2025-26 NFL Win Totals Betting Odds: Bills Favored To Break 11.5
NFL season win totals become a more popular market with each passing year. Speculation can never start too early, and bettors are all too eager to jump on anything NFL-related.

Crowded at the Top
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET FRIDAY, MAY 23: BetMGM's NFL season win totals have been up for a few weeks now. As noted above, four teams opened with an Over/Under of 11.5: Buffalo, Philadelphia, Kansas City and Baltimore.
But the Bills are seen as the most likely of those four to exceed their win total. BetMGM has Buffalo at 11.5 (Over -160), after opening at 11.5 (Over -145). The Eagles and Ravens are ostensibly unchanged, with both going from 11.5 (Over -115) to 11.5 (Over -118).
The Chiefs saw a similar shift, but in the other direction, from 11.5 (Under -115) to 11.5 (Under -118).
"The Eagles are our most-bet team from a futures perspective. But their season wins market so far has been bet to the Under," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said of the defending Super Bowl champs. "They do have a pretty tough schedule. That plays a role."
That includes two dates vs. the Washington Commanders, whom Philly beat in last season's NFC Championship Game. The Eagles face several more 2024-25 playoff teams:
- Home: L.A. Rams, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions
- Away: Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, L.A. Chargers, Bills.
Kansas City is seen as the least likely of the top four to crack 11.5 wins.
"Chiefs money has been mixed at 11.5. Some people are betting on their downfall, with Travis Kelce aging and maybe a Super Bowl-loss hangover," Cipollini said. "But there are those that will back Patrick Mahomes, no matter what."
Who's Up, Who's Down
UPDATE 3 P.M. ET FRIDAY, MAY 23: BetMGM opened the Dallas Cowboys' win total at 7.5 flat, expecting another subpar season from Dak Prescott & Co. But Cipollini said early action is on the Over, with the Cowboys now at 7.5 (Over -145).
The Chicago Bears are also taking Over money, opening at 8.5 (Under -140) and now at 8.5 (Under -118). With new coach Mike Vrabel, there's some optimism around the New England Patriots, too. The Pats opened 7.5 (Over -125) and are up to 8.5 flat.
The Cleveland Browns – with their huge quarterback stable, but perhaps not a promising starter – have dropped from 5.5 wins (Under -120) to 4.5 wins (Over -175). That's the lowest number in BetMGM's NFL win total odds.
That said, the lower number is drawing Over action.
"I'm not totally surprised by the drop, because it's the Browns. But the move from 5.5 to 4.5 has bettors interested, as it's been a popular market to bet Overs in," Cipollini said. "That probably has a lot to do with QB play, and likely they will have multiple starting QBs."
Among those QBs: Popular and polarizing rookie Shedeur Sanders, who was expected to be a first-round pick but plunged all the way to the fifth round.
The Cincinnati Bengals also dropped, going from 10.5 (Under -135) to 9.5 (Over -150). And the New Orleans Saints, who just saw QB Derek Carr retire due to a shoulder injury, fell from 6.5 flat to 5.5 (Under -150).
2024-25 NFL Win Totals Betting Results
The 2024 NFL regular season saw the Under hit on three of the four teams with the highest win totals. Kansas City, Buffalo and Philadelphia all failed to hit Over 11.5.
Tennessee, New England, Carolina, Denver and New York all managed to eclipse their NFL win totals, each going Over 5.5.

How to Read the NFL Win Totals Odds Market
Win Totals are popular and also simple to understand. Oddsmakers set a number prior to the start of the regular season for every team, and bettors can wager on Over or Under for the projections.
Example
Arizona Cardinals Win Total: 8.5
Arizona Cardinals Record: 9-8 (Over)
Arizona Cardinals Record: 8-9 (Under)
In the above example, bettors taking the Over on the Arizona Cardinals would need the team to finish with at least nine victories. For Under bettors, the Cardinals would have to finish 8-9 or worse for the regular season.
Bettors should note that most operators do not pay out these futures wagers until the end of the regular season, when the 17-game schedule is complete. And of course, these wagers do not include postseason victories.
