NFL Odds for Every Game of NFL Week 9
Los Angeles Chargers vs New York Jets Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|
- Opening point spread: Chargers -1
- Opening moneyline: Chargers -160/Jets +140
- Opening total: Over/Under 42 points scored
- Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Monday (ABC/ESPN)
UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Less than four hours before kickoff, Los Angeles is -3.5 (-105) in the NFL odds Week 9 market at PointsBet, a Fanatics Experience. The Chargers opened -4 and were quickly bet down to -2.5 on Oct. 29.
The line toggled between L.A. -2.5 and -3 early last week, then spent the past few days bouncing between -3 and -3.5, all at various juice.
New York is landing 53% of spread bets and more solid 73% of spread money. Jets moneyline is also a popular play at PointsBet.
"With the Jets winning three straight and Zach Wilson improving at QB, bettors are all over the Jets moneyline against the Chargers," PointsBet trader Will Radice said. "Although the majority of bettors think the Jets will win outright, we also have a smaller liability on Jets +3.5. Bettors hope the Jets at least keep it close against a banged-up Chargers offense, which will be without receivers Mike Williams and Josh Palmer."
Williams is done for the season with a torn ACL, and Palmer (knee) is on injured reserve.
PointsBet's total dropped from 42.5 to 40 by Wednesday, then toggled between 40 and 39.5 several times the past couple days. It's now up to 41, with ticket count almost even and 71% of money on the Under.
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Los Angeles hit TwinSpires' NFL odds Week 9 market at -2 and has since advanced to -2.5 and -3. The Chargers are seeing 56% of early bets/66% of early cash on the spread.
"Sharp play on Chargers -2 and -2.5. It's a prime-time game, so we'll more than likely need the home 'dog," Lucas said.
The total is down a point to 41.5, with 60% of bets on the Over/58% of money on the Under.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Los Angeles (3-4 SU and ATS) halted a two-game SU and ATS hiccup while trying to get its season back on track. Laying 9.5 points against visiting Chicago, the Chargers earned a 30-13 victory.
Despite no Aaron Rodgers, New York has won three in a row to climb above .500. In Week 8, the Jets (4-3 SU/4-2-1 ATS) edged the Giants 13-10 in overtime to push as 3-point favorites. New York got a final-seconds fourth-quarter field goal to tie it at 10, then won in the extra frame.
Chargers-Jets opened -1 on The SuperBook's NFL Week 9 odds board, but the game was taken down once the Bears-Chargers Sunday night game kicked off. Chargers-Jets will go back up this morning.
"This line will likely go up if the Chargers keep blowing Chicago out," Michaelson said during the Bears-Chargers game. "The Jets and Zach Wilson looked back to their old ways offensively today and had no business winning. I would imagine this will get bet toward 3 in the morning."

Buffalo Bills vs Cincinnati Bengals Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|
- Opening point spread: Pick
- Opening moneyline: Bengals -155/Bills +135
- Opening total: Over/Under 46 points scored
- Time: 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday (NBC)
UPDATE 8 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Shortly before kickoff, BetMGM has the Bengals at -1.5 (-115) in the NFL odds Week 9 market. Tickets and money are in the 3/1 range on Cincinnati.
"We're definitely rooting for the Bills," BetMGM senior trader Cameron Drucker said, noting moneyline parlays to the Bengals are a key liability.
The total steadily climbed from 46.5 last Sunday to 50.5 Friday and remains 50.5 as kickoff approaches. Ticket count is 2/1 and money 4/1 on the Over.
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Cincinnati opened as 2.5-point chalk at TwinSpires and is down to -2. The Bengals are netting 66% of early spread bets, but just 53% of early spread dollars.
"We saw some sharp play on Bills +2.5. The public is siding with the Bengals, who have seemed to find their groove," Lucas said.
The total is on the rise, climbing from 47 to 48.5. Ticket count is 2/1 and money 3/1 on the Over.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Cincinnati notched an impressive win against suddenly struggling San Francisco. The Bengals (4-3 SU/3-3-1 ATS) were in control throughout a 31-17 victory getting 4.5 points on the highway. Cincy is on a 3-0 SU and ATS upswing.
Buffalo is 2-2 SU in its last four games, but could easily be 0-4 SU, and the Bills failed to cover in all four contests. In the Week 8 Thursday night game, Buffalo (5-3 SU/3-5 ATS) held off Tampa Bay 24-18 as a 10-point home favorite.
"Cincy went into San Francisco and looked like the Bengals of old," Michaelson said. "We actually opened pick 'em, then quickly went to Bengals -1.5 off one bet and a big market move. The Bengals were probably the most impressive team of today."
By late this evening, Cincinnati moved up to -2 at The SuperBook.
Indianapolis Colts vs Carolina Panthers Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|
- Opening point spread: Colts -2.5
- Opening moneyline: Colts -150/Panthers +130
- Opening total: Over/Under 45.5 points scored
- Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Right before kickoff, Indianapolis is down to -1.5 in TwinSpires Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 9 market. That's down from the -3 opener and a stop at -2.5.
The Colts are seeing 66% of spread tickets, while 57% of spread money is on the Panthers.
"It's Pros vs Joes, Pros on the Panthers +3," TwinSpires director of retail sports Zachary Lucas said.
The total is down a point to 44.5, with 57% of tickets/64% of money on the Under.
UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Indy has been a 2.5-point favorite at various juice almost all week at BetMGM. On Tuesday, the Colts spent a few hours at -3 (-105). Indianapolis is now -2.5 flat, with ticket count 2/1 and money 3/1 on short home 'dog Carolina.
The total opened at 45.5 Sunday night, then early Monday afternoon went to 45/44.5/44. It remains at 44 tonight, with 55% of tickets on the Over/84% of money on the Under.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Bryce Young and Carolina finally cracked the win column this season, both on the field and against the oddsmakers. The Panthers (1-6 SU/1-5-1 ATS) got a final-seconds field goal to edge Houston 15-13 catching 3.5 points at home.
Indianapolis (3-5 SU/4-4 ATS) fell to New Orleans 38-27 as a 1.5-point home underdog.
The Indy-Carolina line made a juice adjustment tonight, going from -2.5 flat to -2.5 (-120) in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 9 market.
Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|
- Opening point spread: Eagles -3.5
- Opening moneyline: Eagles -155/Cowboys +135
- Opening total: Over/Under 47 points scored
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)
UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: As with other books, TwinSpires has been nailed to Eagles -3 all week. But as kickoff nears, the number moved to Eagles -3.5 (even). Ticket count is 2/1 and money approaching 3/1 on Philadelphia.
"The public is favoring the Eagles. This is the highest-volume game by far today. We'll be Cowboys fans," Lucas said.
The total went from 46.5 to 46 and back to 46.5. The Over is netting 59% of tickets/55% of money.
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Philly hasn't moved off -3 yet on TwinSpires' NFL Week 9 odds board. Tickets and money are in the 2/1 range on the Eagles.
"The public is on the Eagles so far. I can't see us dipping below -3," Lucas said.
The total is down a tick from 46.5 to 46, with 61% of tickets on the Over/53% of money on the Under.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Philly spotted Washington a 14-3 second-quarter lead, then much like in Week 4, Jalen Hurts and Co. came back to win. The Eagles (7-1 SU/4-2-2 ATS) claimed a 38-31 win, pushing as 7-point road faves.
Dallas (5-2 SU and ATS) didn't let the L.A. Rams up for air in Week 9. The Cowboys led 33-3 late in the second quarter and coasted to a 43-20 victory giving 6.5 points at home.
"We opened Eagles -3.5 here, and we've been bet down to -3 a couple times already," Michaelson said. "While Dallas looked good today, the memory of what the Cowboys did in San Francisco a few weeks back lives long in our memory. The market is painted 3 at the moment, but it'll be interesting to see where it goes.
"Philly doesn't even feel like it's playing its best right now, and the Eagles are still winning road divisional games."
Like the spread, the total also dipped a half-point at The Superbook, to 46.5.
New York Giants vs Las Vegas Raiders Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|
- Opening point spread: Raiders -3.5
- Opening moneyline: Raiders -160/Giants +140
- Opening total: Over/Under 38 points scored
- Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)
UPDATE 4 P.M. ET SUNDAY: As kickoff nears, Las Vegas is down to -1.5 at TwinSpires Sportsbook, after opening -3 and making a stop at -2.5. The Raiders are drawing 60% of spread tickets/53% of spread money.
"The public is somehow backing Las Vegas, despite its issues. Some sharp play on the Giants +2.5," Lucas said.
The total went from 38.5 to 37.5 and back up to 38.5. It's now at 38, with 55% of tickets on the Under/53% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 2:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: In the middle of the night Tuesday into Wednesday, news broke that the Raiders fired coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler.
That was followed by the announcement that rookie QB Aidan O'Connell would replace Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback this week. And yet, the Raiders are still favored Sunday.
"It's a battle of two bad teams. The public is still siding with Las Vegas, which shows you how bad the New York Giants are," Lucas said. "We moved 1 point when O'Connell was announced as the starter."
That move was from -2.5 to -1.5, after the Raiders opened as 3-point favorites.
The total is down to 37 from a 38.5 opener, with tickets and money approaching 2/1 on the Under.
Las Vegas (3-5 SU and ATS) played in the Week 8 Monday night game, losing to Detroit 26-14 as 7-point home underdogs.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: New York's grind of a season continued in a slog of a loss to its MetLife Stadium roommate New York Jets. The Giants (2-6 SU/2-5-1 ATS) fell 13-10 in overtime, pushing as a 3-point 'dog.
Las Vegas (3-4 SU and ATS) still has Week 8 work to do. The Raiders are at Detroit on Monday Night Football.
Seattle Seahawks vs Baltimore Ravens Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Ravens vs
Seahawks | -5.5 (-118)
+5.5 (-104) | o44.5 (-110)
u44.5 (-110) | -275 +225 |
- Opening point spread: Ravens -5.5
- Opening moneyline: Ravens -250/Seahawks +200
- Opening total: Over/Under 43 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: With 2.5 hours until kickoff, Baltimore is 2.5-point chalk in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 9 market. The Ravens opened -5.5 last Sunday, went to -6 Thursday and -6.5 Saturday.
It's two-way spread play, with 53% of tickets on Baltimore and 52% of money on Seattle. BetMGM Nevada's Scott Shelton indicated there was sharp play on the Ravens at -5.5 and -6.
BetMGM's total went from 43.5 to 43 Monday, then straight to 44 Wednesday. It hasn't moved since, with tickets 2/1 and money 3/1 on the Over.
UPDATE 2 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Baltimore is pinned to -7.5 at TwinSpires Sportsbook. The Ravens are drawing 55% of tickets/59% of money on the spread.
The total crept from 43.5 to 43, with ticket count 2/1 and money 3/1 on the Under.
"It's two solid defenses facing off. We'll be rooting for points," Lucas said.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Baltimore (6-2 SU/5-3 ATS) has won three in a row and four of its last five. In Week 8, the Ravens built a 24-7 lead by the fourth quarter and let off the gas in a 31-24 win as 9.5-point faves at Arizona.
Seattle (5-2 SU/4-3 ATS) narrowly stretched its current SU run to 5-1. The Seahawks got a TD in the final minute to beat Cleveland 24-20, but failed to cash as 4.5-point home favorites.
"We closed Ravens -4.5 on [last week's] lookahead. And it looked like Seattle was headed toward a pretty ugly home loss to Cleveland when we re-opened," Michaelson said in explaining The SuperBook's Ravens -5.5 opener. "The power rating for Baltimore is pretty high right now, even though the Ravens basically sleepwalked their way through the Arizona game today. The public will likely look to bet Baltimore."
Minnesota Vikings vs Atlanta Falcons Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|
- Opening point spread: Falcons -3.5
- Opening moneyline: Falcons -220/Vikings +180
- Opening total: Over/Under 38.5 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)
UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Atlanta opened -4 at BetMGM, peaked at -5 Wednesday, fell to -3.5 (-115) by Friday morning and is now -3.5 flat. This matchup has two-way spread play, as well, with 57% of tickets on the Falcons/58% of money on the Vikings.
The total hasn't been quite as volatile, going from 37.5 to 37 Tuesday, then to 37.5 Friday and 38 this morning. The Under is taking 56% of tickets/64% of dollars.
UPDATE 2 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Minnesota made a deal Tuesday with Arizona to acquire QB Josh Dobbs, in hopes he'll be a serviceable replacement for Kirk Cousins. But oddsmakers aren't buying in.
Atlanta opened -4 at TwinSpires, stayed at -4.5 in the immediate aftermath of Tuesday's deal and is now actually up to -5. The Falcons are landing 58% of tickets/70% of money early on.
"Sharp and public play on the Falcons," Lucas said. "Dobbs isn't moving the needle at all. He's a clear downgrade from Cousins."
The total slipped from 38 to 37, with 60% of tickets/63% of dollars on the Under.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: After a 1-4 SU start, Minnesota (4-4 SU/4-3-1 ATS) made its way back to .500 in Week 8. But the win came at a high cost, as QB Kirk Cousins suffered a torn Achilles in the fourth quarter.
The Vikings, giving 1 point at Green Bay, notched a 24-10 victory. Now, the Vikes turn to rookie fifth-round pick Jaren Hall – or perhaps make a move before Tuesday's trade deadline.
"I don't know much about that backup," SuperBook executive director John Murray said, in discussing what Cousins is worth to the point spread. "He's worth a touchdown, maybe. That's devastating for the Vikings."
Atlanta (4-4 SU/2-6 ATS) lost to Tennessee 28-23 as a 2.5-point road favorite. Falcons QB Desmond Ridder didn't play in the second half after being evaluated for a concussion, though he was cleared to play.
With Minnesota minus Cousins, Atlanta opened -3.5 at The SuperBook and quickly advanced to -4 tonight. The total fell from 38.5 to 38, then to 37.5.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Houston Texans Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|
- Opening point spread: Texans -2.5
- Opening moneyline: Texans -150/Buccaneers +130
- Opening total: Over/Under 38.5 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Caesars has been steady at Texans -2.5 (-120) throughout the week. Tampa Bay is taking 58% of spread bets, while 55% of spread cash is on Houston.
The total advanced from 38.5 to 39 and 40, all by lunchtime Monday. It's now 40 (Under -115). Current Caesars splits aren't available.
UPDATE 5 P.M. ET FRIDAY: BetMGM opened Houston as 2.5-point chalk Sunday night. On Monday morning, the Texans went to -3 (-105) for literally 25 minutes, then receded to -2.5 (-115).
That's where the number remained all week, with Houston landing 65% of spread tickets/60% of spread money.
The total opened at 38.5 and on Monday morning climbed to 39 and 40. There's been no movement since, with 62% of tickets and a hefty 87% of dollars on the Under.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Tampa Bay is coming off a mini-bye, having played in the Week 8 Thursday nighter. The Buccaneers (3-4 SU/4-3 ATS) lost to Buffalo 24-18, but cashed as 10-point road underdogs.
Houston (3-4 SU/4-3 ATS) lost a 15-13 rock fight of a game as a 3.5-point fave at Carolina. The Texans fell on a final-seconds field goal, ending a 3-1 SU/4-0 ATS surge.
"The Texans have played some good football this year. But we saw what making them a field-goal-plus favorite looked like today," Michaelson said. "I would imagine anything 3 or higher would be an invitation to the wiseguys on the 'dog."
Arizona Cardinals vs Cleveland Browns Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|
- Opening point spread: Browns -8.5
- Opening moneyline: Browns -310/Cardinals +250
- Opening total: Over/Under 40 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)
UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Cards appear set to start fifth-round rookie QB Clayton Tune today. Cleveland opened -7.5 last Sunday, and the line has since exploded after Arizona traded QB Josh Dobbs to the Vikings.
The Browns are now up to -12.5, with ticket count 2.5/1 and money 3/1 in Caesars' NFL Week 9 odds market.
The total opened at 40 and bottomed out at 37.5 Monday in the wake of the Dobbs move. On Friday, it climbed to 39, and it's now at 38. Current Caesars splits aren't available.
UPDATE 5 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Arizona traded away QB Josh Dobbs to Minnesota earlier this week, and it's possible that fifth-round rookie QB Clayton Tune will start Sunday. Kyler Murray, out since late last season with a torn ACL, might return, but that's uncertain at the moment.
Oddsmakers seem to think it will be Tune under center. Cleveland opened -7.5 at BetMGM and initially backed up to -7, then went to -8 Monday afternoon following the Dobbs trade. This afternoon, the Browns hit their peak of -10, where the line sits now.
Cleveland is taking 66% of spread tickets/60% of spread money.
The total opened at 39.5, topped out at 40 Monday, bottomed out at 37.5 Tuesday and made its way up to 39 by this afternoon. The Under is landing 81% of tickets/91% of money.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Cleveland (4-3 SU and ATS) dug itself into a 14-0 hole at Seattle, but rallied to take a 20-17 lead late in the third quarter. However, the Browns scored no more and gave up a final-minute TD, losing 24-20 as 4.5-point road pups.
Arizona (1-7 SU/4-4 ATS) suffered its fifth straight loss, falling to Baltimore 31-24 in Week 8. But the Cards got a last-minute field goal to cash as 9.5-point home 'dogs.
This line was a quick mover in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 9 market. The Browns opened -8.5 and within about 15 minutes dipped to -7.5.
Los Angeles Rams vs Green Bay Packers Odds
Matchup | Spread | Total | Moneyline |
---|
- Opening point spread: Rams -2
- Opening moneyline: Rams -165/Packers +142
- Opening total: Over/Under 41.5 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)
UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: It appears Matthew Stafford is out today for Los Angeles. Green Bay is currently at its peak of -4 at Caesars Sports, after opening -1 and steadily climbing throughout the week.
That said, spread ticket count is 2.5/1 on the Rams, and spread money is just beyond 2/1 on the Packers.
Caesars opened the total at 42 and steadily made its way down to 38 by Saturday. Current splits aren't available.
UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Rams QB Matthew Stafford (thumb injury) didn't practice this week and is questionable for Sunday's game. BetMGM opened the Packers -1.5, stretched to -3 (-120) Monday and touched -3.5 briefly on Tuesday and Thursday.
Green Bay is now -3 (-115), though tickets and money are beyond 3/1 on Los Angeles.
The total opened at 41.5 and made several stops on its way down to 38 (Over -120) Wednesday. On Thursday, the number went to 38.5, where it remains tonight. Practically all the tickets and dollars are on the Under, at 91% and 95%, respectively.
In fact, by ticket count, Packers-Rams is the most-bet Under in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 9 market.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Los Angeles (3-5 SU/4-3-1 ATS) got rolled 43-20 catching 6.5 points at Dallas in Week 8. The Rams are 1-3 SU and ATS in their last four games.
Green Bay (2-5 SU/3-4 ATS) didn't get a touchdown until the final minute of its 24-10 loss to Minnesota as a 1-point home underdog. The Packers are on an 0-4 SU and ATS purge.
Rams QB Matthew Stafford is questionable after suffering a thumb injury vs. the Cowboys. So the L.A.-Green Bay line quickly jumped the fence at The SuperBook. The Rams went from -2 to -1.5 to -1, then to pick, before shifting to Packers -1.5 and -2.
The total inched down from 41.5 to 41.

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: New England hit Caesars' NFL odds Week 9 market as 2-point chalk last Sunday. By Tuesday evening, the Patriots stretched to -3.5 (even), then backed up to -3 late Thursday.
The Pats are now -3 (+105), with the Commanders landing 57% of spread bets/55% of spread money.

The total moved from 40.5 (Under -115) to 40 Monday, returned to 40.5 Tuesday and got to 41 Thursday. The Under is seeing 56% of tickets, while 61% of money is on the Over.
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SUNDAY: For the second time this season, Washington held a double-digit first-half lead against Philadelphia. And for the second time this season, the Commanders lost.
Washington (3-5 SU/3-4-1 ATS) was up 14-3 in the second quarter, but ultimately lost 38-31 to push as a 7-point home 'dog.
New England got a surprise win over Buffalo in Week 7, but a difficult season resumed in Week 8. The Patriots (2-6 SU and ATS)) lost 31-17 getting 7.5 points at Miami.
Chicago Bears vs New Orleans Saints Odds

- Opening moneyline: Saints -330/Bears +260
- Opening total: Over/Under 41.5 points scored
- Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

Dolphins-Chiefs is an early Sunday neutral-site contest in Frankfurt, Germany.
"K.C. didn't look like itself today, but we're not going to overreact here," Michaelson said. "Miami hasn't beaten any good teams yet, and on a neutral field, we're comfortable with K.C. -2.5."
The total nudged up tonight from 49.5 to 50.

Tennessee (3-4 SU/4-3 ATS) held off an Atlanta rally for a 28-23 win as a 2.5-point home underdog.
"The QB situation in this game flipped, with Kenny Pickett getting injured today and Will Levis looking really good for Tennessee," SuperBook risk supervisor Chase Michaelson said. "We opened Steelers -4 on [last week's] lookahead, so the QB uncertainty definitely is a factor here."
Indeed, after re-opening Steelers -3 (even) tonight, the first move was down to Steelers -2.5 (-120) in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 9 market.
