The winner of this series will take on a red-hot Cavs team that just took down the Heat in historically lopsided fashion.

This potential series clincher just got a whole lot more daunting for the Bucks as they lost star guard Damian Lillard for the postseason and maybe even next season to a torn achilles.

Without Dame, the Bucks’ second-best player may be Kevin Porter Jr. Despite a strong effort in game 2, fan favorite Bobby Portis has struggled to get going, while Brook Lopez has provided years of elite floor spacing and rim protection; but in 2025, it appears those days are numbered.

After winning the title in 2021, the Bucks have made numerous attempts at retooling their team around Giannis Antetokounmpo to keep their championship window open. But it has resulted in a disastrous purgatory, where Milwaukee is not a serious threat to contend or rebuild anytime soon.

With rumors of Giannis potentially being shipped off starting to intensify, the distractions are very apparent for Milwaukee. In front of a raucous home crowd, the Bucks, similar to Miami last night, may be in a spot where they could quit on their season.
