This past Monday was the Cade Cunningham show. After he turned in a disappointing shooting performance in game one, the 2025 All-Star shot an efficient 11-for-21 from the field and was able to get into the paint at will against a leaky Knicks interior.

Going into this one, the Knicks will be keen on making sure Cunningham isn’t the one who beats them. I’m expecting the Knicks to throw more doubles and disrupt any high pick-and-rolls to have the ball leave Cade’s hands.

As a result of this, Malik Beasley should be the beneficiary of a lot of open looks. Beasley is coming off a brutal 1-for-8 night from beyond the arc in game two, but the volume should be there as he hoisted up another 12 3's in game one.

Beasley is a volatile player, but you should expect his best tonight in front of this Detroit home crowd. It also doesn’t hurt that he may feel like he has something to prove after he lost Sixth Man of the Year honors to Payton Pritchard this past week.

Beasley is a lock for 30+ minutes and plenty of volume. In a game that could go either way, let’s target a fun player prop.
