Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Jets Odds

• Opening point spread: Eagles -6.5
• Opening moneyline: Eagles -280/Jets +230
• Opening total: Over/Under 42 points scored
• Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 1 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Philly is a 6.5-point chalk at Caesars Sports, after opening -6 last Sunday and peaking at -7 Friday. Spread bettors are on the unbeaten Eagles, to the tune of a 6/1 ticket count and 4/1 money count.

And no doubt, the Eagles are a popular component of moneyline parlays and teasers today.

The total fell from 42.5 to 41 by Tuesday, then rebounded Saturday to 41.5 and 42.5. Current Caesars splits aren't available.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET FRIDAY: On Sunday night, the Eagles went from -6.5 (-105) to -6, but then climbed to -7 by lunch hour Tuesday. This afternoon, Philly dipped to -6.5, though spread tickets/dollars are in the 3/1 range on the Eagles.

The total fell from 42.5 to 41 by Tuesday, with stops at 42 and 41.5 along the way. Ticket count is 3/1 and money almost 8/1 on the Under.

UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Philadelphia (5-0 SU/3-1-1 ATS) joins San Fran as the NFL's only unbeaten teams on the field. In Week 5, the Eagles dropped the L.A. Rams 23-14 as 3.5-point road faves.

Meanwhile, New York (2-3 SU/3-2 ATS) is starting to perform better behind Zach Wilson. After nearly knocking off Kansas City in Week 4, the Jets went to Denver as 2.5-point road 'dogs and bagged a 31-21 victory.

Philly actually dipped a half-point tonight at The SuperBook, from -6.5 to -6. The total went from 42 to 42.5.

Eagles vs Jets Pick, Prediction

Action Network NFL betting expert Brandon Anderson offers this prediction: I played the Jets +7 and under SGP for a half unit earlier in the week as strongly correlated outcomes, but if you haven't bet yet, I'd sit out now that both Jets corners are out. I keep waiting for a spot to fade the Eagles, but I'm not sure this is it.
