NFL Total Plays Week 13

There are quite a few games that are matching up teams where both clubs have winning records on the schedule in Week 13. The way things are going in the NFL this season there’s a solid chance having an 8-8 record heading into your final game will make that Week 18 tilt feel like a playoff game. Let’s see if we can isolate some opportunities on the board for three total plays on Sunday.

Week 13 Best Total Plays

  • Denver Broncos vs. Baltimore Ravens UNDER 38.5
  • Detroit Lions Team Total OVER 25.5 Points
  • Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals OVER 52.5

Plays on the under are brutal to watch, especially early in the game since one big play or a turnover deep in on your side of the field can lead to unexpected points that you can’t afford to have. That hasn’t been the case betting on Denver Broncos games. Their game at the Raiders on the first Sunday in October went over the total, and every single game since then hasn’t.

This week they’re on the road again at the Ravens and while Baltimore gave up 28 points in that loss to the Jaguars in Jacksonville, at home they’ve been stingy in allowing points to the opposing team. In their last four games at M&T, they’ve allowed a total of 63 points and two of those visiting clubs were the Bills and Bengals.

Lions Team Total Over 25.5 Points

Betting team totals is a unique way to wager on football because you only have to worry about what one of the teams is doing. In a perfect world, the other team would score early and often, taking hardly any time off the clock and allowing your team to do the same. Plus, when the other club has the ball, you don’t have to invest as much of your attention span into the game.

On Thanksgiving, the Lions scored 25 points, allowed 28 of them and the game still stayed under the total. Detroit has scored 25 or more in four of their last five overall, and eight of their last nine at Ford Field. That was a huge win for Jacksonville last week and included a 33-point fourth quarter. The Jaguars are 1-4 on the road this year and in their last seven trips away from TIAA Bank Field, they’ve allowed 26 or more in six of them.

Chiefs-Bengals Over 52.5

Date: Sunday, December 4, 2022
Venue: Paycor Stadium
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Time-TV: CBS, 4:25 p.m. ET

What football fan doesn’t remember the last time these two played? The game was at Arrowhead and the Bengals won in overtime and secured a Super Bowl berth in what was one of the most exciting AFC Championship games in recent memory. This game is in Cincinnati and should be a great one too.

The Chiefs lead the league in total yards each game averaging 430 yards and are number one in scoring as well with 29.6 points each week. Joe Burrow’s team isn’t far behind in sixth place with over 367 yards and averaging over 25 points every week. The Bengals are on an 8-1 roll ATS and have scored 27 or more in five of their last six at home. Patrick Mahomes’ squad is 4-1 on the road this year and has scored 28 or more in eight of their last nine road games. Hopefully, this will be the shootout that looks possible when you check out these teams’ past results.
