The fifth Sunday of NFL regular season action kicks things off with a Sunday morning international series matchup between the Jaguars and Bills, with the Week 5 betting odds touting the Jags as 4.5-point underdogs in their second consecutive game across the pond. Coverage begins from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday, October 8 at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network.

• Opening total: Over/Under 48.5 points scored
• Time: 9:30 a.m. ET Sunday (NFL Network)

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Buffalo hasn't moved off -5.5 at TwinSpires, but early bettors are on the favorite. Ticket count is 3/1 and money 2.5/1 Bills for this neutral-site contest in London.

"Majority of tickets/money coming in on the Bills. Buffalo is especially popular after that blowout win vs. the Dolphins," Lucas said.

The total toggled from 48.5 to 48, then returned to 48.5. Early ticket count is 2/1 and early money 4/1 on the Over.

"No doubt, we'll need the Under in this game," Lucas said.

UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Miami was all the rage after pinning a 70-burger on Denver in Week 3. Buffalo apparently had enough of the hype, plowing to a 48-20 victory as a 3-point home chalk against the Dolphins.

After a stunning Week 1 loss to the Jets, the Bills (3-1 SU and ATS) have won and cashed three in a row. Now, Josh Allen & Co. travel to London in Week 5.

Jacksonville remains in London for a second straight week. The Jaguars (2-2 SU and ATS) coasted to a 23-7 Week 4 victory laying 3.5 points against Atlanta.

"We've written some smaller Buffalo tickets, but nothing of note," Degnon said. "I think both sides will draw some action, although I do anticipate we'll need the Jags come Sunday morning. Not much interest in the total yet, but I could see the public getting involved with the Over."

Jaguars vs Bills Pick, Prediction

Action Network NFL betting expert Brandon Anderson offers this prediction:

That Week 1 letdown against the Jets feels so long ago as the Dolphins thrashing moved Buffalo to the top of my Power Rankings. The Bills have three wins by 28+ since that opening loss and have won by at least six points in 33 of 41 wins (80%) since the start of the 2020 season.

Jacksonville is trending up after a nice win over the Falcons, but its offense has still looked stuck at times and Buffalo's defense should keep the Jaguars in check, even with a banged-up secondary. The Jaguars defense looks improved, but Josh Allen is another animal altogether.

I don't love Buffalo losing Tre'Davious White just before facing Trevor Lawrence, and I have some reservations about the Bills facing a huge travel disadvantage immediately after facing all that Miami speed. I like Buffalo, but this is just a lean for now, though this does look like a pretty solid teaser spot.
