UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: ESPNBet pegged Buffalo as 6-point chalk to open and is now at -5.5, a few hours before kickoff. The Bills are netting 67% of spread bets/58% of spread money.

The total opened at 46.5, and that's where it rests now, with 60% of bets/64% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 5 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Buffalo opened -4.5 and is up to -5.5 in Fanatics Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 3 market.

"We might move out more toward that touchdown number as we get closer to game time," Fanatics NFL trader Ethan Useloff said.

However, Useloff noted that early spread money is actually running pretty even. The moneyline is where the big disparity is, despite the Bills' -225 price. Buffalo is attracting 93% of moneyline dollars/90% of moneyline bets.

UPDATE 12:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: There's been movement toward the underdog early this week at The SuperBook. Buffalo opened -5 and went to -6 right away Sunday night. Monday brought a move to Bills -5.5, and the line went to Bills -5 this morning.

The total nudged from 46 to 45.5 Monday.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Buffalo (2-0 SU/1-1 ATS) put a hurt on Miami in multiple ways in the Week 2 Thursday night game. The Bills rolled to a 31-10 victory as 2.5-point road underdogs. In the process, Buffalo sidelined Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa with a concussion.

Jacksonville (0-2 SU/1-1 ATS) remains in a rut that began in Week 13 last season. The Jaguars closed as 3-point home favorites vs. Cleveland and lost 18-13. Trevor Lawrence & Co. are 1-7 SU/2-6 ATS in their last eight games.

Buffalo advanced from -5 to -6 tonight on The SuperBook's NFL Week 3 odds board.

"The Bills looked pretty good on Thursday. They looked like the old Bills," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "Jacksonville has talent, but this is a bad spot for the Jaguars. With a Monday doubleheader, everyone will go with Bills-Bengals parlay and go to sleep."

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET MONDAY: With six hours until kickoff, Cincinnati is at -7.5 (-105) in Fanatics Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 3 market. The Bengals opened -8 a week ago and bottomed out at -7.

Spread tickets and money are in the 2/1 range on Cincy. Despite the -350 price, the Bengals are also getting hit on the moneyline, at 63% of tickets/91% of cash.

"Despite the 0-2 start, bettors clearly are not shying away from the Bengals," Fanatics Sportsbook senior editor Max Meyer said. “Cincy moneyline action hasn’t been slowing down, even with all of the bigger favorites going down yesterday.

"A lot of people saw [the Bengals] go toe-to-toe with the Super Bowl favorite Chiefs last weekend. They also get Tee Higgins back, which should definitely help open up the offense."

The total dropped from a 48.5 opener to 46.5. Action still favors the Over, at 60% of tickets/66% of money.

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET FRIDAY: ESPNBet pegged the Bengals as 7.5-point favorites to open, and Cincy is now -7.5 (-105). Cincinnati is landing 70% of early spread bets and 71% of early spread money.

Bettors are even laying the price on Bengals moneyline, currently -350. Cincinnati is getting 61% of bets and 88% of cash on the moneyline.

ESPNBet opened the total at 47.5, and it's currently at 47.5 (Under -120). The Under is taking 69% of bets, while 58% of money is on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Cincinnati (0-2 SU/1-1 ATS) gave Kansas City all it could handle, but couldn't come away with a big road win. The Bengals were 6.5-point road underdogs and lost 26-25 on a final-seconds 51-yard field goal.

Washington (1-1 SU and ATS) didn't score a single touchdown in Week 2, yet mustered a 21-18 home win over the New York Giants. The Commanders had seven field goals and covered as 1.5-point favorites.

Cincy opened -7 vs. Washington and moved to -7.5/-8 within two hours tonight.

"Cincinnati is 100% in a Baltimore situation," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said, alluding to the Bengals being in a must-win situation. "No one expects Cincinnati to lose this game. This line is gonna go as high as it can until we get pushback.

"We will need Washington. There's not a reasonable number to where we won't need Washington."

UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: With 50 minutes until kickoff, the Chiefs are -3 (-115) in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 3 market. Kansas City opened -4.5 (-115) last Sunday, went to -3.5 Tuesday and -3 Thursday.

In digital wagering (mobile/online) at BetMGM, it's 3/1 spread tickets and 2/1 spread money on the Chiefs. And bettors are laying the Chiefs on the moneyline too, with tickets 2.5/1 and money almost 5/1.

"It's Chiefs every which way. We certainly will be rooting for the Falcons in this one," BetMGM trader Christian Cipollini.

The total has been painted to 46.5 all week on two-way action. The Under is getting 55% of tickets, while 53% of cash is on the Over.

UPDATE 5 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Kansas City is down to 3-point chalk in Fanatics Sportsbook's odds for NFL Week 3. The Chiefs opened -4.5 for this Sunday night contest.

"You'd expect that not to stay at 3 flat for that long," Fanatics NFL trader Ethan Useloff said, noting the move from Chiefs -3.5 to -3 came Thursday night. "The line is moving in favor of Atlanta. But I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some shrewd money come in on the Chiefs -3."

And even with the downward line move, Kansas City is taking the bulk of money so far. On both the spread and moneyline, it's 95% cash on the Chiefs at Fanatics.

Useloff said the total has been stable at 46.5.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET TUESDAY: Atlanta (1-1 SU and ATS) was yet another team pulling out a surprising Week 2 result. The Falcons went to Philly as 5.5-point underdogs Monday night and emerged with a 22-21 victory.

Kirk Cousins engineered a final-minutes touchdown drive to clinch the victory for Atlanta.

Chiefs-Falcons opened at K.C. -4.5 Sunday night at The SuperBook. On Monday, the line toggled between Chiefs -4.5/-4 a couple times. Then on Tuesday morning, it dipped to -3.5.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Kansas City (2-0 SU/1-1 ATS) played a barnburner against Cincinnati and barely came away unscathed. The Chiefs won 26-25 on a Harrison Butker 51-yard field goal as time expired. But K.C. failed to cover as 6.5-point home chalk.

Atlanta (0-1 SU and ATS) still needs to finish out Week 2. The Falcons are 5.5-point road underdogs vs. Philadelphia on Monday night.

K.C. opened -4.5 vs. Atlanta, with no movement so far. Likewise, the total is stable at 46.5.

"We'll need Atlanta, as I'm sure you can predict," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "The Chiefs are 2-0 by the skin of their teeth. We don't want to push this line too high, or the wiseguys will snap it up."

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Baltimore is laying 1.5 in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 3 market. The line bounced between Ravens -1/pick throughout the week before advancing to Ravens -1.5 this morning.

"Sharp play on Ravens -1," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "This is nice. I like to get a game where it's arguably the biggest game of the week, and it's almost at a pick 'em.

"A lot of money on both sides. But right now, we need Dallas. As today has gone on, our position has gotten more to needing Dallas. Late tickets coming in on the Ravens."

UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: This matchup has hovered around pick 'em all week on Fanatics Sportsbook's NFL Week 1 odds board. The Ravens are seeing 95% of early spread money/72% of early moneyline cash.

"There's a lot of money on Baltimore. It's tough to think that John Harbaugh and that group, with reigning MVP Lamar Jackson, go from the No. 1 seed last season to 0-3 this year," Fanatics NFL trader Ethan Useloff said.

Useloff noted Maryland is an active market for Fanatics, while Texas doesn't yet have legal sports betting. But that doesn't necessarily explain the lopsided action.

"Cowboys fans are scattered all around the country," he said.

Fanatics opened the total at 48.5 and is down to 47.5.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: DraftKings opened at Dallas -1 (-105) and within a couple hours Sunday flipped to Ravens -1 (-105). The line peaked at Baltimore -1.5 Tuesday and has been at Ravens -1 since Wednesday morning.

Baltimore is netting 64% of spread tickets/70% of spread money. And moneyline numbers are the exact same for the Ravens: 64% of tickets/70% of money.

The total opened at 48.5 and stuck there most of the first half of the week, save for a short stint at 49. This morning, it receded to 48 in DK's NFL odds Week 3 market, with 56% of tickets on the Over and money running almost dead even.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Dallas (1-1 SU and ATS) looked great in Week 1 on the road, then shockingly got run out its home stadium in Week 2. The Cowboys let the Saints run out to a 35-13 halftime lead and ultimately lost 44-19 giving 6.5 points.

Which makes this Week 3 battle a matchup of teams coming off stunning upsets. Baltimore (0-2 SU and ATS) was 8.5-point home chalk against Las Vegas. But the Ravens tumbled 26-23, losing on a final-minute Raiders field goal.

Ravens-Cowboys opened Baltimore -1 on The SuperBook's NFL Week 3 odds board. Almost immediately, the line went to pick tonight, but it moved back to Ravens -1 within an hour.

"This is the ultimate must-win for Baltimore. The Ravens can't start 0-3," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "I think the Ravens are considered the better team. The Ravens are still highly power-rated, and there were people playing the Ravens tonight."

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The 49ers are laying 6 points on the NFL Week 3 odds board at The SuperBook. That's after San Fran opened -5.5, quickly shot to -7.5, then dialed down to -7 Thursday and -6 this morning.

"It's a pretty lightly bet game," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "I don't think people know what to do with this game, with all the skill-position players hurt. It's not much of a decision, but we're rooting for the 'dog. And 'dog moneyline would be nice."

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: DraftKings opened and spent much of the week so far at 49ers -7. But the line briefly got to San Fran -8 Monday afternoon, and it fell down to -6.5 this afternoon.

San Francisco is drawing 64% of spread tickets/72% of spread money early.

The total opened at 47.5 and fell all the way to 43 by Tuesday afternoon, with multiple stops along the way. Ticket count is dead even, and 77% of money is on the Under.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: San Francisco (1-1 SU and ATS) was yet another surprising Week 2 upset victim, though it wasn't as big a favorite as Baltimore, Detroit or Dallas. Minus Christian McCaffrey (calf/Achilles), the 49ers closed as 4-point favorites at Minnesota and lost 23-17.

McCaffrey was placed on injured reserve Saturday and will miss at least three more games.

Los Angeles (0-2 SU and ATS) was practically never in it at Arizona. The Rams trailed 14-0 midway through the first quarter and 24-3 at halftime, en route to a 41-10 blowout loss.

The 49ers-Rams line moved in a hurry tonight at The SuperBook.

"We opened 49ers -5.5 and got to -7.5 within five minutes. That was pretty quick," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "Obviously, I get that the 49ers lost today. But the Rams are a mess right now, with all the injuries."

L.A. wideout Puka Nacua is out with a PCL injury, and fellow wideout Cooper Kupp suffered an ankle injury in the Week 2 loss. The Rams are also shorthanded on the offensive line.

All that was enough to get bettors to jump on the Niners tonight.

"Anybody can open a number wrong. What's important is that we got to the right number, 7.5, quickly. We didn't dilly-dally," Michaelson said.

The total was on the move tonight, as well, dropping from 47 to 44.5, then setting at 45.

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: With kickoff near, the Lions are -3 (even) at The SuperBook. Detroit opened -3.5, but spent pretty much all week at -3, at various juice.

"This is a pretty solid game that's flying under the radar," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "Right now, we actually need Detroit. More money on Arizona, and sharp money on Over 51."

The total is at 51.5, after opening at 52, going to 51 Monday and hitting a high of 53 Tuesday.

UPDATE 11 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Lions are laying 3 points on DraftKings' NFL Week 3 odds board. Detroit opened -3.5 (-105) Sunday and toggled between -3/-2.5 at various juice the past three days. It's now Lions -3 (-102).

Spread tickets are running almost dead even, while 56% of spread cash is on Detroit.

The total opened at 51.5, bottomed out at 51 Monday afternoon and peaked at 52.5 Monday night. It's now at 51.5, with 66% of early tickets/79% of early money on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Detroit (1-1 SU SU and ATS) has been among the best teams on the field and at the betting window since the middle of the 2022 season. Yet in Week 1, the Lions needed overtime to cover in a 26-20 win over the L.A. Rams, and in Week 2, the Lions lost outright.

After closing as 7.5-point chalk, Detroit lost a low-scoring tug-of-war with Tampa Bay 20-16. Neither team scored in the fourth quarter.

Arizona (1-1 SU/2-0 ATS) unleashed rookie wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. on the L.A. Rams. Harrison had two TD catches in the first quarter, and the Cardinals hammered Los Angeles 41-10 as 1-point home favorites.

Lions-Cards opened at Detroit -3.5 in The SuperBook's NFL odds for Week 3. The Lions are already down to -3. The total opened at 52, went to 51.5, then returned to 52.

UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: As kickoff approaches, the Seahawks are -3.5 at The SuperBook. That's down from the Seattle -5 opener and -6.5 high point, both from last Sunday. The number was down to Seahawks -4.5 Tuesday, and it went to -4/3.5 today.

"We'll be rooting for the favorite. A lot of money on Miami +4.5 in the last 24 hours. There are more tickets on the favorite, but a lot of bigger bets on the 'dog," SuperBook executive director John Murray said.

The total is at 41.5 from a 42.5 opener and 41 low point. But Murray said it's not much of a decision.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Seahawks hit DraftKings' NFL odds Week 3 market as 6-point home favorites. That's in no small part due to Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) going on injured reserve.

Shortly after opening Sunday, the line went to Seattle -6.5. But it's been on the decline since, to -5.5/-5 Monday and -4.5 Tuesday. The Seahawks are seeing 65% of early spread bets and 55% of early spread money.

DK's total opened at 44 and almost immediately dropped to 42. The number bottomed out at 41 Monday and has been at 41.5 since Tuesday evening. The Under is taking 56% of bets/79% of cash.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Miami (1-1 SU/0-2 ATS) is in a bad spot early on this season. In Week 2, the Dolphins got drilled by Buffalo 31-10 as 2.5-point home favorites.

Bigger still, Miami QB Tua Tagovailoa suffered yet another concussion. Tagovailoa, who exited in the third quarter, is expected to at least miss Week 3 and perhaps more.

Seattle (2-0 SU/0-1-1 ATS) hasn't covered a spread yet, but is surely content with the first two weeks. The Seahawks edged New England 23-20 on a field goal with 4:37 remaining, but pushed as 3-point road faves.

The SuperBook opened the Seahawks -5 tonight and quickly advanced to -6.5, before settling at -6 on the NFL Week 2 odds board. There was a modest nudge on the total, from 42.5 to 42.

UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Las Vegas is -5.5 in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 3 market. Raiders-Panthers opened a week ago at Las Vegas -7 and bottomed out at -4.5 Wednesday.

The Raiders climbed back to -6 Friday and receded to -5.5 this morning.

"We're definitely gonna be rooting for Carolina. That's our biggest need of the late games," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "The public is very eager to go against the Panthers. A lot of tickets and money on the Raiders. And sharp money on Raiders -5 early in the week."

The SuperBook also saw respected money on Under 41.5. The total opened 38.5, and 41.5 was its high point. It's now at 40.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: It's already been an eventful week for Carolina. Second-year quarterback Bryce Young was benched Monday, in the wake of Sunday's 26-3 home loss to the L.A. Chargers. So longtime NFL QB Andy Dalton will start against the Raiders.

That's led to some interesting back-and-forth action and corresponding line moves at Fanatics Sportsbook. The Raiders opened as 7-point favorites, but since the Young news broke, the line dipped to Las Vegas -6.5/-6/-5.5.

"The Raiders easily had the most money of any team to cover [a] Week 3 spread before Young was benched," Fanatics senior editor Max Meyer said. “As soon as the news broke, Panthers +7 was hit hard. We finally started getting Raiders money again once the spread reached -5.5."

On Sunday night/Monday, before Young was benched, the Raiders were taking 77% of tickets/98% of money on the spread. Since the switch to Dalton, 63% of spread tickets/67% of spread dollars are on the Panthers. When the line was 7/6.5/6, Las Vegas took 96% of tickets/97% of money.

"There may not be a bigger indictment for where Young is as a quarterback than the subsequent line move and Panthers action from a guy like Dalton being named the new starter," Meyer said.

While the point spread shortened, the total climbed after the Young news. Fanatics opened at 38.5 and initially fell back to 38, but is now up to 40.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: In a Sunday of upsets, Las Vegas (1-1 SU and ATS) may well have pulled off the biggest one. The Raiders traveled to Baltimore as 8.5-point underdogs and returned home with a 26-23 outright victory.

Gardner Minshew & Co. trailed 23-13 with 12 minutes remaining, but the Raiders scored the final 13 points. Las Vegas won on Daniel Carlson's 38-yard field goal with 27 seconds left.

Carolina (0-2 SU and ATS) went an NFL-worst 2-15 SU last season and isn't looking much better so far this season. In Week 2, the Panthers lost to the L.A. Chargers 26-3 catching 4.5 points at home.

The SuperBook opened Panthers-Raiders at Las Vegas -7 and remains there. The total inched from 38.5 to 38 in the NFL odds Week 3 market.

New Orleans was at -3 (even) from Thursday until this morning. It's two-way spread play with a modest lean toward the Saints on straight bets, at 56% of tickets/55% of money.

But the Eagles and plenty more underdogs are key for BetMGM today.

"We're pulling for nearly every underdog in the Sunday slate. The public is all over the chalk today," BetMGM trader Christian Cipollini said.

The total opened at 47.5 and peaked at 49.5 Monday, Wednesday and this morning. BetMGM is seeing 65% of tickets on the Over, but 61% of cash is on the Under.

UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: A week ago, there were lookahead lines of Eagles -3/-3.5 in the NFL odds Week 3 market. By Tuesday morning, Fanatics Sportsbook and others had jumped the fence to Saints -2, and Fanatics made a stop at -2.5 on the way to -3.

"At -2.5, 71% of money and 62% of tickets were on the Saints. That's what pushed us out to 3 flat, all the action coming in on New Orleans," Fanatics NFL trader Ethan Useloff said.

On the moneyline, currently Saints -150/Eagles +125, Useloff said tickets and money are pretty even. The total is up to 49.5 from a 47.5 opener.

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: This game is already on track for the big line mover of the week, thanks to the Eagles' stunning Monday night home loss to Atlanta.

Last week on the lookahead line, TwinSpires Sportsbook had Philadelphia as 3.5-point chalk. On Sunday, Philly was -3, and the line came off the board before the Eagles' Week 2 Monday night loss.

On Tuesday, the game went back on the board at Saints -1.5, and it's already out to Saints -3 (-118). New Orleans is attracting 73% of early spread bets/88% of early spread money.

"The public is backing this red-hot offense of New Orleans. There has been minimal buyback on Eagles +3," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET TUESDAY: Philadelphia (1-1 SU and ATS) was the final significant upset victim of Week 2. The Eagles closed as 5.5-point home favorites against Atlanta and stunningly gave up a last-minute touchdown to lose 22-21 Monday night.

Check out our DraftKings promo code for the big Eagles vs. Saints matchup!

Before that loss, The SuperBook was already down to Philly -1.5 vs. New Orleans, getting there Monday afternoon after opening at -3. Then today, the line jumped the fence to Saints -1.5/-2.5 before topping out at -3 (even).

It's now New Orleans -2.5 (-116), with The SuperBook dealing its special reduced juice. So Philadelphia is +2.5 (even).

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: New Orleans (2-0 SU and ATS) dealt one of the more surprising wins of Week 2. The Saints went to Dallas as 6.5-point pups and rolled to a 44-19 victory.

Alvin Kamara was the linchpin, rushing for 115 yards and three TDs.

Philadelphia (1-0 SU and ATS) still has Week 2 work to do. The Eagles are 5.5-point favorites vs. Atlanta in the Monday night game.

Last week, The SuperBook had an Eagles-Saints lookahead line of Philly -3.5. Tonight, the game reopened at Eagles -3, and it's already down to -2.5 in the NFL odds Week 3 market.

"Going from 3.5 [last week] to 2.5 is a huge move. To go fully through 3 is pretty significant. That's from the Saints' performance. Those are directly correlated," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "The Saints look good. We took some Saints action at 3 tonight. Getting points at home, that's attractive.

"But the Eagles are public team, much more so than the Saints. My guess is we'll see a lot of parlays to the Eagles."

The total is on the move tonight, too, going from 47.5 to 49.5, with stops at 48 and 49 along the way.

Chicago (1-1 SU/2-0 ATS) hung around all Sunday night in Houston. But in the end, Caleb Williams and the Bears fell short 19-13 as 6.5-point pups.

Indy opened -2.5 tonight at The SuperBook. But once Bears-Texans kicked off, Bears-Colts came off the board. The line will go back up Monday.

"Indianapolis was not too inspiring today," Michaelson said. "A 2.5 spread is indicative of pretty evenly matches teams. These are two teams with higher expectations, who are not off to good starts."

The SuperBook opened the Jets -6.5 tonight in odds for NFL Week 3, briefly went to -7, then returned to -6.5.

"I'll say this: The Patriots have impressed people. Expectations were so low before the season," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "We took some Jets money tonight at 6.5 and got some back on the Patriots at 7.

"The public will be on the Jets, because Aaron Rodgers is still Aaron Rodgers. And the public does not believe in the Patriots at all."

That said, Michaelson noted a scheduling quirk that's working against Rodgers & Co.

"I think sharps will like the angle of the Jets having three games in 11 days, with all the travel," Michaelson said, alluding to New York flying to San Fran to open, going to Tennessee in Week 2 and now on a short week at home. "We will get some Patriots money there. But we'll probably still be rooting for the Patriots."
