Tim Anderson (CWS) Over 0.5 Hits / Philadelphia Phillies F5 ML (-124)

Want to know why I bet on Tim Anderson everyday? Because he gets the job done everyday. Anderson is currently 5th in the MLB in batting average (.313) and has been very good after the All-Star break with a .333 average. Betting on White Sox batters vs Left-handed pitching has been a tradition this season, and now Anderson gets rookie Cole Ragans making his first career start. On the season, Anderson is batting .434 vs LHP, and gets an advantageous matchup against a rookie, and a Texas pen with multiple lefties. Anderson has 1+ hit in 20 of his last 22 games and a .324 road batting average, he should take care of business today.

What's another thing we like doing around these parts? Fading the Nationals. Noah Syndergaard is making his first start for the Phillies, and gets a great matchup against a Washington team that just lost Juan Soto and Josh Bell. Last time the Phillies faced Paolo Espino, they took care of business winning 11-0, Espino made it 3.2 IP allowing 4 ER, including 2 HR’s to Kyle Schwarber. The Nationals bullpen is tired and I could very well see Espino stretched out to around 5 innings, I think this helps our bet here because he tends to run into more trouble the second time around the lineup. The Phillies have a huge pitching mismatch here. I don't think Luke Voit is gonna be enough to help the Nationals score more than 1 run here.
