NHL Qualifying Round Odds and Props

The NHL decided to end its regular season and fast-track to the postseason with 24 teams. Eight teams have already advanced to the first round of the playoffs (Boston, Tampa Bay, Washington, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Colorado, Vegas, and Dallas), but the other eight spots are up for grabs in late July.

In an interesting twist, 16 teams will play in eight separate best-of-five series for the right to advance to the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Odds have been put up by FanDuel for each of the series, which feature matchups of teams seeded fifth through 12th in both the Eastern and Western Conferences.

Among the different props offered at FanDuel include series winner, how many games will each series last, and the exact result of the series in games with the winner.
