Week 12 of the NFL season continues with a heavyweight AFC South clash between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans. The betting odds see Houston as a short home underdog despite posting wins in four of their last five games. Coverage begins from NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday, November 26 at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Houston Texans Odds

• Opening point spread: Pick
• Opening moneyline: Jaguars -115/Texans -105
• Opening total: Over/Under 46 points scored
• Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 10 A.M. ET SUNDAY: With kickoff three hours out, Jacksonville is -1.5 in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 12 market. The Jaguars opened -1 last Sunday, went to -1.5 Sunday, returned to -1 early this morning, then went to -1.5 again.

Jacksonville is landing 54% of spread tickets/71% of spread money.

The total opened at 46.5 and quickly advanced to 47 Sunday, then 47.5/48 Monday. It topped out at 48.5 Tuesday, fell back to 47.5 Thursday, then got back to 48.5 this morning.

It's now at 48, with tickets 2/1 and money 6/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: This game jumped the fence at TwinSpires, opening at Texans -1 and now at Jags -1.5. Jacksonville is seeing 54% of early spread bets/65% of early spread money.

"Sharp play on Jags +1," Lucas said.

The total climbed from 46.5 to 48.5, with 63% of tickets/59% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Houston (6-4 SU/5-5 ATS) continues to surprise behind rookie QB C.J. Stroud. In Week 11, the Texans held off Arizona 21-16, but couldn't quite cover as 5.5-point home faves.

Jacksonville (7-3 SU and ATS) had no issue winning and covering against Tennessee. The Jags scored the first 27 points en route to a 34-14 victory laying 6.5 points at home.

"We took sharp action on the lookahead in favor of Houston. And while the Texans failed to impress today in a home win over Arizona, it really is amazing the difference in power rating from the start of the year to now," Michaelson said. "For context, before the season started, we had this game lined Jacksonville -4.5. Most of the market has Jacksonville favored at the moment, so depending on what action we get, we might go that direction."
