In the last night of games before the NBA All-Star break, fans are in for a treat with a potential Western Conference playoff preview between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves, who will battle tonight on TNT/truTV/Max at 8:40 PM EST.

The Thunder currently boast the best odds to hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy as current MVP favorite, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the way.

We're in for a treat as SGA will square off against one of the game's great rising stars in Anthony Edwards.

As we stated above, the Thunder have the best odds to win the 2025 NBA title and it's not hard to see why.

Led by SGA, the Thunder lead the NBA in points per game playing at a relentless pace, forcing more turnovers than any other defense in the Association. OKC has the top-end talent of Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams, but it's their depth, led by the likes of Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe, and offseason acquisition Alex Caruso that really separates them.

On the other end, Minnesota has been one of the more disappointing teams in basketball. The T-Wolves currently stand as the 7-seed at 30-25 as the trade for Julius Randle hasn't worked out according to plan.

However, Minnesota will be without the services of Randle and Donte DiVincenzo in this one.

Both teams are playing on the back end of a back-to-back. Minnesota is coming off a devastating two-point loss, while OKC had a huge come-from-behind victory last night against the Miami Heat.

With both teams coming off emotional games from the night before, this feels like a bit of a letdown spot. Instead of attacking a side on the spread, we'll look to the over. Each team has a number of contributors on the bench that can chip in as the Wolves integrate rookies Rob Dillingham and Terrence Shannon Jr. more into the rotation.

Considering the pace the Thunder play at, and some tired legs from the night before, you can expect plenty of points on the board for tonight's game.
