Brandon Woodruff (MIL) Over 5.5 Strikeouts/Travis d'Arnaud (ATL) Over 0.5 Hits (-112)

Since returning from injury Brandon Woodruff has been good, like really good. Over the course of 3 starts he pitched 17 innings, allowed 4 runs, and struck out 27 batters. While we have to acknowledge that the Giants are a tougher matchup then the Pirates/Rays, the Giants still have multiple strikeout targets towards the bottom of their lineup (Im talking about you, Joey Bart). Woodruff has elite strikeout stuff, as noted by the insane 58.4%/47.5% whiff rates on his changeup and slider.

Deciding between Austin Riley and Travis d’Arnaud was really tough for me here. I’m heavily invested in the Braves today, and believe they will continue to take care of Patrick Corbin. Travis is definitely familiar with Corbin, as shown by is 6-16 (.375) record, and that checks out with his broader success vs LHP. d’Arnaud is batting .238 this season vs right handed pitcher and .339 vs left handed pitcher. He's coming in with 1+ hit in 18/L24 games and hitting .417 vs Washington this season, I expect that to continue tonight.
