Week 16 of the NFL season continues with a non-conference matchup that somebody has to win between the Washington Commanders and New York Jets. The betting odds see New York as a 3.5-point favorite to bounce back from an ugly loss to Miami last week. Coverage begins from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday, December 24 at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS.

Washington Commanders vs New York Jets Odds

• Opening point spread: Jets -2.5
• Opening moneyline: Jets -155/Commanders +135
• Opening total: Over/Under 38 points scored
• Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET FRIDAY: New York has been painted to -3 all week at BetMGM, with only a couple juice adjustments early on. The Jets are currently -3 flat while taking 59% of bets, with 63% of money actually on the Commanders.

On the moneyline, it's 2/1 tickets and 3/1 cash on Washington.

The total opened at 37.5, got to 38 briefly Tuesday and fell to 37 by Wednesday afternoon. It's practically all Under action, with tickets and money in the 8/1 range.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: A week after routing Houston, New York returned to form on the wrong end of a rout at Miami. The Jets (5-9 SU/5-8-1 ATS) were blanked 30-0 as 7-point underdogs.

Washington (4-10 SU/5-8-1 ATS) lost to the L.A. Rams 28-20 catching 6.5 points on the road. The Commanders are on an 0-5 SU/0-4-1 ATS purge.

The Jets-Commanders line moved from New York -2.5 to -3 tonight at The SuperBook.
