C.J Cron (COL) Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)

I've been having success with these total bases props recently and I think today's slate is great for that market. Cron’s pricing seems very odd on Draftkings, +340 for a Homerun, -200 for a Hit, and +125 for 1.5 Total Bases. While Cron does have some red flags (most notably his home/road splits) we avoid that today at Coors Field, against a pitcher he’s comfortable with.

Cron is currently hitting .219 away and .337 at home this season, with even more drastic changes coming in the slugging department (.391 vs .639). In his career against Urias he went 7-20 with 2 HR’s, 2 Doubles, and a .364 xBA. Urias throws Fastball/Curveball/Changeup to RHP, and Cron is slugging .447/.962/.825 vs those 3 pitches. Urias is having a great season, but his .300+ OBA and 4+ ERA against the Rockies give me confidence that they see him well.

Anthony Santander (BAL) Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)

Since the Nationals have been struggling so much recently, I've turned my attention more towards the Orioles. Anthony Santander is someone who may not jump out on the stat sheet, but has been playing very well recently. He’s batting .333 with 2 HR’s and 1 Double over his last week, and is constantly hitting for power against left handed pitching (batting/slugging .274/.509).

Today he gets matched up against legendary gascan Mike Minor, who has allowed 14 HR’s in 48 innings this season, with a 1-6 record and a 6.65 ERA. Minor has specifically struggled against right handed batters allowing a .333 OBA/.682 SLG. He is quietly working on a 9 game hit streak, I think he extends that with a Homer tonight (+320).
