The Broncos are looking to bounce back after a 15-10 setback at home against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15. To make matters worse, QB Teddy Bridgewater was knocked out of the game due to a concussion. He was taken off on a stretcher and briefly hospitalized, and he remains in concussion protocol. QB Drew Lock is expected to start in his absence. The good news is that the Broncos have mostly avoided the COVID outbreak in the NFL, with only C Lloyd Cushenberry III on the reserve/COVID list.

The Raiders are also in good shape with just four players on the reserve/COVID list, with OG Jermaine Eluemunor and S Roderic Teamer landing on the list Wednesday. CB Brandon Facyson was placed on the list Tuesday, with CB Nate Hobbs still on the list since Monday.

Denver hits The Strip looking to take down Las Vegas in what is essentially an elimination game in the AFC West, and AFC playoff picture. The Broncos are also seeking revenge after losing at home 34-24 back in Week 6 in interim head coach Rich Bisaccia's first game at the helm.

In fact, after going 2-0 SU/ATS to start the season, the Raiders have covered just three times in the past 12 outings.

The Raiders have also covered just one of the past six games inside the division, while going 1-6 ATS in the past seven games in the month of December. They're also just 1-4 ATS in the past five after a straight-up win, and 1-4 ATS in the past five following a non-cover, too.

As far as totals are concerned, the OVER has cashed in six of the past seven games inside the division, while going 11-4 in the past 15 games against AFC teams. The OVER is also 8-3 in the past 11 games at home.

Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders Betting Conclusion

The Raiders have just seemed to have the number of the Broncos over the years. Vegas had the ugly incident with head coach Jon Gruden in mid-October, eventually seeing the legendary coach resign his position. Bisaccia stepped in, there were a ton of distractions, and the Raiders were still able to boat-race the Broncos, scoring what was, at the time, a season-high 34 points. That's legendary choking by the Broncos.

The Broncos now have to play a must-win game in Vegas with backup Lock, who is no lock to have a roster spot with the team heading into 2022. This won't end well for the Broncos, who are just 1-5 SU in the past six meetings with the Raiders, while Vegas is 7-1 ATS in the past eight meetings in this series. The UNDER is 8-2 in the past 10 meetings, too. The Raiders have managed 16 or fewer points in six of the past seven games. We'll see another UNDER result here, although I expect the Raiders to see a few more points on the scoreboard.
