. Additionally, he’s hit four home runs in 78 at-bats.

On the mound, he faces Brandon Walter, who has allowed five home runs in his four starts. From a contact standpoint, Walter has actually neutralized righties, but he has not been able to limit their power, as four of his five homers allowed have come against that same side.

Moreover, righties are slugging 50 points higher than their counterparts.

Andrew Benintendi to Hit a Home Run (+625 | bet365) vs. (SP: Dustin May)

At night, most recreational bettors, for better or worse, will be on a lot of Dodgers to go deep. However, we’ll target a hot White Sox hitter. Andrew Benintendi hit balls of 97.7 mph and 104.7 mph in two of his four at-bats last night.

Benintendi is slugging .424 against righties with seven home runs - he faces an ice-cold Dustin May. A once highly touted prospect, May has been derailed by injuries.

After some early-season success, May has slowly deteriorated, finishing June with a 5.67 ERA. May has been especially susceptible to giving up dingers, allowing four in his last two starts.
