UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Boston could and perhaps should be losing this series 2-1. But the reality is that the Celtics can close out Indiana tonight and advance to the NBA Finals. In Game 3, Boston went on a 13-2 game-ending run to post a 114-111 victory as 7.5-point road chalk.

While the Celts lead the series 3-0, they're 1-2 ATS vs. the Pacers. In fact, Jayson Tatum & Co. are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games, dating to the first-round series vs. Cleveland.

Prior to Game 3, BetMGM had Boston a huge -10000 and Indiana +3000 in Pacers vs Celtics series odds. With Game 4 tipping shortly, you can't even bet the Celtics to win the series, but you can get Indiana at +10000 (100/1).

"We're cheering for the Celtics, and a sweep would be the best result for us. But we'd prefer some more games for customers to bet on," BetMGM trader Hal Egeland said.

As for tonight's Game 4, BetMGM opened at Boston -7.5 and made a couple treks to -8.5 (-105) Sunday. The line then backed up to Celtics -7.5 (-105), and it's now -7.5 flat. Indiana star Tyrese Haliburton missed Game 3 and will sit out Game 4, as well.

BetMGM opened the moneyline at Celtics -300/Pacers +240 and shortened to Celts -275/Pacers +230. In the wake of this afternoon's news that Haliburton is out, it's now at Boston -300/Indiana +230.

"The Pacers are taking a little bit more money on the spread, but that could change by game time," Egeland said. "Even though the Celtics winning and covering is a better result for us tonight, we'd like to see the Pacers extend the series a bit. We'd like the bettors to get at least one more crack at this series."
