New York Giants vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Steelers vs
Giants | -5.5 (-120)
+5.5 (-110) | o36.5 (-115)
u36.5 (-115) | -238 +180 |
- Opening point spread: Steelers -5.5
- Opening moneyline: Steelers 300/Giants +250
- Opening total: Over/Under 37 points scored
- Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Monday (ESPN)
UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: With about four hours until kickoff, the steelers are 6-point favorites in TwinSpires Sportsbook's Week 8 NFL odds. That's up a tick from the Pittsburgh -5.5 opener, with 72% of spread tickets/70% of spread cash on the Steelers.
"I'll be wearing a Giants jersey tonight, as it's very lopsided across the board on Pittsburgh. Moneyline, spread, teasers and parlays are all connected to the Steelers," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
The total went from 36.5 to 37.5 and is now 36.5 again, with 54% of tickets/60% of money on the Under.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: DraftKings Sportsbook opened the Steelers -4.5 last Sunday and quickly advanced to -6. Pittsburgh then spent much of the week toggling between -6/-6.5, with the line at -6 since Friday morning.
It's all Steelers on the spread, at 83% of bets/79% of money.
The total opened at 37.5, bottomed out multiple times at 36 and is now 36.5. The Over is seeing 72% of bets/65% of money.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET OCT. 20: Pittsburgh (5-2 SU and ATS) continues to be one of the surprises of the season thus far. In Week 7, the Steelers stifled the New York Jets 30-15 as 2.5-point home 'dogs, in Russell Wilson's first start for Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh is in prime time for the second straight week.
New York (2-5 SU/3-4 ATS) has totaled just 10 points over its last two games. In Week 7, the Giants got blown out by Philadelphia 28-3 as 3-point home underdogs.
The SuperBook opened the Steelers -5.5 vs. the Giants in Week 8 NFL odds, with Pittsburgh in prime time for a second straight week. Giants-Steelers came off the board once Jets-Steelers kicked off Sunday night. Giants-Steelers will go back up Monday morning.
"Why are the Steelers always in prime time? This will be an ugly football game. I'm pretty sure we will be pulling for Big Blue," SuperBook executive director John Murray said.
In-Progress Games for NFL Week 8
Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
49ers vs
Cowboys | -5.5 (-112)
+5.5 (-108) | o47.5 (-112)
u47.5 (-108) | -238 +195 |
- Opening point spread: 49ers -5
- Opening moneyline: 49ers -240/Cowboys +200
- Opening total: Over/Under 48.5 points scored
- Time: 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday (NBC)
UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Fifty minutes before kickoff, San Fran is -5.5 (-115) on BetMGM's NFL Week 8 odds board. The 49ers opened -5.5 and briefly touched -6 last Sunday night. But the line then dipped as low as Niners -4 Monday evening.
San Francisco stabilized at -4.5 Wednesday, then went to -5 Saturday and -5.5 today.
"There's a slight lean of handle to the 49ers moneyline, but we're split down the middle at 5.5," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said.
The total opened at 48.5, got as low as 46 midweek and is now 47.5. But Davis said there's not much of a decision.
UPDATE 5 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Niners are 4-point faves in Fanatics Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 8 market. That's a noteworthy fallback from Sunday's -6 opener.
Early spread ticket count is running 2/1 and early money 3/1 on the Cowboys. Further, Dallas is third in moneyline tickets and cash in Week 8, behind only the Eagles and Commanders.
"When we first put up this game, the first 30 spread bets were all on Dallas," Fanatics Sportsbook senior editor Max Meyer said. "That was pretty interesting to see, given that the last time we saw the Cowboys, they were getting destroyed by the Lions.
"The 49ers are just dealing with so many injuries on offense right now that it could be tough to trust them to win by margin."
Fanatics' total opened at 48 and is now 47, with 71% of tickets and 83% of cash on the Under.
UPDATE 10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: San Francisco (3-4 SU and ATS) didn't have the goods for its Super Bowl rematch with Kansas City. Brock Purdy threw three INTs, and the 49ers lost 28-12 giving 2.5 points at home.
The Niners also lost star wideout Brandon Aiyuk to what's feared to be an ACL injury that could end his season. Fellow wideout Jauan Jennings (hip) also missed the loss to the Chiefs.
Dallas (3-3 SU and ATS) got and probably needed a bye in Week 7, after its dismal Week 6 performance. The Cowboys were 3.5-point home 'dogs to Detroit and got boat-raced 47-9.
Come see our best sportsbook bonus codes for the Cowboys vs the 49ers!
Cowboys-Niners opened at San Fran -5 in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 8 market. The line climbed to -5.5/-6 tonight, then returned to -5.5.
"We already moved this line up to San Francisco -6, despite the 49ers loss today and what looks like a very banged-up collection of skill-position players," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "Both teams have been very disappointing to start the season, after finishing as the top two seeds in the conference a year ago."
Completed Games for NFL Week 8
Buffalo Bills vs. Seattle Seahawks Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Seahawks vs
Bills | +3 (even)
-3 (-120) | o45.5 (-115)
u45.5 (-105) | +142 -170 |
- Opening point spread: Bills -3
- Opening moneyline: Bills -160/Seahawks +140
- Opening total: Over/Under 48points scored
- Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: TwinSpires Sportsbook pegged Buffalo 3-point chalk to open last Sunday. The line briefly touched Bills -3.5, then returned to -3 in the NFL odds Week 8 market.
Buffalo is landing 77% of spread tickets/78% of spread money.
"Lopsided support for the Bills. The Seahawks are shaping up to be the biggest need today," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
The total is down to 45 from a 48 opener, with 60% of tickets on the Over/58% of cash on the Under.
UPDATE 5 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Fanatics Sportsbook has the Bills painted to -3 on the NFL Week 8 odds board. Buffalo is landing 73% of early spread bets/79% of early spread dollars.
"One interesting thing on this game: This is the only spread that has not budged off the opener," Fanatics senior editor Max Meyer said.
The total made a notable dip from 49.5 to 46, with multiple stops along the way this week. Meyer said a forecast of rain and wind was a factor. Still, the Over is seeing 54% of tickets/65% of money.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Buffalo (5-2 SU/4-3 ATS) spotted Tennessee a 10-0 lead, then took over from there. The Bills scored the final 34 points of the game, winning 34-10 as 9.5-point home favorites.
Newly acquired wideout Amari Cooper scored the go-ahead TD for Buffalo.
Seattle (4-3 SU/2-4-1 ATS) halted its three game SU and ATS purge. The Seahawks closed as 3-point 'dogs at Atlanta and rolled 34-14.
Buffalo opened -3 on The SuperBook's NFL Week 8 odds board, with no movement tonight.
"We haven’t seen much on this one yet," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "I can’t figure out Seattle. They run hot and cold. And Buffalo may finally have some good options for Josh Allen to spread the ball around to.
"I’ll be interested to see how the Seahawks' secondary handles him."
New Orleans Saints vs. Los Angeles Chargers Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Chargers vs
Saints | -7.5 (-108)
+7.5 (-112) | o41 (-112)
u41 (-108) | -340 +270 |
- Opening point spread: Chargers -7
- Opening moneyline: Chargers -400/Saints +330
- Opening total: Over/Under 40.5 points scored
- Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Los Angeles has been painted to -7 almost all week at DraftKings Sportsbook. The Chargers spent a handful of hours Sunday/Monday at -7.5.
L.A. is seeing 60% of tickets/55% of money on the spread.
DK opened the total at 39.5 and slowly made its way to 41.5 this week. It's two-way action, with the Over taking 54% of tickets/57% of money.
UPDATE 10 P.M. ET THURSDAY: ESPNBET has the Chargers at -7 (-120), down a notch from the -7.5 opener. Still, spread tickets are running almost 2/1 and spread money 3/1-plus on Los Angeles.
The total opened at 39.5 and is up to 40.5 (Over -115), with the Over taking 54% of tickets/88% of money.
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET TUESDAY: Los Angeles (3-3 SU and ATS) got a field goal with 1:54 remaining to take a 15-14 lead at Arizona on Monday night. But the Chargers gave up a field goal as time expired, losing 17-15 as 1-point road faves.
That said, the loss didn't impact Saints-Chargers odds much. The SuperBook opened L.A. -7 Sunday night and quickly went to -7.5. The Chargers fell back to -7 Monday afternoon and are now -7.5 (even).
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: New Orleans (2-5 SU/3-4 ATS) is on a five-game SU purge, going 1-4 ATS in that stretch. The Saints are clearly missing QB Derek Carr, out the last two games with an oblique injury.
In the Week 7 Thursday nighter, with rookie Spencer Rattler under center, New Orleans got drilled by Denver 33-10 catching 3 points at home. About the only benefit: The Saints get a couple extra days' rest before facing the Chargers.
Los Angeles (3-2 SU and ATS) still has a Week 7 test to complete. The Chargers visit Arizona on Monday night.
The SuperBook opened Chargers-Saints at L.A. -7 and is already out to -7.5 tonight. Likewise, the total moved a half-point, though in the other direction, from 40.5 to 40.
Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Commanders vs
Bears | -1.5 (-110)
+1.5 (-110) | o46.5 (-112)
u46.5 (-108) | -125 +105 |
- Opening point spread: Commanders -1
- Opening moneyline: Bears -120/Commanders +100
- Opening total: Over/Under 47 points scored
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Less than an hour before kickoff, this line is now Commanders -1 (-105), a notable swing since this morning. That's because rookie QB Jayden Daniels is set to start for Washington.
The Commanders opened -1.5 at BetMGM, but the line quickly flipped to Bears -1 due to Daniels' Week 7 rib injury. Much of the week, Daniels was expected to sit out, and the Bears got as far as -3 Friday.
But things changed this morning, and the line swung as far as Commanders -1.5. Betting action swung, as well.
"We took some Bears action early, when they were -2.5, thinking it would go to -3 if Daniels didn't play. But all day, it's been Commanders money. We're going to want the Bears," BetMGM trader Christian Cipollini said.
The total is on the rise today, too, from 44.5 to 46 in just the past few hours. BetMGM opened the total at 47 and plunged to 42 by Friday. Cipollini said the book needs the Under.
UPDATE NOON ET THURSDAY: Washington hit TwinSpires Sportsbook's NFL Week 8 odds board at -1.5. However, due to Commanders QB Jayden Daniels' rib injury, the line quickly flipped early this week and is now at Chicago -2.5.
The Commanders are seeing 59% of early spread bets, while 60% of early spread dollars are on Chicago.
"It's a Pros vs. Joes split, despite Daniels' status. The public still likes the Commanders," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
Daniels didn't practice Wednesday. If he doesn't practice today, it's likely Marcus Mariota will get the start Sunday.
The total is down to 46.5 from a 43 opener. That's due in large part to Daniels' status. The Under is taking 53% of tickets/72% of money so far.
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET TUESDAY: By late Sunday night, this line jumped the fence at The SuperBook, going to Bears -1 after a stop at pick 'em earlier in the evening. The SuperBook doesn't post its NFL moneylines until Monday morning, and at that point, Chicago opened -120 to Washington's even-money price.
By Monday afternoon, the Bears stretched to -2.5/-3, and they're now at -2.5 (-116). The total is down to 43.5 from a 47 opener.
All the above activity is tied to the status of Commanders QB Jayden Daniels, who is questionable for Week 8 with a rib injury.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Washington (5-2 SU/5-1-1 ATS) is the surprise public darling of the season, and that continued in Week 7. The Commanders pounded Carolina 40-7 giving 10 points at home.
However, standout rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels left early in the first quarter with a rib injury. Marcus Mariota took over and directed the rest of the blowout victory.
Chicago (4-2 SU and ATS) is a bit surprising, well. The Bears had their bye in Week 7, after drilling Jacksonville 35-16 laying 1.5 points in London. Caleb Williams & Co. are on a 3-0 SU and ATS upswing.
Try out our DraftKings promo code for the huge matchup between the Bears and the Commanders!
Washington opened -1 tonight in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 8 market. After a couple of hours, the line dropped to pick 'em.
"Our lookahead number last week was Bears +2.5, and we saw sharp money come in on that side," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "We re-opened the game Bears +1 due to a combination of that bet and Daniels potentially being banged up. We’ll be keeping an eye on his status.
"The Bears could be catching the Commanders at the right time, with Chicago off its bye week and Washington off an easy win and a knock to its star QB."
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Raiders vs
Chiefs | +9 (-108)
-9 (-112) | o43 (-112)
u43 (-108) | +340 -440 |
- Opening point spread: Chiefs -10.5
- Opening moneyline: Chiefs -500/Raiders +400
- Opening total: Over/Under 42.5 points scored
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Kansas City is down to -8.5 in TwinSpires Sportsbook's Week 7 NFL odds. The Chiefs opened -10 and briefly got to -10.5, then gradually made their way down this week.
K.C. is netting 68% of spread bets/58% of spread money.
"The public is all over Kansas City. Sharp play on Las Vegas +10 and +9," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
The total opened at 42 and is now 41.5, with 62% of bets on the Over/58% of money on the Under.
UPDATE NOON ET THURSDAY: TwinSpires Sportsbook opened Kansas City as 10-point chalk, briefly touched -10.5, then returned to -10. Even with the big spread, the Chiefs are landing 65% of early bets/70% of early money.
"Bettors aren't shying away from double digits. K.C. has not been kind to us lately. We are hoping Las Vegas can at least get the cover," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
Potentially adding to K.C.'s attractiveness: The Chiefs landed wideout DeAndre Hopkins today in a trade with the Tennessee Titans. Hopkins is expected to play this week.
The total dipped from 42 to 41 and is now at 41.5, with 64% of bets on the Over/54% of money on the Under.
"Sharp play on Under 42," Lucas said.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Kansas City (6-0 SU/5-1 ATS) is the last man standing, as the final unbeaten team this season. In Week 7, the Chiefs had a Super Bowl rematch with San Francisco and notched a 28-12 victory catching 2.5 points at home.
Las Vegas (2-5 SU/3-4 ATS) is on a three-game slide entering Week 8. The Raiders were 7-point road pups vs. the Los Angeles Rams and lost 20-15.
K.C. opened -10.5 in Week 8 NFL odds at The SuperBook and fell to -10 tonight. The total inched from 42.5 to 42.
Carolina Panthers vs. Denver Broncos Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Broncos vs
Panthers | -13 (-110)
+13 (-110) | o40.5 (-108)
u40.5 (-112) | -750 +525 |
- Opening point spread: Broncos -7
- Opening moneyline: Broncos -360/Panthers +300
- Opening total: Over/Under 43 points scored
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: This line stunningly keeps climbing in favor of Denver, with DraftKings Sportsbook now at Broncos -13. Last Sunday, this game opened at Denver -7, then steadily climbed to -11 by Friday. It's up 2 more points in just the last hour or so.
Spread tickets are running 2/1 and spread money 2.5/1 on the Broncos.
The total opened at 43, fell to 41 by Friday and is now at 40.5. The Under is drawing 55% of tickets/59% of money.
UPDATE 10 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Broncos are all the way out to -10 (-115) at ESPNBET, after opening -7.5. That's in no small part due to the Panthers having to go back to Bryce Young at QB this week, after Andy Dalton suffered a minor injury in a Tuesday car accident.
Denver is grabbing 82% of early spread tickets/77% of early spread dollars.
ESPNBET's total dipped from 42.5 to 41.5, with 80% of tickets/84% of money on the Under.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Denver (4-3 SU/5-2 ATS) had a season win total of 5.5 and is set up well to reach No. 5 in just weeks. The Broncos rolled over New Orleans 33-10 giving 3 points on the road in Week 7.
Carolina (1-6 SU and ATS) continues to be dreadful. In Week 7, the Panthers got trucked 40-7 catching 10 points at Washington.
The SuperBook opened Panthers-Broncos at Denver -7 and is up to -7.5. The total fell from 43 to 42.5/42 tonight.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Buccaneers vs
Falcons | +1.5 (-110)
-1.5 (-110) | o47.5 (-110)
u47.5 (-110) | +102 -122 |
- Opening point spread: Buccaneers -2.5
- Opening moneyline: Buccaneers -145/Falcons +125
- Opening total: Over/Under 49 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)
UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Buccaneers opened -3 last Sunday. However, with Tampa's injuries (see below), this line spent pretty much all week at various iterations of Falcons -2.5 in DraftKings Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 8 market.
Atlanta is currently -2.5 (-118), with spread tickets running 2/1 and spread money 3/1 on the Falcons.
DK's total opened at 48 and dropped to 46 by Tuesday, with stops along the way. That said, ticket count is 3/1 and money 2/1 on the Over.
UPDATE 5 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Fanatics Sportsbook pegged the Bucs 3-point home favorites at Sunday's open. Ahead of Tampa's Week 7 Monday nigher vs. Baltimore, Falcons-Bucs dipped to -2.5.
Then, in the wake of key Buccaneers injuries in that game (see below), the line flipped to Atlanta -1. The Falcons ultimately stretched as far as -3 and are now -2.5 (-120).
Atlanta is taking 81% of early spread bets and a more massive 96% of early spread money. In fact, Fanatics Sportsbook senior editor Max Meyer said the Falcons are taking more point-spread and moneyline cash than any other team in NFL Week 8 odds.
"Immediately following the Chris Godwin injury on MNF, big money started pouring in on the Falcons,” Meyer said. "While wide receivers aren’t viewed as the most valuable position, losing two stars like Godwin and Mike Evans can just decimate an offense.
"Just look at how the Rams fared [Thursday] night with Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp back, versus how they looked with both of them out."
Indeed, the Rams beat the Vikings 30-20 to kick off Week 8.
Fanatics' total is down to 45.5 from a 48 opener, but 70% of tickets/79% of dollars are on the Over.
UPDATE 2 P.M. ET TUESDAY: Tampa Bay (4-3 SU and ATS) lost more than just its Monday night game against Baltimore. The Bucs fell 41-31 as 4-point home underdogs.
Additionally, wideout Chris Godwin suffered what appeared to be a serious leg injury in the final minute. He could be done for the season. And fellow wideout Mike Evans injured a hamstring early in the game.
No surprise, bookmakers swiftly reacted in the NFL Week 8 odds market. The SuperBook opened Bucs -2.5 vs. Falcons on Sunday night. This morning, the line reopened at Atlanta -1.5 and went to Falcons -2.5 in short order.
The total opened at 49 Sunday night and was down to 48 even before the Bucs' game vs. the Ravens. This morning, The SuperBook reopened at 45.5, then settled at 46.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Atlanta (4-3 SU/3-4 ATS) surprisingly got drilled by a Seattle team on a three-game losing streak. The Falcons lost 34-14 laying 3 points at home.
Tampa Bay (4-2 SU and ATS) still has Week 7 work to do. The Bucs host the Ravens on Monday night.
At The SuperBook, the spread and the total are stable tonight at the openers of Tampa -2.5/49. These two teams just met in Week 5, with the Falcons squeezing out a 36-30 overtime win vs. The Bucs.
"Their first game was wild, and there’s no reason to think this game won’t be very tight, as well," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "So far, most of the money is on Tampa, but nothing that would make us move the line."
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cincinnati Bengals Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Bengals vs
Eagles | -3 (-102)
+3 (-118) | o47.5 (-112)
u47.5 (-108) | -155 +130 |
- Opening point spread: Bengals -2.5
- Opening moneyline: Bengals -145/Eagles +125
- Opening total: Over/Under 47.5 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
UPDATE 10:45 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Two-plus hours before kickoff, Cincy is -2.5 (-115) on BetMGM's Week 8 NFL odds board. The Bengals opened -2.5 and spent a little time at -2 midweek.
Cincinnati is taking 60% of spread bets/70% of spread money. On the flip side, though, 77% of moneyline bets/78% of moneyline dollars are on Philadelphia.
"If people like the Eagles, they're them on the moneyline. Bengals backers are laying the 2.5," BetMGM trader Christian Cipollini said.
The total toggled between 47.5/48 throughout the week and is now 48. Tickets and money are in the 2/1 range on the Under.
UPDATE 5 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Cincy hit Fanatics Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 8 market as 2-point chalk, went to -2.5 and briefly hit -3 a couple times. The Bengals are now -2.5 (-120), while taking 54% of spread tickets/62% of spread money.
"People have been either laying the Bengals under a field goal or taking the Eagles on the moneyline," Fanatics Sportsbook senior editor Max Meyer said. "For the Eagles, things seem to be clicking again, so there's definitely interest on Eagles moneyline.
"The Eagles have the most tickets to win outright in Week 8, and they're the most-bet underdog [by money] to win outright."

"We took some money on Eagles +3 (-110) on the lookahead line and re-opened this game at Bengals -2.5," SuperBook executive director John Murray said. "Both teams had relatively easy road wins today against division opponents.
"This is an interesting game between two teams that can play much better than they have been."
The total dropped from 47.5 to 46.5/46 within an hour of opening tonight.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Browns vs
Ravens | +7.5 (-115)
-7.5 (-105) | o44.5 (-115)
u44.5 (-105) | +285 -360 |
- Opening point spread: Ravens -10.5
- Opening moneyline: Ravens -450/Browns +375
- Opening total: Over/Under 42 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
UPDATE 10:45 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Ravens are now down to -7.5 (-115) at BetMGM, as a line that peaked at -11.5 continues to fall back. Baltimore opened -10.5 last Sunday.
In digital wagering (mobile/online), this matchup is taking the most tickets of all Sunday games at BetMGM. Contrary to the point-spread dip, the Ravens are landing 69% of spread bets/66% of spread money.
In fact, there are more tickets and money on Baltimore than any other team today.
"The Browns are at least getting some money. But still, most of the public action is on the Ravens," BetMGM trader Christian Cipollini said.
The total climbed from a 42.5 opener a week ago to a peak of 45 (Over -120) Saturday. It's now 44.5 on two-way action with a lean toward the Over.
UPDATE 5 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Interestingly, this line is on the decline in Fanatics Sportsbook's Week 8 NFL odds. Baltimore opened -10.5 and peaked at -11.5, but the line was as low as -8 this afternoon.
Part of what's in play: Jameis Winston will start for Cleveland, after Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 7, ending what's been a disappointing season for Watson.
The Ravens are now -8.5, while still taking 69% of early spread tickets/75% of early spread money.
"This is still a Browns offense that hasn't put up 20 points in a game this season. The Ravens have scored at least 28 points in their last five games," Fanatics senior editor Max Meyer said.
That noted, Meyer also pointed out that of the six underdogs getting at least 7 points this week, the Browns are taking the most moneyline tickets to pull the outright upset. Cleveland is currently +330 on the moneyline.
"It really can't get worse than Watson. I would assume bettors think Winston will be an upgrade. The question is, how much?"
Fanatics opened the total at 43 and is out to 45.5, with 73% of tickets/91% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 2 P.M. ET TUESDAY: The Ravens (5-2 SU/4-2-1 ATS) got monster games from Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry in a Week 7 Monday nighter. Baltimore beat Tampa Bay 41-31 laying 4 points on the road.
Jackson threw for five touchdowns, and Henry ran for 169 yards on just 15 carries. He also had one of Jackson's five TD passes.
All that noted, the Ravens-Browns line is actually down to Baltimore -9 today at The SuperBook. Baltimore opened -10.5 Sunday. Conversely, the total is up to 44.5 from a 42 opener.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Baltimore (4-2 SU/3-2-1 ATS) isn't through with Week 7 yet. The Ravens travel to Tampa Bay for a Monday night tilt.
Cleveland is on a five-game SU and ATS purge, and in Week 7, they lost QB Deshaun Watson, as well. The Browns (1-6 SU/2-5 ATS) were 5.5-point home 'dogs vs. Cincinnati and fell 21-14. Watson suffered what appears to be a season-ending Achilles injury late in the first half.
As such, The SuperBook opened Ravens-Browns at a healthy Baltimore -10.5, then went to -10 this evening. The total went from 42 to 42.5 and back to 42.

"The Vikes are the biggest liability of the week so far. Bettors are lining up to take them at a short price," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.

"We're seeing a lot of Vikings money, no surprise. But we haven't seen much movement on the line," Caesars Sports head of football trading Joey Feazel said. "So this is kind of leaning toward being a Pros vs. Joes matchup. The sharps like the Rams in this spot.
"But we're gonna need the Rams pretty big."
