To start things off, we have a chalky pick in Cal Raleigh, who is tied for 2nd in the league lead in home runs with 19. In terms of matchup, it doesn't get much better than Twins pitcher Zebby Matthews, who relinquished a staggering 11 home runs in just 37 innings of work in 2024.

Although he hasn't allowed a home run in 2025, he's only pitched seven innings thus far. Matthews leans mostly on three pitches: a fastball, a cutter, and a slider, where over 50% of his pitches have been a fastball in 2025. Matthews is in the 96th percentile in terms of fastball velocity, but that can be conducive to allowing hard hits.

Austin Wells to Hit a Home Run (+480 | FanDuel) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (SP: Tony Gonsolin)

In a rematch of the 2024 World Series, we like Austin Wells to go yard tonight in a juicy matchup. First and foremost, the wind will be blowing out in Dodger Stadium, which should give hitters some extra carry off the bat.

Next, in terms of pitching, Dodgers starter Tony Gonsolin has been holding on for dear life. Gonsolin has an xERA of 4.74 and is allowing 1.44 HR/9. Although Wells will be liable to potential swing-and-misses against Gonsolin's stuff, he sports a 63rd percentile or better in terms of average exit velocity, barrel, and hard hit percentage.

It also doesn't hurt that FanDuel is currently offering a generous price of +480, as most other sportsbooks have current odds around +400.

Andrew Benintendi to Hit a Home Run (+700 | bet365) vs. Baltimore Orioles (SP: Zach Eflin)

For one of our longer-shot picks, we'll turn to the Orioles-White Sox clash. Andrew Benintendi, who was a double shy of a cycle in yesterday's contest, is in a prime spot to go yard once again versus Zach Eflin.

Like most of the Orioles staff, Eflin has been a disaster in 2025. Although Eflin has a diverse pitching arsenal, over 55% of his pitch mix is some variation of a fastball (cutter, sinker, and four-seam). Benintendi has been great against fastballs, with an xSLG of .524 and an average EV of 90.5.

In addition, winds are blowing out at Oriole Park, which will benefit hitters.

Eric Wagaman to Hit a Home Run (+600 | FanDuel) vs. San Francisco Giants (SP: Kyle Harrison)

In our final pick for today's slate, we have an enticing longshot in the Marlins-Giants tilt. Eric Wagaman may not be a household name, but he's undoubtedly one of MLB's analytical darlings in the 2025 season thus far.

Credit to Baseball Savant

In terms of matchup, this one is risky, as the Giants have Kyle Harrison slated to start. Harrison opened the season as a long reliever and has since moved to the starting rotation. In his first start, Harrison lasted four innings and threw 57 pitches in a loss to the Nationals. The hope here is Harrison can last twice through this Miami lineup, which should be an excellent matchup for Wagaman.

Harrison mainly relies on two pitches: a fastball and a slurve as his off-speed pitch. Although Harrison throws harder than most, he has allowed a brutal 95.3 average exit velocity in 2025. In limited opportunities, Wagaman has mashed hard-throwing lefties. In 57 plate appearances, Wagaman has hit two home runs (both came off fastballs) with an xSLG of .827(!!) against those same pitches.
