NFL odds for Week 5 are short a couple of games, with the first week of byes this season. But there are still a few notable contests among 14 matchups.

There's only one matchup remaining in odds for NFL Week 5: New Orleans Saints vs. Kansas City Chiefs, on Monday Night Football.

New Orleans Saints vs Kansas City Chiefs Odds

• Opening point spread: Chiefs -5.5
• Opening moneyline: Chiefs -240/Saints +200
• Opening total: Over/Under 43 points scored
• Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Monday (ESPN)

UPDATE 7:15 P.M. ET MONDAY: With kickoff one hour out, Kansas City is 5.5-point chalk on BetMGM's NFL Week 5 odds board. That's where the Chiefs opened eight days ago.

In between, K.C. hit -6 briefly last Monday and again Wednesday. But the Chiefs have been at -5.5 since Wednesday afternoon.

"The Chiefs lead the money, but the amount of money has been surprising for the Saints. New Orleans is getting good support today on the spread and the moneyline," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said. "I still think we will want the Saints by kickoff. And we always want the Under."

A big reason for the Saints need: parlays and moneyline parlays live to the Chiefs tonight.

The total opened at 43, bottomed out at 42 last Monday, peaked at 43.5 Wednesday and has been at 43 since Thursday.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET MONDAY: A few hours before kickoff, Fanatics Sportsbook has the Chiefs as 5.5-point favorites in Week 5 NFL odds. That's where the number opened on Sept. 29, and the line briefly touched -6 before falling as low as -4.5.

Interestingly, the underdog Saints are attracting 62% of spread bets/79% of spread money. Further, 71% of moneyline bets/79% of moneyline dollars are on New Orleans.

"I think a lot of bettors are wary about laying this many points with the Chiefs," Fanatics Sportsbook senior editor Max Meyer said. "Even though they’re one of the best teams in the NFL, they’ve been scraping by to start. All four of their wins this season have been by one score.

"The offense hasn’t looked explosive at all, and Kansas City is now without Rashee Rice."

Indeed, Rice (knee) is out at least four weeks after getting injured in Week 4. And the Chiefs lost star running back Isiah Pacheco to a broken leg in Week 2.

Fanatics opened the total at 42.5 and it's now 43, with 53% of bets on the Under/57% of cash on the Over.

UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: DraftKings opened the Chiefs -5.5 and got as high as -6/as low as -4.5 early last week. The line has been steady at K.C. -5.5 since Wednesday morning.

Perhaps surprisingly, the Saints are netting 62% of early spread bets, while spread money is running dead even. But don't be surprised Monday if the public comes crashing in on the Chiefs, if not on straight bets, then certainly on parlays and such.

And any live moneyline parlays from the weekend will almost assuredly run to Kansas City.

DK opened the total at 43, bottomed out Monday at 42 and peaked at 43.5 multiple times in the past week. It's now 43, with 72% of bets on the Over/58% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Kansas City is laying 5.5 in TwinSpires Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 5 market, after opening at -5. The Saints are actually seeing 54% of early spread tickets, while 60% of early spread money is on the Chiefs.

"Sharp play on Kansas City -5," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

The total opened and is currently at 43.5, with 64% of tickets on the Under/62% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Kansas City (4-0 SU/2-1-1 ATS) didn't exactly light it up against a banged-up L.A. Chargers outfit. But the Chiefs scratched out a 17-10 win, pushing as 7-point road favorites.

New Orleans (2-2 SU/3-1 ATS) got an Alvin Kamara TD run with a minute left to take a 24-23 lead at Atlanta. But the Saints couldn't make it hold up, losing 26-24 on a final-seconds 58-yard field goal.

Saints-Chiefs opened as K.C. -5.5 and fell to -5 after a couple hours tonight. The total saw more movement, going from 43 to 44, then falling to 43.5/42.5 in the NFL odds Week 5 market.

"K.C. just keeps winning and looking worse every week doing it. The public will bet them this week. But I wouldn't be surprised to see the sharps on New Orleans, with all of K.C.'s injuries," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said.

The Chiefs lost running back Isiah Pacheco to a broken fibula in Week 2. In Week 4, wideout Rashee Rice suffered a knee injury. Rice will have an MRI on Monday, and he could be shelved for the season

"The Chiefs are like Northwestern Mutual, though. The public trusts Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, and the other players are just details," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "Taylor Swift was absent in L.A. today. We need to check the Eras Tour schedule."

Dallas Cowboys vs Pittsburgh Steelers Odds

• Opening point spread: Steelers -2.5
• Opening moneyline: Steelers -135/Cowboys +115
• Opening total: Over/Under 41 points scored

UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: As kickoff approaches, the Steelers are -2.5 (-115) in NFL Week 5 odds at BetMGM. Pittsburgh opened -1.5 last Sunday, toggled between -2/-2.5 Monday and has been stable at -2.5 (various juice) since Monday night.

"There's a slight lean handle-wise for the Steelers," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said. "We can cheer for the Cowboys tonight. And we always want the Under."

The total opened at 41, peaked at 43.5 (Over -120) midweek and is now 43.5 flat.

UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Pittsburgh opened as 2-point chalk in ESPNBet's NFL odds Week 5 market and is now -2.5 (-120). The Steelers are seeing 54% of early spread bets, but 67% of early spread money is on the Cowboys.

The total is up to 43.5 (Over -115) from a 41.5 opener, with 76% of bets/73% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: TwinSpires opened the Steelers -2 and is up to -2.5 for the Sunday night game. Pittsburgh is netting 54% of early spread bets/64% of early spread dollars.

"It's a mix of public and sharp play on the Steelers," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

The total opened at 42 and made a stop at 43 on the way to 44. But it's rather modest Over action to this point, at 53% of tickets/61% of money.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Dallas (2-2 SU/1-3 ATS) wasn't exactly impressive in the Week 4 Thursday nighter, but halted a two-game SU skid. The Cowboys were 5.5-point road favorites vs. the New York Giants and held on for a 20-15 victory.

Pittsburgh (3-1 SU and ATS) finally took its first setback of the season. The Steelers were 2.5-point favorites at Indianapolis and couldn't overcome a 17-0 first-half deficit, losing 27-24.

Pittsburgh opened -2.5 vs. Dallas on The SuperBook's NFL Week 5 odds board. Within about 30 minutes tonight, the Steelers receded to -2. The total climbed from 41 to 41.5/42.

"The Steelers' defense looked mortal today, which is interesting," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "Dallas is kind of lollygagging through the first four weeks of the season. But the Cowboys are still in decent position.

"We'll probably need Dallas. It feels like this game should be played during the day at the Orange Bowl or Sun Devil Stadium."

Green Bay Packers vs Los Angeles Rams Odds

• Opening point spread: Packers -3.5
• Opening moneyline: Packers -180/Rams +160
• Opening total: Over/Under 45.5 points scored
• Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The SuperBook has Green Bay -3 (-108)/Los Angeles +3 (-108) with its reduced juice in NFL Week 5 odds. Green Bay opened -3.5 last Sunday and has been at some version of -3 since Tuesday.

"Very lopsided ticket count and lopsided money count. The public is firmly on Green Bay," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "Other than Washington and Seattle, Green Bay is the most public team for us this week.

"Rams outright would be exactly what we're rooting for. Because a lot of those moneyline parlays include Green Bay in them."

The total opened at 45.5, quickly went to 47 last Sunday and has since made its way up to 49.5.

"Really sharp money on Over 47, and that total has climbed quite a bit. A lot of tickets on the Over. We want the Under," Murray said.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Packers opened -3 in DraftKings Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 5 market, then toggled to -3.5 a couple times early in the week. Green Bay is now -3 (even), with 71% of early tickets/69% of early money on the visiting Pack.

The total opened at 47 and fell back to 46.5 Sunday night. But it's crept up ever since, peaking at 49 Wednesday night. The Over is taking a modest majority 57% of tickets, but that's translating into 93% of money.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Green Bay (2-2 SU and ATS) got Jordan Love back under center, but found itself down 28-0 in the second quarter. Love helped the Packers rally, but it wasn't enough in a 31-29 loss giving 2.5 points at home.

Los Angeles (1-3 SU and ATS) couldn't carry the momentum from its Week 3 upset win over San Francisco. In Week 4, the Rams fell to Chicago 24-18 catching 3 points on the road.

Green Bay opened -3.5 vs. L.A. in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 5 market. The spread hasn't moved tonight, but the total made a stop at 46 on its way up to 47.

New York Giants vs Seattle Seahawks Odds

• Opening point spread: Seahawks -6
• Opening moneyline: Seahawks -260/Giants +220
• Opening total: Over/Under 41.5 points scored
• Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Seahawks opened -6, went to 6.5 midweek and -7 (-120) on Friday at The SuperBook. Seattle is now -7 (-108), with New York +7 (-108) as The SuperBook offers reduced juice in NFL odds for Week 5.

"The ticket count is the most lopsided of the weekend, even more than Washington. A lot of action on the Seahawks. A lot of moneyline parlays with Seattle," SuperBook executive director John Murray said.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Seattle (3-1 SU/1-2-1 ATS) suffered its first loss of the season in a Week 4 Monday night tilt at Detroit. The Seahawks fell 42-29 as 4-point underdogs.

Prior to that, on Sunday evening, DraftKings opened Giants-Seahawks at Seattle -6.5 in NFL odds for Week 5. The Seahawks have since spent the week toggling between -6.5/-6, and they're currently -6.5 (-115).

Seattle is attracting 71% of early spread bets/68% of early spread dollars.

The total opened at 41.5 and by Tuesday morning climbed to 43.5, where it remains this afternoon. The Over is taking 60% of bets/66% of cash.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Seattle (3-0 SU/1-1-1 ) still has to get through Week 4. The Seahawks travel to Detroit for a Monday night game.

New York (1-3 SU/2-2 ATS) stayed close with Dallas in the Week 4 Thursday night game. But the Giants ultimately fell short 20-15 while cashing as 5.5-point underdogs.

The SuperBook opened Giants-Seahawks at Seattle -6 and stuck there tonight. Likewise, the total is steady at 41.5.

Arizona Cardinals vs San Francisco 49ers Odds

• Opening point spread: 49ers -7
• Opening moneyline: 49ers -350/Cardinals +290
• Opening total: Over/Under 49 points scored
• Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Shortly before kickoff, San Francisco is -7 (-116) at The SuperBook, which offers reduced juice in its NFL odds Week 5 market. That means Arizona is +7 (even).

The Niners opened -7 and advanced to -7.5 last Sunday night. But the line returned to -7 Wednesday and hasn't moved since, despite clear betting consensus.

"We're definitely gonna want Arizona, at least to cover the spread. It's not as lopsided as Green Bay or Seattle, but it's pretty one-sided. And the moneyline parlays are going to the 49ers, too," SuperBook executive director John Murray said.

The total opened at 49, peaked at 50.5 and spent most of the week at 49.5. It returned to 49 Saturday morning, but Murray said there's not much of a decision.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Niners have been at -7.5 or -7, at various juice, since opening -7.5 flat Sunday evening. San Fran is now -7 (-115), with early spread tickets running dead even and 71% of early spread money on Arizona.

DraftKings opened the total at 49, peaked at 50.5 Monday and is now at 50. The Under is netting 53% of tickets/62% of money.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: San Francisco (2-2 SU and ATS) halted its two-game losing streak in Week 4. The Niners jumped out to a 20-0 first-half lead vs. New England and breezed to a 30-13 victory giving 10.5 points at home.

Arizona (1-3 SU/2-2 ATS) got run out its own stadium by Jayden Daniels and Washington. The Cardinals, who closed as 3.5-point faves, were down 27-7 in the third quarter and lost 42-14.

Cards-Niners opened at San Fran -7 in The SuperBook's odds for NFL Week 5. The spread is stable, and the total inched from 49 to 49.5 tonight.

Las Vegas Raiders vs Denver Broncos Odds

• Opening point spread: Broncos -1.5
• Opening moneyline: Broncos -135/Raiders +115
• Opening total: Over/Under 37.5 points scored
• Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Denver opened -2 at The SuperBook, went to -2.5 Monday and got to -3 (-116) Wednesday. The Broncos are now -3 (-108), with the Raiders +3 (-108) in The SuperBook's reduced juice point-spread odds.

"Denver is on that kind of stunning two-game winning streak," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "The big bets, the tickets and the money are all on Denver. We're gonna be rooting for the Raiders."

The total opened at 37.5, bottomed out at 35.5 Saturday and is now 36. Murray said there's no notable decision on the total.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Broncos hit DraftKings' Week 5 NFL odds market as 1.5-point favorites and climbed to -2/-2.5 Monday morning. Denver has since bounced between -2.5/-3 a few times and is now -2.5 (-115).

It's two-way spread play with a lean toward the Broncos, at 58% of early bets/56% of early money.

DraftKings' total opened at 37 and is now the lowest on the Week 5 board at 35.5 (Over -115). The total is also drawing two-way action, with 55% of bets/52% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Denver (2-2 SU/3-1 ATS) did next to nothing on the road against the New York Jets. And yet that was enough, as the Broncos claimed an ugly 10-9 upset as 8-point underdogs.

Denver got the winning points on a 47-yard Wil Lutz field goal with 8:55 remaining.

Las Vegas (2-2 SU and ATS) fell behind 10-0 to Cleveland in the first quarter. But the Raiders rebounded to win 20-16 as 2.5-point home underdogs.

The SuperBook opened Raiders-Broncos at Denver -1.5 and stuck there tonight. The total fell from 37.5 to 37.

Cleveland Browns vs Washington Commanders Odds

• Opening point spread: Commanders -3
• Opening moneyline: Commanders -160/Browns +140
• Opening total: Over/Under 43.5 points scored
• Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 10:45 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Washington opened -2.5 last Sunday at DraftKings and quickly advanced to -3/-3.5. The Commanders then spent the week bouncing between -3.5/3 at various juice.

Washington is now -3 flat in DK's NFL odds Week 5 market. The Commanders are taking 73% of spread bets/58% of spread dollars. Washington is a popular moneyline play, at 82% of bets/73% of money.

UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Commanders landed on ESPNBet's NFL Week 5 odds board as 3.5-point favorites, and that's where they sit tonight, at even money juice. It's all Washington with early spread betting, at 79% of tickets and 78% of cash.

Commanders moneyline, currently -170, is also popular in NFL picks at ESPNBet. Washington is getting 58% of moneyline tickets/76% of moneyline dollars.

The total opened at 43.5 and is at 43.5 (Over -115) tonight, with 77% of tickets/62% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Washington opened -3 and is up a notch to -3.5 in TwinSpires Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 5 market. The Commanders are grabbing 75% of early spread tickets/77% of early spread money.

"The Commanders are the biggest liability of the week so far. I can't recall the last time I said that," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

The total opened and is currently 43.5 at TwinSpires, with 67% of tickets/63% of cash on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Washington (3-1 SU and ATS) just might be the real deal, behind rookie QB Jayden Daniels. In Week 4, the Commanders went to Arizona as 3.5-point underdogs and hammered the Cardinals 42-14.

Daniels completed 26 of 30 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown, with one interception. And he also ran eight times for 47 yards and another TD. All that came after Daniels led Washington to a Week 3 Monday night win at Cincinnati.

Cleveland (1-3 SU and ATS) got out to a 10-0 first-quarter lead at Las Vegas. But the Browns didn't score again until a fourth-quarter fumble-recovery TD and lost 20-16 laying 2.5 points.

Commanders-Browns opened at Washington -3 and moved to -3.5 tonight at The SuperBook.

Buffalo Bills vs Houston Texans Odds

• Opening point spread: Bills -2.5
• Opening moneyline: Bills -115/Texans -105
• Opening total: Over/Under 46.5 points scored
• Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 11:15 A.M. ET SUNDAY: This line has bounced around all week at BetMGM. Buffalo opened as 2.5-point chalk, and within a few hours last Sunday night, the number jumped the fence to Houston -1.5.

On Monday morning, the Bills went to a 1-point favorite, but by Monday afternoon, it was Texans -1.5 again. Houston has been -1 at various juice since Friday and is currently -1 flat.

"We're taking more Bills action," BetMGM trader Christian Cipollini said.

UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: At Fanatics Sportsbook, Bills-Texans is the only spread to move multiple points from the opener in Week 5 NFL odds. Houston opened -1.5, and it's now at Buffalo -1.

Early bettors are definitely on Bills point spread with their NFL picks. Buffalo is landing 74% of spread tickets/81% of spread money. However, on the moneyline in NFL Week 5, Houston is taking more dollars than everyone except Minnesota.

Also a factor this week: Texans wideout Stefon Diggs playing against his former team for the first time.

"Bettors are really eyeing the revenge angle in this contest," Fanatics senior editor Max Meyer said. "There’s been really strong action on Stefon Diggs props. There have been more bets on those than this game’s spread or moneyline.

"It’s been particularly the Over for his receiving yards at 50.5 and 55.5, as well as his Overs on alternate receiving yards, at 95+ (+500) and 110+ (+1000)."

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET MONDAY: After the Bills got shellacked by the Ravens 35-10 on Sunday night, The SuperBook reassessed its line for the Bills-Texans game. Buffalo opened -2.5 Sunday evening, before the loss to Baltimore.

When Bills-Texans went back up this morning, it was with Buffalo a 1-point road favorite. The total remained 46.5 in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 5 market.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Houston is 3-1 SU, yet hasn't cashed this season at 0-4 ATS. But Texans nearly covered on final-seconds shenanigans vs. Jacksonville.

Trailing 20-17, Houston got a touchdown with 18 seconds left to go up 24-20. On the ensuing possession, the Jags had to play pitchy-woo-woo on the final play, which almost resulted in a safety. But officials ruled Travis Etienne down at the 1-yard line.

So the Texans failed to cover as 5.5-point home faves.

Buffalo (3-1 SU/2-2 ATS) got roughed up in the Week 4 Sunday night game. The Bills spotted Baltimore a 21-3 first-half lead and couldn't recover in a 35-10 beatdown as 2.5-point road pups.

The SuperBook opened Bills-Texans at Buffalo -2.5. There was no early movement, and that line came off the board once Bills-Ravens kicked off Sunday night. It will go back up Monday morning.

"The Texans are just not very good right now. They were incredibly lucky to beat Jacksonville today, and Buffalo was not lucky to beat Jacksonville last week," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said.

That noted, with Buffalo getting punished by Baltimore, Michaelson said late tonight that the Bills-Texans line would likely be shorter Monday morning.

Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals Odds

• Opening point spread: Ravens -1
• Opening moneyline: Ravens -140/Bengals +120
• Opening total: Over/Under 48.5 points scored
• Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 11:15 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Baltimore opened -1.5, peaked at -3 Monday and spent the week toggling between -2.5/-2 at BetMGM. The Ravens are now -2.5 in NFL odds for Week 7.

"There's more Ravens money, but it's closer to 50/50," BetMGM trader Christian Cipollini said.

The total opened at 48.5, surged to 51.5 Monday, then slowly made its way back to 48.5.

UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: ESPNBet pegged the Ravens -3 to open, backed up to -2.5 and is now -2.5 (-115). Baltimore is netting 55% of early spread bets, but 69% of early spread money is on Cincinnati.

Ravens moneyline, currently -135, is popular in NFL picks for ESPNBet customers. Baltimore is taking 68% of moneyline bets and a hefty 87% of moneyline dollars.

The total opened at 50.5 and is now 49.5 (Under -115) on two-way play, with 55% of bets/53% of cash on the Over.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Baltimore advanced from -2 to -2.5 on TwinSpires Sportsbook's NFL Week 5 odds board. The Ravens are landing 70% of early spread bets/64% of early spread money.

"We'll need the Bengals to at least cover here. An outright win would make our day," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

The total is up a tick from 50 to 50.5, with 70% of bets/73% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET MONDAY: After the Ravens steamrolled the Bills 35-10, The SuperBook took note and accordingly adjusted the Ravens-Bengals line. On Sunday night, prior to Baltimore's blowout win, Ravens-Bengals opened at Baltimore -1.

When Ravens-Bengals reopened this morning, it was at Baltimore -2.5. Additionally, the total – which opened at 48.5 Sunday evening – reopened this morning at 49 and got bet up to 51.5 within 90 minutes. It's now at 51.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Cincinnati (1-3 SU/2-2 ATS) finally cracked the win column in Week 4. The Bengals took care of Carolina 34-24 laying 4.5 points on the road.

Baltimore (2-2 SU and ATS) squared its record by blasting Buffalo in Week 4. The Ravens led 21-3 midway through the second quarter and rumbled to a 35-10 victory giving 2.5 points at home.

Baltimore opened -1 vs. Cincy in The SuperBook's Week 5 NFL odds market. That line came off the board once Bills-Ravens kicked off Sunday, and it will go back up Monday.

"This will depend on how the Ravens look tonight," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said before Baltimore drilled Buffalo. "But the one thing with Cincy is you just cannot make the totals high enough. The defense is legitimately bad."

Carolina Panthers vs Chicago Bears Odds

• Opening point spread: Bears -4
• Opening moneyline: Bears -190/Panthers +170

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Chicago opened -4.5 and spent much of the week toggling between -4/-3.5 at BetMGM. The Bears are now -4 while taking 61% of spread tickets/56% of spread money.

BetMGM's total opened at 43.5 and slowly made its way down to the current 40.5. The Under is seeing 58% of tickets/56% of money.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: DraftKings Sportsbook opened Chicago as 5-point chalk and fell to -4.5/-4 within a few hours Sunday. The line has since toggled between Bears -4/-3.5 a few times, and it's now -3.5 (-112).

Spread tickets and money are almost dead even, with a slight lean toward host Chicago. The moneyline is more defined, with 71% of early tickets/84% of early money on the Bears.

DraftKings opened the total at 45.5 and dropped to 43 in short order Sunday, with stops along the way. It's now all the way down to 41, with tickets dead even and 80% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Carolina (1-3 SU and ATS) couldn't build off its Week 3 upset of Las Vegas. The Panthers lost to Cincinnati 34-24 getting 4.5 points at home.

Chicago (2-2 SU/3-1 ATS) held off the Los Angeles Rams 24-18, cashing as 3-point home favorites.

The Panthers-Bears line has already seen a fair amount of movement in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 5 market. Chicago opened -4, quickly advanced to -4.5/-5, then backtracked to -4.5 and is now -4 again.

The total dipped from 43.5 to 43.

Indianapolis Colts vs Jacksonville Jaguars Odds

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: BetMGM bounced between Jaguars -2.5/-3 throughout the week, then went to -4 this morning on the NFL Week 5 odds board. Spread tickets are running almost 2/1 and spread money 4/1 on Jacksonville.

The total opened at 45.5, peaked at 46.5 a couple times early in the week and hit a low of 45 Saturday. It's now 45.5 again, with 65% of tickets/71% of dollars on the Under.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Jaguars toggled between -3/-2.5 multiple times this week in DraftKings' NFL odds Week 5 market. Jacksonville is now -2.5 (-120), with 56% of bets on the Colts/56% of dollars on the Jags.

DK opened the total at 44.5 and got to 46.5 by Tuesday, then fell back to 46 Wednesday. The Under is getting 61% of tickets, while 56% of money is on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Jacksonville (0-4 SU/2-2 ATS) can't shake last year's late-season slide, as it's now 1-9 SU in its last 10 games (3-7 ATS). In Week 4, the Jags led at Houston 20-17, but gave up a late touchdown and lost 24-17 as 5.5-point 'dogs.

Indianapolis (2-2 SU/3-1 ATS) put the first blemish on Pittsburgh's record. The Colts hung on for a 27-24 victory catching 2.5 points at home.

Despite Jacksonville being winless, The SuperBook opened Colts-Jaguars at Jags -2.5 (-120) tonight. There's been no early movement.

Miami Dolphins vs New England Patriots Odds

• Opening point spread: Pick
• Opening moneyline: Dolphins -120/Patriots even
• Opening total: Over/Under 35.5 points scored

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: This line jumped the fence multiple times this week at BetMGM. New England opened -1 (-105), and the number quickly flipped to Miami -1 (-105), then -1 flat.

The Patriots were -1 from Monday-Friday, at either flat or -105 juice. On Saturday, the number jumped to Dolphins -1 again, and Miami is now -1.5.

New England is taking 58% of spread bets, while 52% of spread money is on Miami.

The total opened at a tidy 35.5, the lowest on the Week 7 NFL odds board. It's peaked at 36.5 a couple times early in the week, and it's now at 36. Ticket count is 5/1 and money 7/1 on the Under.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: DraftKings opened the Dolphins -1, then Monday flipped to the Patriots -1. New England is now -1 (-105) on the NFL Week 5 odds board. Spread tickets and money are just shy of 2/1 on the Pats.

The total opened at a tidy 36.5 and dipped to 35.5 Monday night at DK. On Wednesday morning, the number climbed to 36/36.5. The Under is seeing 63% of early tickets/83% of early money.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: New England (1-3 SU/1-2-1 ATS) dug itself into a 20-0 first-half hole at San Francisco. From there, the Pats never threatened in a 30-13 loss getting 10.5 points.

Miami (1-2 SU/0-3 ATS), trying to manage despite not having QB Tua Tagovailoa, still has Week 4 work to do. The Dolphins host Tennessee on Monday night.

With two struggling teams, it seems right to open this game a pick 'em. So that's what The SuperBook did in NFL Week 5 odds. The line and total are stable tonight.

New York Jets vs Minnesota Vikings Odds

UPDATE 9:15 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Fifteen minutes pre-kick in London, the Vikings are 2.5-point favorites in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 5 market. That's where the number has been much of the week, save for a stretch at Vikes -1.5 (-120) from late Saturday into this morning.

In digital betting (mobile/online) at BetMGM, Minnesota is taking 75% of spread bets/63% of spread money.

"BetMGM is Team New York today. Covers by the Jets and Giants would an ideal [result] this Sunday," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said.

The total opened at 41.5, dipped to 40.5 Monday, but this morning has climbed to 41.5/42. The Over is netting 68% of bets/79% of money.

UPDATE 8:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Vikings opened and are currently 2.5-point favorites in Week 5 NFL at ESPNBet. Minnesota is seeing 79% of early spread tickets, but just 51% of early spread money.

But customers are also eschewing the spread and taking Vikes moneyline (-140) with their NFL bets. Minnesota is drawing 62% of moneyline tickets/75% of moneyline cash at ESPNBet.

The total opened at 41.5 and is at 40.5 (Under -115), with 60% of tickets on the Over/67% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: TwinSpires Sportsbook opened at Vikings -2.5 and remains there midweek for this London clash.

"We're virtually down the middle on tickets and money," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said of spread betting. "However, the Vikes moneyline is seeing 3/1 tickets and money."

The total is down a point to 40.5 at TwinSpires, with 60% of tickets/67% of cash on the Under.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Minnesota is perhaps the most surprising unbeaten team, now sitting at 4-0 SU and ATS. In Week 4, the Vikings built a 28-0 first-half lead vs. Green Bay, then held on for a 31-29 victory catching 2.5 points on the road.

New York (2-2 SU and ATS) saw its modest two-game win streak halted in upset fashion. The Jets closed as 8-point home favorites vs. Denver and lost a slog of a game 10-9.

Jets-Vikings opened at Minnesota -2.5 in The SuperBook's Week 5 NFL odds market. The Vikes briefly adjusted to -2.5 (-120), then returned to -2.5 flat.

"The Vikings continue to be the surprise of the season," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "Our Game of the Year line [over the summer] was Jets -4. But we had to argue ourselves down from Vikings -3 on this one.

"The Jets certainly know how to play low-scoring games, so I'm sure the soccer fans in London will appreciate that. The early London game always draws an interesting betting crowd, so it's hard to say what side we'll need."

On the total, The SuperBook crept from 41 to 41.5 tonight.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Atlanta Falcons Odds

UPDATE 7:15 P.M. ET THURSDAY: With kickoff an hour out, Atlanta is 2.5-point chalk in Week 5 NFL odds for BetMGM. The Falcons opened -2.5 (-115) Sunday night, fell to -1.5 Monday, then returned to -2.5 this afternoon.

"We are actually split right down the middle now on spread and moneyline handle, and Over Unders. But for parlays, single-game parlays etc., we will be cheering for Tampa and the Under."

The total opened at 42.5, climbed to 44 by Wednesday, backed up to 43.5 this morning and returned to 44 mid-afternoon.

UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Less than five hours before kickoff, the Falcons are laying 2.5 points at Fanatics Sportsbook in NFL Week 5. That's where Atlanta opened Sunday before getting bet down to -1.5 and rebounding to -2.5.

It's two-way action on the spread, with 52% of tickets on the Buccaneers/56% of money on the Falcons. Bettors are leaning toward short road 'dog Tampa Bay on the moneyline, at 66% of tickets/56% of money.

"Buccaneers moneyline has been the most popular bet for tonight," Fanatics Sportsbook senior editor Max Meyer said. "The Bucs have three impressive wins, over the Lions, Eagles and Commanders. I also understand other bettors opting for the points with the Bucs instead of moneyline, since the Falcons’ two wins are by a combined three points.

"The strongest Falcons action came when the line hit its low point of -1.5 and was bet back up."

Fanatics opened the total at 43, bottomed out at 42.5, and is now at 44. Bettors are modestly leaning toward the Over with their NFL picks, at 57% of tickets/56% of money.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The Falcons are down to -1.5 from a -2.5 opener in TwinSpires Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 5 market. It's two-way spread play with a lean toward the Saints, at 54% of early tickets/60% of early money.

TwinSpires opened the total at 43 and is now at 44, also on two-way action. The Over is taking 55% of tickets/59% of money.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Atlanta (2-2 SU/1-3 ATS) barely eked out a Week 4 home victory over New Orleans. Youngoe Koo drilled a 58-yard field goal in the waning seconds, and the Falcons won 26-24 as 2.5-point home favorites.

Tampa Bay improved to 3-1 SU and ATS with an impressive rebound, after its stunning Week 3 home loss to Denver. The Bucs rolled over Philadelphia 33-16 as 1-point home underdogs.

Bucs-Falcons opened at Atlanta -2.5 and remains there tonight in The SuperBook's NFL Week 5 odds.

"These feel like even teams, so 2.5 is indicative of that," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "With both teams coming off wins, and this division looking wide open, I think we'll get a decent amount of public two-way action on this game."

The total nudged from 42.5 to 43 shortly after opening tonight.
