Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show Survey
Leading up to the Super Bowl LVIII we do more than Super Bowl odds, and ahead of the big game, we conducted a survey on American NFL fans, representing the US population. The survey focused on the population's opinion on the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show, which Usher will headline. We survey more than 2,000 NFL fans to get representative insights into the current opinions.
Most Wanted Guest Performer
The survey participants were tasked with selecting their top-choice guest performers for Usher's halftime show from the extensive roster of individuals who had collaborated with him in the past. Alicia Keys came out on top with 22% of the votes, followed by Beyoncé with 18% and Snoop Dogg with 17%.
Usher and Alicia Keys collaborated on “My Boo” in 2004, where it was released as the fourth single on the “Confessions” album. The single topped the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed on top for six weeks. Beyoncé and Usher teamed up on “Love In This Club Part II” in 2008, making the pair a familiar connection for the fans. Snoop Dogg and Usher together is a bit different as their history of collaborating isn’t as impressive. The two have previously featured, together with Eric Bellinger, on “New Oldie” in 2021. Perhaps the reason why Snoop Dogg is so high in the rankings is because of his iconic performance at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show. We have our fingers crossed for a similar iconic performance from whoever gets to join Usher on stage for the halftime show. Regardless of how the halftime show goes, you bet on the game itself with our exclusive BetMGM Bonus Code.

Fans supporting the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, and the Seattle Seahawks want none of it. They don't want to hear any of Usher's songs and they don't want anyone to perform alongside him. Whether this stems from dissatisfaction with Usher as an artist and/or halftime entertainer, or if it reflects their overall discontent with the season's outcome, remains unclear. Perhaps they should consider taking a look at our Super Bowl picks to make the viewing experience more enjoyable. Regardless of the motivations, it's clear that Usher doesn't resonate with everyone.
