NBA Player Props betting can include many different styles of wagering, but the most common is total betting. NBA players are given a set total in which bettors can wager on whether or not the player goes OVER or UNDER the given total. This total typically includes points, rebounds and assists. 

These prop bets are available for individual games, but the average total is available in the futures market. Futures market player prop betting only includes a player's regular-season average, and doesn't include the postseason.

If Anthony Davis is given a total to average 27.5 points per game this season, his stats for this market will end on the last day of the regular-season. Davis would have to average 28 points per game or more for OVER bettors to win. He would need to average 27 points per game or less for UNDER bettors to hit.
